Went very well. They made us aware of everything they were doing, and asked questions about potential problems they saw, rather than make their own decision to cut. Do make sure you are talking to the foreman on the job, so you know who to talk to if you have a question or see a problem.

They were excellent; very good. I was satisfied. They also went over to my sister's and trimmed her trees. The arborist is excellent and knows exactly what to do. The workers were good too. They seem to know what they are doing. The only negative is that he makes a date and doesn't call close to the date so I had to keep calling him. They showed up on time. He is so busy that he can't keep confirming.

Jobie was recommended by neighbors but it was 7 days before they returned our call. By then another company had already done the work.

Jobie showed up pretty late in the evening to give the quote, but considering how busy all the tree service companies were after the 6/29/12 storm I was glad to see him. Jobie was very friendly and knowledgable and gave me a written quote for $1650. I told him I was going to get some other quotes, so I may or may not be in touch. After getting a total of five quotes that ranged from a high of $3900 to a low $1650 we obviously decided to go with Jobie. They showed up on time and did exactly what was quoted. They used a piece of equipment similar to a Bobcat to help remove the trees so my yard took a bit of a beating, but when removing a tree of that size I don't know if they have much choice. Overall I am pleased and would certainly use them again. I will give you all a word of warning when it comes to stump grinding. It leaves behind a lot more wood chips then you think. Unless you have a use for a bunch wood chips I recommend you have them add the removal of the wood chips to your quote.

Had a bit of an issue with response to email asking for a scheduled time but my situation is unique in that I work from home so the short notice request to come today didn't really impact me. Very happy with the service overall.

The guys were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and had a great working relationship with each other. I could tell they really enjoyed their work and had great senses of humor which came in handy because we kept asking for extra services as the the work went along. We told them we would pay them to haul some dirt away from our yard but they said if we bought them lunch they would include it. They really went above and beyond the call of duty and I actually had a great time with them. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They stayed until the job was done at about 8:00 p.m. They worked really hard and I would give them an A+++ if I could. I highly recommend them to anyone! Next time they do work for us maybe they will teach me how to run the bobcat! ;)

Jobie and his crew were great. Jobie's quote was a little higher than others but when I called he beat the price! His team was here within 2 weeks of the contract being signed. We couldn't be happier with the work he did for us.

They are a family owned company and they have been around for a long long time. They are local to here.

They gave me a 10% discount because my neighbor and I both used him. He is a local and has been in business for a long time. His professionalism and punctuality were great, as was the quality of work. They worked straight through the day and we are very happy with how the trees look.

I think it went fine. My impression was they were very honest, because they told me one tree was not worth injecting. They seemed very professional. I don't know a lot about this procedure, but they seemed to know what they were doing.

After some debate as to whether or not my husband and I would be using Jobie we finally agreed that Jobie himself was a nice guy and worth the extra money to have him come out. We were asked to fax back the proposal to them, we did have being assured by Jobie's wife that it was not a binding contract in anyway that it just allowed for them to put us on the books. However, it took over three weeks to get on their books. We understand that you cannot control the weather, however we are not sure the the company even watches for bad weather in the near future. Jobie had come out on Thursday evening stated that the crew would be out the following day. My husband had asked that he not come out due to the inclimate weather that was pending. Jobie's crew showed up anyway. After moving our trampoline to the back of the yard along with our patio furniture, the gentlemen assured us that they would be able to finish the job even with the impending storms coming. Alas roughly an hour into the job downpour rains came. One limb of four trees had been removed. Tons of sticks and cigarette butts remained along with my trampoline not put back together. (normally not a huge deal, however being 8 1/2 months pregnant I could not replace the trampoline nor could I replace the table and chairs properly.) The crew stated they would return on Monday although Jobie said that they would not be coming Monday. After hearing this the crew stated oh we will be back here Monday, we started this first we will be back. Surprise! They did not show up. Then we were called at 7:15 am on Tuesday to see if they could come back and my husband once again mentioned the incoming rain. We were so upset at this point that we decided to cancel the service all together. Today I arrived home to find a bill for $202.83. So after I cleaned up my own yard, had a neighbor help my husband put our trampoline back together and table and chairs back and after numerous accounts of miscommunication, Jobie still decided that it would be appropriate to charge us for one branch removed. I will admit to an episode of miscommunication that was our error before we were even on their books, but I will not take fault in this business' inability to follow through. My husband actually made a very valid point today. Jobie could not get out here to complete the job or follow up throughout this process, however he was very quick to hand deliver a bill to our house the day after we cancelled.

It went well and I have since referred them to other people.

He did an excellent job. He was a little pricey but was timely. I first spoke with his wife, told her what I needed and from what I remember he was there immediately. He cut the trees and also trimmed them. He did also do a follow up about a year later to see if we needed more work done. He is a very personable guy that seemed to want to help. The crew foreman was also knowledgeable knowing what needed to be done.

They were professional, responsive and they came on time. Their pricing was reasonable and they also cleaned up very well after themselves. The only problem was that they did some minor damage to the lawn. Overall, I was satisfied with their service

We had a large tree/shrub removal project in our yard. Two of the trees were over 50ft tall and near power lines. It was a large and complicated job. I received at least 6 estimates all from Angie's List companies and Jobie's was the best value. Others gave a similar quote but didn't have the experience and heavy equipment Jobie had to do the job. He is certified to work near the power lines and had the right equipment and experience for our job. We were astonished with the number of people and amount of heavy equipment that showed up to do our job. It was truly amazing to watch them work. The guys were cordial and worked for more than 12 hours with minimal breaks. They did a great job with clean up after taking down the two large trees and several bushes and overgrowth. They ground the stumps and cleaned up all grindings, sawdust, etc. They also made sure we were satisfied before leaving. We were very happy with the job they and would highly recommend them. I would especially recommend them if you have a big and/or complicated job like ours.

They were very good. They fell down a little bit on tree trimming, although my understanding is that they will come back and do that in the spring. There is a decorative tree that they didn't have the equipment to get up high enough at the time they came out. They were punctual.

It was a positive experience. They were a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up very well after themselves. I would recommend them but they may be a little bit pricey side.

They were excellent. They were on time and very responsive from when I initially called them. They did their work quickly. They cleaned up the yard and took away the branches. I was totally satisfied. I would recommend them to others.

Service was expected around 10 a.m. with completion by 1 p.m.; however, they didn't show up until noon. I didn't get a call telling me they would be late or when they would be there. Apparently they had mechanical problems and two employees weren't available on the job site. Just two employees did the work. Considering they were down a couple employees, the two that did the work did a good job. I would have preferred a better job picking up debris, but I understand their limitations.

It was very good. We have used them before, which is one reason we called them back. I have referred them to other people because I have no problems with their service or their price.

They were able to be out right away and got both trees taken care of without doing any more damage. They did a great job and I would use them again.

Jobie came out and did estimate very quickly within a couple days of when I called. However, his estimate was 2 times higher than the next competitive bid. I went with another service that I found through Angie's list.

They did a very good job. Work was (almost) done the day they said. There was one small area from which the low lying shrub was missed. Jobie came out to see exactly what was missed. It did take a few phone calls, to get this removed, there was still confusion about what needed done. But they did remove the shrub. I would have given them all A's if this last bit had not taken more than a couple calls.

They were very prompt and courteous. They did everything like they said they would. They were very professional and truly cared about how we felt during the entire process. They came back a second time at no additional cost to trim some additional places. I just cannot say enough good things about this company. I would highly recommend them. They had a very reasonable price, as others were twice as much.

The 3 technicians were very professional and did a good job.
