I originally called Judge’s on 5/16/2019 and scheduled service for my septic to be pumped on 5/22/2019. The price was reasonable at $320. Everything was scheduled, and the secretary read back my information and the date they would come, and said I would get a call when they were 30 minutes out. I took the afternoon of 5/22 off of work, so I could be at my house for the pumping. I called Judge’s at 3:00pm on 5/22 to see when they planned on being at my house. They told me I wasn’t in their scheduling book for the day. I spoke with the owner and his wife. They apologized, said their secretary must not have entered the information in the schedule book. They took $10 off for the mishap, and another $10 for Angies List discount, and rescheduled me for 5/31/2019. 7:45am on 5/31, and I receive a call stating I am too far for them to service (53 miles round trip), and they would bot be coming. Worst company I have ever dealt with!!!

I called Judge’s on 5/16/2019 to schedule them to come out and pump my septic tank. I was told they could come out on 5/22 to pump my septic tank. They took my name, phone number, and address, and scheduled me for 5/22 service. The secretary re-stated my information, and said I would receive a phone call 30 minutes before they show up. 5/22 rolls around and I take the afternoon off of work, so I can be at my house when they come to clean my septic tank. 3:00pm rolls around, and I call Judge’s to find out when they plan on coming. I call and speak with the owner, and he said I was not scheduled for service. He apologized, said he would take $10 off, and handed the phone to his wife, who would schedule me for a different date. I told his wife I saw them on Angies List, and she took another $10 off. She scheduled me for 5/31, and said I would get a call 30 minuted before they show up to do the work. 5/31 rolls around and I get a phone call from Judge’s at 7:45am. I was told by the owner that I live too far from them, and he would not becoming to pump my septic tank. Worst service I have ever dealt with. I do NOT recommend this company for septic cleaning!

I was very happy that they were able to fix my problem for minimal expense and they also did some free work on my lift station check valve. Judge and his men are a pleasure to work with, very experienced and oriented toward saving the customer expense and future problems.

Owner came out with a couple guys and figured out why I had water pouring out of my pipes in my basement. They discovered a hidden septic tank. I had the obvious one emptied when I moved into my house. The previous owners didn't live here long so they may not have known about it either. As soon as they emptied it the water stopped pouring out. Thanks for everything.

We called Judge's to empty our septic tank, and because I thought a problem we were having with our toilets might possibly be related to the septic tank. Kenny and his partner (sorry I never got his name) came out right on time (when promised) and emptied the tank. While they did that, I asked lots of questions and Kenny was very patient with me, answering all of them until I understood them! He said he thought the problem I was describing with the toilets was very likely a clogged drain pipe (leading to the septic tank), and after a couple of simple tests (flushing the toilets, basically), it became very obvious there was a blocked pipe. Since it was a holiday week (Thanksgiving), they were very busy, but when I asked them if they could return the next day to clear the blockage, they moved their schedule around and agreed to come back. The following day they cleared the blockage and installed risers on the septic tank and the distribution box. I'm not sure what all of that should have cost, but $860 seemed fair to me. Both men were very professional, patient, and conscientious while they worked. I was quite impressed!

Tech was knowledgable and quick. Helped us avoid a larger issue with our system.

Jim Farley and his co-worker were extremely quick, helpful and professional. They inspected the entire system and gave me some tips for future use. They set us up with a service plan and even said that if they come out and service is not needed they will not charge us but will come back in another year. We called yesterday and they were here before 11AM today. They called ahead to see if the time was good. I am very happy we called Judge's and they have great team members.

I've actually had Judge out to give me a bid on excavating my septic tank cover. A previous septic tank servicer came and told me my septic tank lid was buried approximately 3 feet under ground and would need a riser installed to bring the septic tank cover to ground level. Judge came out and found the septic tank lid buried about 3 inches in a nearby flower bed! I thought I would have to spend about $3000 for excavation services but Judge saved me that money by finding the cover. He then sent out two technicians who provided exemplary service. They emptied the septic tank and found a problem in my lift pump and fixed it. Judge and his technicians were professional, prompt and knowledgable. Thank you Judge's Septic Service! I will recommend you and use your services going forward.

Put my client on the right path to fixing the issue with their septic tank. He was honest about what my client needed to do and not trying to grab a few bucks. My client raved about the way he presented himself. |When it comes time to do that job or for any client who may need septic services, he has my recommendation.

It was horrible, following the county coming out to perform their annual inspection. I contacted them to get an estimate and they told me I had to put in a new pump and it would cost up to $1,100 when it turned out to only need a $168 part. The county came after the part was installed by another service provider, and everything was working fine and approved.

The guys from Judge's were great! They arrived a few minutes early and were careful about bringing their big truck onto our concrete driveway. Even though I said it was okay, they preferred to leave it on the pavement. We are rookies to septic systems, so I had dozens of questions. The 2 guys were very friendly and answered every single one of them, with detail and in layman's terms. There were no surprises or guessing. Suggestions were made on what we could do to streamline our septic system and keep it running optimally. They left everything looking exactly as it had when they showed up. Zero mess. Whole process took about a hour (even with all my questions). I wrote a check for the exact amount I was quoted on the phone. No extra fees or anything like that. We will definitely be calling them again!

I called Judges Sanitation because they were the first ones listed on Angie's list and had an A rating and a Super Service Award. Our aerator motor was not working. They came out and took it out and showed me the filters that were dirty and stated that the motor was ruined. We were very unhappy because the motor was probably only about 3 to at the most 5 years old. They had not installed the original motor. They told us we would need a new motor att a cost of over $1,000! My husband questioned that price and they stated that that was the price that they had gone up. The guy even told me that they don't really make any money off of,those anyways. We decided to call another place, Everclean. Everclean came out. John, from Everclean told me that more than likely he could have repaired the motor by putting in a new vein kit at a much lower cost. Needless to say, we had to get a new motor. However, on the upside, John from Everclean told us that with putting in a new motor with a 2 year warranty(Judges only came with a 1 year warranty) it would be $743.00. Much better than $1,000+! I just don't understand why Judges gets listed first when looking for septic service and gets a Super Service Award when if you read in other comments on other reviews, there are several issues listed with Judges. I am disappointed because I went with them because of their award and being listed first. I am out $95.00 with them.

This is the first property I have owned with a septic system. I just moved to the Sunbury area in February and was under the impression that the system was in good shape. I had the house inspected before I purchased the property and nothing was mentioned about the system other than it had been pumped in 2009. Because I was unfamiliar with the care and maintenance of septic systems and all the horror stories I heard about them, I decided to have the system inspected by a professional whose business was septic systems. This decision was smart on my part because the tank was full, needed cleaning, and the distribution box was in bad shape. If I had not had Judges personnel out I would have had major problems with my septic systems distribution system in six months that would have cost many thousands of dollars more than the money I did spend. In addition to putting my system in excellent shape I also received an education and the care and maintenance of septic systems

Judge was amazing. After a month of sewage backup in the house and repeated efforts with other plumbers we found Judge. He came to the house, gave us a free estimate because the situation was so bad and he couldn't help us that day due to the weather. He came back Christmas Eve morning, pumped our septic tank and told us how to fix the problem. I highly recommend his services and will use him every year!

We got a quote and decided to go with them after they told us they could be out in a week. I called at the end of the week when I hadn't heard anything, and they let us know it would now be pushed to a week and a half. They called us the next week and said that the head of the Health department had been out sick all week so they couldn't get a permit and needed to push it back yet another week. I called the Health department and found out the head had been at a conference for only two days and would be back the next day, so they lied to us about that. The next week it rained, so they canceled again because we had a large hill they needed to go down to get to the tank site. The person who quoted said we had a large hill, but it should not be a problem - this was the first we realized it would indeed be a problem. The next week they showed up, the owner decided that the hill was too large for them to go down (after three weeks, he'd never bothered to come out and look, though we'd been promised he would) and they canceled, saying they needed the tank delivery company to say they didn't mind delivering down the hill. I called all week, as they had stopped calling me, to see what was being done. Finally the next week (after about 4 1/2 weeks total) they brought in some heavier equipment, scooped a drive out behind our house and put the tank in. They covered the drive over, but there are rocks everywhere and it is so uneven we will probably have to hire someone in the spring to smooth it out to even try to mow back there. They attempted to charge $2,500 more because of the heavier equipment and putting in a temporary road, and dropped it to $1500 when my husband complained. The stress of them constantly canceling, then implying they may not even be able to do the job at all, was pure misery for us. I believe that they did a good job, once they actually worked on the tank and put it in and hope we have no problems as we never want to have to call that number again! Our yard is a rutted mess, but it probably would be that way no matter who we hired.

I called to have the septic emptied and was impressed by their professionalism. I feel sorry for the guy who came out due to having a thousand questions however he took the time and answered every one. I would call them again without hesitation if I needed any further work or service preformed.

Judge stopped by immediately after I called to ensure I wasn't in a bind. Later, when they did the work on my aerator, Judge and his team replaced two collapsed lines, created two new access ports, replaced the inspection box, removed the invading tree roots from the system, and pumped out the tank. My only complaint is that the price seemed a bit high, but they did good work.

Called to request service on Monday. Job scheduled for Wednesday morning. Two service technicians arrived at 11:30am and cleaned out our 2000 gallon septic tank. Job was completed in approximately 30 minutes.

They showed up promptly after being called at the time they said they would. Found out what the problem was and corrected it. Checked over the rest of the system and made recommendations. Additional work was needed that required some parts. I approved the start of the work needed. They finished the work later that day for the price I was quoted. I would/will use them again.

Monday came and went and no show, called the office and said we got bumped for an emergency. Ok that happens, was scheduled for first thing tues. No show, they scheduled for Wed. Driver arrived middle of the afternoon instead of first appt. Cleaned the system, said the pumped needed to be cleaned before the system should be restarted and told ME how to pull it. Now i am handy but standing in a septic tank is not what i choose to do in life especially when i hire a "Full service" company. Wont use again. The price quoted for installing a pump was twice what i paid two years ago.

They were excellent in every area and the guys were all extremely personable. They were very concientious with outstanding integrity. They could've charged me because of my lack of understanding about plumbing, but they were honest and said we didn't need this, this, or this. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

I called Judge with a leach field problem. He showed up the next morning, took a look at my situation and told me that he thought I had a problem with a curtain drain but that he needed to see drawings to confirm. He explained how to get the drawings from the local health department and told me to send him the drawings when I got them. He also said that my distribution box was not installed properly. I asked him to prepare an estimate for installing a new distribution box. He responded by promising to provide an estimate for the curtain drain and the distribution box upon receipt of the drawings. I obtained the drawings and sent them to his office after speaking with his wife to let her know they were on the way. I waited about a week and heard nothing. I called back and his wife told me that my paperwork was on the top of the stack and I would be hearing from Judge in a day or two. It is now about six weeks later and I've heard nothing. I'm going to find someone else to perform the work. It's too bad because Judge and his wife are very nice people and seemed very trustworthy. I was looking forward to working with them. Judge mentioned that he had recently acquired another business. Hopefully his lack of responsiveness isn't a sign that he has bitten off more than he can chew.

This was the first time we had done anything with our septic tank in the 4 years we have lived in out current house and Judge explained everything we needed to do with the upkeep. He also showed us how to make an apparatus that allows us to use only one leech bed at a time.
