I was very impressed with Fred's professionalism and knowledge. He provided important information about my furnace. He also took the time to look at a problem I am having with a register in one room and recommended a fix. I will definitely be calling Klein Heating & Cooling to inspect my air conditioner in the spring.

It went great. I was very impressed by his professionalism and his obvious knowledge, as well as his commitment to making sure his work made the furnace as safe as it could be. I'm in the process of closing on my own home, and he's the plumber I'll use for any problem -- large or small. I fully recommend him as the best plumbing experience I've had since I moved here to Ohio from Pennsylvania ten years ago.

The technician was friendly, fast, and very professional. He even entertained our dogs' inability to not be friends with new visitors.

I woke up at 5 am and the temperature in the house was only 48 degrees. The furnace was not working properly. The blower would come on but it was only cold air that was being circulated through the house. After unsuccessfully trying to fix it myself, it was apparent I had no idea how to get the furnace going again. By 6 am we had to call in a professional. Klein was the only company that could be here within a short period of time. The person we talked to even gave us some things to check before we had them come out. When Fred got here (right on time), he was very professional and very courteous. He walked me through every thing he was doing and explained how the furnace igniter worked. He gave me a choice of igniters - go with one that was like the broken one or a slightly more expensive one. I liked that he gave me that choice. After the installation, he then went over the entire system and gave me some pointers on how to make it more efficient, like sealing up the duct connections and getting a programmable thermostat, he even told me how to install it myself. Fred really cares about his work and the people he is helping. I would definitely call on Klein again and recommend him to all my friends and family.

Fred went above and beyond expectations. Our compressor went out on the hottest days of the year. We first sought out another company who refused to replace just the compressor on my unit. Fred came out and confirmed the compressor was bad and was willing to replace just the compressor. He had to special order it from Indiana and it took several days longer to receive the part so he even discounted me the cost of the part due to the delay of his supplier. When he installed it, he also noticed a missing filter in my unit and he welding that filter directly on my incoming freon line without charge. Top of the line work. Additionally, the assistant is wonderful. She was always courteous and kept me up to date on the latest issues. Very professional. Lastly, he also talked me through an issue during the winter..which turned out to be a bad thermostat (which caused my A/C to kick on in sub zero temperatures). I was able to diagnose the issue over the phone and replace the thermostat myself. Nest replaced it free of charge. Klein heating and cooling..I cannot recommend them more. I've already referred them to my co-workers

Excellent experience. Heat went out overnight on Christmas Eve. Called Klein heating and Cooling on Christmas Day and they were at our house 40 minutes later. Professional, knowledgable and successfully got furnace working again. Signed a maintenance contract to avoid Christmas Day overtime rates, and ending up paying about the same price quoted by a competitor, but got two maintenance service calls (spring and fall tune up and check) included. In addition, I had spoken with them on the phone a few weeks prior and they were able to talk me through another furnace problem at no cost. Highly recommended.

I contacted 3 vendors requesting estimate of installation of a humidifier on our furnace & Fred was the only one that suggested a private label unit made by Carrier (same brand as my furnace) that offered a substantial cost savings. He was 30 minutes late but he had his office call to inform me he was held up in traffic. He completed the humidifier installation & did a furnace & hot water heater inspection. He provided us a print out out of the combustion gases from both units. He also tightened up some duct work that was left in poor condition by a previous contractor - no charge. He then showed me how to light the pilot on our gas logs which I had not been able to light since we moved in last year - again no charge. When it was time to pay the bill he applied the Angie's list 10% coupon with out even being asked. He then didn't charge me for the furnace & hot water inspection ($64.00) because he felt bad about being 30 minutes late. I don't know if Fred is always this good or maybe he wanted a good Angie's List review but I just know his telephone number is stored on my phone.

Klein performed a thorough inspection and cleaning of our furnace. During the inspection he found a crack in one of the plastic parts, which was allowing water to leak and rust to form. I was quoted a fee to order the part and the labor to replace it, which was very reasonable. We will definitely use them for all our hvac needs! Fred is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything. I feel like we have found an honest and good company!

They were great. They told me a lot of information about my furnace. They told me my condenser on the AC unit was very old and in bad shape. He saved me money by telling me I didn’t need to buy a new heating unit but an AC unit was recommended.

He is very trustworthy and will show you step by step what he is doing. He writes down everything that he does.

Fred came out same day as promised even though it was very late in the day and quickly diagnosed a loose screw in thermostat that I installed was causing my air conditioner and fan not to work. He took the time to ensure everything else was ok. He was swamped with air conditioner service calls that day because it was unsesonabbly hot. All I can say is how grateful I am to have knowledgable trustworthy service at reasonable fees. Definitely call if you need heating or cooling service. Definitely worth the wait, although he usualy gets to you same day if at all possible.

It was Saturday at 7:00 pm. Columbia Gas had shut off the gas to our entire house (February in Ohio....need I say more?) because, in the routine inspection and replacement of our gas meter (it was leaking), the tech decided to perform an impromptu inspection of all of the lines and venting. He found that the venting from the hot water tank, while functional, was not up to code. Since part of the issue involved the joint vent pipe coming from the furnace, he shut off the gas to the entire house. I had called four HVAC companies by now, only to be told that those repairs would need to be done by an installer, which nobody, apparently, has on any kind of an emergency standby. I saw Klein Heating and Cooling in the book published by Angie's List and called. Fred, the owner, answered the phone. When I explained our situation, he said "Oh, I can probably help you out with that. Let me finish this job and I will be there in about 20-30 minutes. He got to our house, came & inspected the problem & decided that yes, indeed, he could fix it tonight, if we were OK with the exceptionally reasonable price he quoted and were willing to wait while he went back to his shop to get the necessary pipe parts. We confirmed that we would like for him to move forward with the repairs, as the temperature in the house was quickly dropping. Mr. Klein came back to the house after picking up the necessary parts at his office and started making the repairs. He had us call Columbia Gas to come out and turn the gas back on while he was there, in case there were any further leaks, he could fix them while he was still at the house. We are so very thankful for Mr. Klein and his company has newfound customers for life. We will be sure to tell everyone we know about this experience and will refer as many people to him as we can. Purchased an Angie's List special to have Klein Heating and Cooling come out and do a yearly furnace tune up. We have a 20+ year old furnace that we are hoping will last a few more year. We had a little glitch with the scheduling and had to reschedule for a different day, but other then that our experience was great. They came out and cleaned the furnace and spent time working on the humidifier that hasn't been working. Had to have some repair work done to keep they HVAC system operating more effieciently.

Was very thorough, educational and seemingly eager to please. Came on time, was courteous and overall experience was very good.

Klein showed up on time, was extremely courteous, and explained everything that he was doing. The inspection went well; he took his time and provided me with all the relevant analysis and information. He was also very patient to answer my questions. In the end he noted my furnace and water heater were operating efficiently and gave me a few tips to keep it that way.

I called them out of phone book. To talk about appointment to check furnace. They came the same day two hours after I called. was very professional and neat when down to check furnace he went right to work checked everything. He explained things so I could understand them he told me a few things I could do to improve a few things on vents I could do to stop losing heat he told me I could have a couple more or furnace. But what to look for before I call again. Will use them when I need a new Furnace.
