Rite Rug

Installation was scheduled and performed exactly as promised. The installers Santos and Elan were professional and courteous. Santos worked with us concerning some our specific requests. The work they did is beautiful and we have had compliments since the installation on the craftsmanship. If we have any further flooring needs we will use Veda and Rite Rug again.

We went with them because of the pricing. There was just some space that they left around the washer that wasn't filled in. They sort of patched together a couple of pieces. Nobody can see it, but I know it's there because I do the laundry. I wasn't real thrilled with that. Nobody else does notice it. Everything else was fine. We get complements all of the time on our floor. I just thought for a company that sells flooring that they should have those nooks and crannies figured out better. It's not like a neighbor did it, it was a real company.

Sales person Jonathan was just fine. Very helpful and got the job done professionally and was very attentive. However, I would like to tell you the fiasco that went on here today to get the carpet installed. I called the Customer Service at Rite Rug to get an approximate time of installation and was told 10. At 11:30 I was told noon. At 1:30 I was told they were on their way. At 2:30 they could not find the installers. The Customer Service Center at Rite Rug told me they would have a supervisor call me. I received no call. At 3:00, the installers showed up. I did not want this project to go until 8:00 this evening with a crew that is tired and could care less. Neither of these installers spoke English and their supervisor got on the phone with me to assure the job would get done. I could not understand him either. I need the furniture to be replaced. They are dragging furniture around and I don't trust them to do the job correctly. I would NEVER recommend Rite Rug to anyone. This has been a disaster. It was perfect. They said it would be in within a week to 10 days and it was 10 days. They did what they said.

The experience was pretty good. I got a quote of around $4000 for the job from them. They came out pretty quickly to give me the quote. The person I talked to was knowledgeable about wooden floors. They had some less expensive installations too and the wood was pretty good considering the prices. I am satisfied with them till now and would use them if I were to do it that way, given the prices and everything else. I wasn't quite impressed with them on a previous quote. They had sent young guys who came out to look at the job and told me that they didn't even know whether the company did that sort of work. I am a little worried about them since installations can get a little tricky. They seemed pretty professional this time around and the person I talked to seemed to know floors. I am probably going to buy the wood from somebody and hire someone with a good reputation to install it since that would work out somewhat cheaper, but it is a lot of trouble to do that.
