Midwest Lightscapes did an awesome job. Our exterior lighting system was 30% functional. Andrew and his team repaired it and brought it back to its former glory -- on time and under budget. They were professional, responsible, and super nice. Would absolutely hire them again!

Using Angie’s List, I shopped for an outdoor lighting professional to provide landscape lighting in order to accent the front of my home. After receiving proposals, I accepted the lighting scheme offered by Midwest Lightscapes. Andrew Freed, owner, arrived at my home and carefully listened to the thoughts of my wife and me. In response, Andrew provided options as we stood in the front lawn. He further suggested pathway lighting and demonstrated his thoughts as he actually set-up lighting at dusk for us to review. As we examined his proposal, he provided clarity regarding his design recommendation. Andrew shared how the lighting instruments would be installed, the quality of the copper fixtures instruments, and how these would age. He further shared that he had color lenses available to “drop into” the lamps specific to holidays. And, he provided instruction regarding LED bulb replacement. We found Andrew enthusiastic about his business, work, and product. Most importantly, we love the end result! Andrew returned to insure quality of his work and to inquire if there needed to be adjustments. If you are wanting a solid company and professional to advance your outdoor lighting plans, Midwest Lightscapes is that company.

Great! Andrew is very responsible, reactive and professional. He was a tremendous help with his suggestions. He is very knowledgeable. We had our work done a day early because Andrew called and said we were getting thunderstorms the day we were scheduled for installation. He asked if he came a day early stating he would rather be ahead of the install. Andrew has a professional demeanor and integrity. He does exactly what he says he will do. We trust Andrew and respect his work. We are very happy with our lighting and we highly recommend his services.

The owner came to our home after sunset and set up a full blown test of what our lighting would look like. We were very specific and not wanting anything too bright or garish. The results were exactly what we were looking for. The company uses top quality equipment including a top of the line commercial grade control box and in our case solid copper fixtures.

We hired Andrew and the team from Midwest Lightscapes for a custom lighting design and installation on a Victorian Village home. The house had outdated low-voltage halogen outdoor lights and many of them were not working. Andrew designed and installed a new system including uplighting on the front of the house. The back yard had a more comprehensive lighting plan including well lights, deck lights, and tree lights in the back yard. It looks amazing! They did a great job and took great pains to hide all of the wiring, especially with the lights they installed on our wood fence in the back yard. I appreciated working with the company because they're a small business and Andrew, the owner, was here doing most of the work. He takes pride in the project and does a great job.

Andrew with Midwest Lightscapes was excellent. We used him for repairs on our home lights on our previous house and were impressed with his work. Therefore, when we purchased our new home we used him for the complete home lighting package. He came out one evening and did a demo on our home that was valuable to see exactly how it could look. Later he sent detailed pictures labeled where the different types of lights would be placed. He was punctual, honest and it turned out exactly as we planned and discussed. Overall A+ and I would recommend him to friends and family.

I talked to Andrew Freed the owner and set up a night time demonstration to determine what lighting we would like. Not knowing much about placement or intensity of the lighting, we relied on his experience to determine what we would require and what would look best. He came out one evening and explained what he would be doing and showed us the fixtures that he would be using. He demonstrated a very broad knowledge of the low voltage lighting system, the proper intensities for different purposes, and was very congenial and easy to talk to. The all brass and copper fixtures were very beautiful even before they were lit up. We went inside while he continued setting up and went out when he was done to a totally transformed view of our home and landscaping. Besides the lighting of the trees etc., the lighting brought out textures in the stone, stucco and woodwork of the house the we had never really noticed before. We also had two sets of stone slab steps descending into our sloping back yard and it also looked amazing and like something out of a home design magazine. Very satisfied with what he had done, we ordered our lights and within a week or so he came back and installed them. The finished project and transformation was better than we had ever imagined. It was something we had always wanted to do and now that we see the results and how beautifully it has transformed our home and yard we wish we had done it sooner!

The job was performed excellently. Mr. Freed was attentive to what I wanted and did what I asked. He also is considerate with other people's time and arrived promptly.

Did a good job

Andrew is very prompt and professional. He came out to troubleshoot my existing system and gave me options to fit into my budget. He returned when he promised and finished the work quickly. He also followed up to see how I liked it, I responded with a change I'd like, he ordered the new bulb and installed it without question. I would definitely recommend Midwest Lightscapes.

We are so pleased with our choice to use Midwest Lightscapes. Andrew Freed is such a nice person. He was very professional, knowledgeable and had great suggestions. He and one other person showed up on the day of install promptly at the time given. It took them about 6-8 hours for the total install. Andrew set the lights to come on and go off for us. Andrew returned that evening to look at everything when dark. He noticed a light that he didn't like the placement of and called me on Sunday morning asking if he could come out and change it. Of course we said yes! The lights make our house and trees look absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much!! We highly recommend Midwest Lightscapes.

Andrew and his team were great. I got the lights for my parents as a Anniversary gift. My parents love the lights and I would recommend Midwest Landscapes to others.

I had a light that I had an issue with so I contacted Andrew to see about getting it fixed. He came out the next day and repaired the light like new for 150.00 dollars, He showed up at the time we set up and knew exactly what to do I will definitely use him again if I have any more trouble with my outdoor lighting.
