MDS SHARP N LUBE

It went well as ususal. I've been using MDS for several years and everything has always gone well. This year was just the standard tune up and cleaning. Mark was on time and did the job quickly.

Very professional. Discussed the needed repairs and value of repair vs replace. Will hire again.

I've used MDS Sharp and Lube many times over the years. I LOVE the fact that he comes to you. No loading up the mower and trying to take it somewhere. He does a great job! Couldn't be happier.

I've used them before and would again. I have a Honda self propelled walk behind mower and asked MDS to come by to do their routine service. In includes check over, cleaning, oil change, spark plug, blade sharpening and I opted for a new air filter ($9). He said it would be half an hour, but I bet he spent more time on it. It took a long time to get on their schedule. They are that good. So schedule early if you plan to use them. I will use them again.

We have used them before and it went just as well this time around. They were worked with us so that we didn't have to be home for them to do the service. The price is a little high when I could go out and buy a new one for a few hundred dollars. They sharpen the blade, change the oil, change the spark plug and clean the mower up. It looks like they may change the air filter if needed but I don't think that mine was changed nor was I charged for it if would have been an additional cost.

They are really good at what they do, they are very busy. They do more maintenance than repair. They sharpen blades and things like that. They are definitely good at what they do. They come to your house, they have everything right there with them in the truck. They do all the work right there. As busy as they are, their price has to be competitive. I would definitely use them again.

I found this company online and called him. He called me back promptly and came to the house while I was at work, as agreed. Very easy to work with this company.

He was honest and really nice. He did a great job. He was efficient. He explained everything. He saved the day when it came to fixing our lawn mower. We were able to use the lawn mower that night.

My son already knew it was probably the carburetor and that's what we told him. He didn't even attempt to fix it. So my son bought some carburetor cleaner and with the help of one of our neighbors, had it fixed in about a half hour. He didn't charge for the service call but I would never call him again just because he wasted our gasoline and didn't make any attempt to fix the lawnmower.

My experience with Mark was outstanding throughout. From the very beginning, he was prompt in returning my call, in spite of the fact it was late in the day before a holiday weekend. He was honest and professional on the phone, as well as when he arrived to do the repairs. I had cleared room and had it all set up for him to perform the repairs in my garage. However, unbeknownst to me, he has his own mobile workshop/trailer that he brings with him so he drove the mower into the trailer and made the repairs in there. He was very fair and efficient with time and didn't try to drag the repairs out in order to get more money. Speaking of money/cost, I was extremely pleased with his prices and thought they were more than fair and economical for the service he provided. Therefore, I would definitely recommend him and will definitely be calling him from now on when/if my lawn mower needs serviced or repaired!

He's always punctual & competitively priced. I'm almost afraid to rate him on Angie's List because I know it will mean he'll be even busier than he is now & I'll wait longer for service. He's the best kept secret in lawn mower service! He deserves Super Service POH recognition for all his years of service to my mower.

No issue all went great will definitely will call MDS for the mowers spring maintenace for now on.

I was recommended to MDS Sharp & Lube by a friend, prior to joining Angie's List. I had said that I was having problems with my lawn mower and may have to buy a new one, when my friend recommended Mark instead. At this time my mower was six years old and in bad shape. Well, Mark worked on it for about 45min., and when he was finished it looked and ran like new. The service was extremely efficient and cost-effective. Moreover, Mark was very professional and really took his time explaining in detail all of the repairs he'd made. I highly recommend Mark, and MDS Sharp & Lube, and will definitely hire them again.

We had contacted them earlier in the season and they had a 9 week wait. This time the wait was less than two weeks and we were able to schedule a Saturday which was a pleasant surprise. They called with a reminder the day before. On the day of service, they were running a little ahead of schedule and asked if they could arrive a little earlier. Took them about half an hour to service the mower out in their trailer. We would definitely use them again. The fact that they came to the house was very convenient.

The lawn mower was not working well after last mowing season and was hard to start. Mark was able to get everything working and now I can start the mower on the first try. Also, Mark discovered a bolt was missing and although he did not have this bolt in stock, he provided a temporary solution until he could locate the proper bolt. This is the second time that I have used this service provider and both times I have been extremely satisfied with the service and cost. I was given a higher quote over the phone than what I actually paid. Also, I found this service provided thru Angie's List.

First, Mark is a professional. He's been tuning and repairing lawn mowers for 18 years so he knows what he's doing. Since I called during the busy early summer schedule, he couldn't come until 6 weeks out. Fortunately, when an opening became available, he remembered and gave me a call and came 4 weeks early! He and his fellow employee showed up with their mobile mower trailer and went right to work. True to his word, 20 minutes later my mower came out of the trailer looking brand new and all tuned up. What great service! I know who I'll be calling each year for mower service: MDS!

Mark called in advance and arrived as promised. He completed all work in approximately 30 minutes. When finished, my mower looked nearly new. Mark's work is thorough, efficient, and neat. His pricing for his services is very fair and reasonable. I had also been having problems with the self-propelled functionality on my mower for the past year. Mark diagnosed the probelm and within days after servicing my mower called me with pricing for parts and labor to repair the self propelled issue. He offered to do the work for a very reasonable fee but told me how to fix the self-propelled matter myself as it was not a difficult thing to do. I did end up making the self-propelled repair myself. Mark's honesty and willingness to encourage me to make the self-propelled repair was much appreciated. Mark is one of the most honest, professional, and outstanding persons that I have found on Angie's List in my 3+ years of Angie's List membership. I look forward to using his services again and would recommend Mark without hesitation to anyone considering his work!
