Jet-Seal

They did okay. The quality was okay but I thought that the solution they used was a little thin and watery. I think that they should improve on the solution that they use. They have it graded like good, better, and best. When we are using a seal coat like that, we shouldn't have to do that every year. Luckily where we live at, the complex there did it this year also so a lot of the people at the complex got 2 or 3 coats on there. All in all, they were okay.

They did a nice job. They put on one coating which was fine because it was late in the year. They cleaned up the asphalt and marked it off a little rough and done. They didn't splatter it everywhere or get it on the garage door.

Provider worked VERY hard to schedule this, given all the rain we've had in Columbus. They came out, did the work, and it looks great.

Overall, the job was done in a timely manner and looks good. But there were two points of frustration in the process to get there... 1) when I bought the deal online, I requested they call to schedule service and that was ignored so I missed their emails for about 2 weeks - more annoying than detrimental though. 2) I owed additional money because my driveway exceeded the square footage in the Angie's list deal (which was totally fine). But the receptionist was insistent I provide a credit card over the phone right away (which I'd rather not) and a week after I sent a check I got a voicemail at 3pm on a Tuesday, the day before I was scheduled for service, saying that I needed to call and provide a credit card immediately for the additional payment or my appointment would be cancelled. Given I was at work and they close at 4pm everyday, I left a return voicemail explaining that they might want to check the mail again for that check. In the end, they did the work on the scheduled day but the experience was less than desirable because they were so difficult to work with and required, well, demanded pre-payment in full. It just seemed unnecessary. Why not just invoice me for the remaining balance like a normal company?

They came out, after a couple delays due to all the rain, and sealed my driveway. They patched a lot of cracks. I have more, but did not pay for this to be done at that time. The driveway looks good.

Outstanding; Even with 10 straight days of rain, and a substantial workload because of weather, the work was completed. Everyone in the office including the owner of company were polite and professional. The driveway looks good and I am pleased with the result. I do recommend and will use again in the future.

An absolutely beautiful job! Meticulously filled the cracks and completely sealed the entire driveway for $100. A great company with excellent employees and outstanding ownership. If you want the absolutely best job, these guys are it !!

Never showed up. Didn't call back. Very unprofessional

Called them to ask if they did small jobs and patch work. I have a small area behind the house that is about 8 x 8' that needed work. I had called a few other asphalt companies that were not interested in doing a small job like this. When I called Jet Seal I specifically asked if they did small jobs and they said yes. They said they would be out to do an estimate within 2 days. A week later I called and they said they were back up due to rain and they would get right on it. Another week passed and i called again. They left me a message basically saying that they were not having luck with scheduling their patching people and basically would not be doing the job. I waited 2 weeks for nothing and I am in the process of selling my home and the work needs to be down asap. Very upset about this service especially as they were recommended by a friend.

They arrived early walked me through what they were going to do and got to work. From arrival to job start was maybe 5 minutes. Very professional and accomidating of the other work going on at the property. They completed a massive amount of work in a day. There were three people that arrived. They began edging while one of them walked the areas with me and let me know the specifics(dry time etc). The three of them edged and blew off the driveways then filled all the cracks and finally sealed the driveways. At one point an elderly person drove through the area that they were working in as it is commonly used for a shortcut. I could hear them calling for her to stop. After she made tracks in there fresh work they went back and retouched up the whole area and were very professional about it. They will be rehired for sealing two to three years from now.

They were very efficient and thorough. It didn't take very long and the cleanup was wonderful. My husband is usually picky about how things are done, and he was really pleased with their job. I would recommend them.

There were shoddy areas and stains left. they explained to us that some of the driveway cracks were too wide, but they sealed over them anyway. Had they explained it to use before sealing the driveway, we would have paid extra to have them fix the larger cracks first. Along the edges there are spots and stains. It was cheap, but we would have gladly paid more to get a better result. Afterward, we sent Ted pictures of the stained/spotted areas that disappointed us. We never received a reply, accounting for the low mark in level of professionalism.

It looked that the boy was rather inexperienced. Anyway, the boy tried to seal the driveway under the guidance of the man. He only applied a very thin layer of asphalt on the driveway. I asked if it was enough, and the man said yes. But I could see the driveway was not sealed well. I then knew a mere sealing was not enough, so I asked the man if the driveway needed crack filling. He said no. After they left, in disbelief, I called the company and complained. A lady said that the two guys should have done the job. She also said if my driveway needed crack repair, they would tell me and do the job (at extra charges, of course, and I understand that). I stupidly trusted. them, because they are "professionals". However, just after several weeks, their "sealing" started to give away. After a couple months or so, my driveway has several long cracks, which should have been avoided if they had repaired the cracks. The weather didn't allow me to have repair.

Nothing. I cancelled order and was refunded. Angie's list will not leave me a lone so Im doing this review for nothing.

I purchased a big deal to have Jet Seal seal the blacktop on my driveway. They replied very quickly to the email I sent them and provided instant feedback on guidance as to when I could expect the work to be done. Since it was spring - they have to plan somewhat around cold weather and rain. The driveway looked very nice and I was pleased overall. My only minor issue would be that I told them if they saw cracks to feel free to fill them and charge me for it. There was no crack fill done and they did not charge me for it, but after the job was done I wondered if there should have been some done. I was not home when the work was completed so I could not ask them about it. He did advise me on the phone their criteria for determining if any needed to be done and the cracks that were / are there may have well been less than it. However, had I been there I might have asked them to go ahead and do it if it would not harm the driveway and if they thought it would prevent minor cracks from getting larger. That being said, I told them they could do the work without me there. And I definately would use them in the future and would recommend them to all my friends. Even without the crack fill it was very nice work and I am sure they used their best professional judgement when they decided not to do it.

I had never used Jet-Seal before and was looking for someone new. I looked on Angie's List and saw positive reviews for them. I called for an estimate and they were out the next day. We scheduled the work shortly after. It was done on-time and they did a great job.

Scheduling the appointment went fairly smoothly. They were good about being mindful of the landscaping.

After they applied the seal it rained about 30 minutes later and washed the sealant off and splattered the garage door. They said they would not charge me and reapply another coat. I felt they did the best they could so I still paid them. The next year I had another company do it and told them of my experience. They said their policy was to not charge, reapply AND paint the garage door because those things happen. Needless to say I'm staying with the current company. I never got around to painting my garage door so I still see that as a reminder of a bad business decision on my part.

They were on time. They were courteous and professional. They did a great job.

Jet-Seal was very flexible and worked with me since I have a longer driveway. The original big deal was $99, and the additional was for the length of my driveway and also cracks that needed fixed. They were very professional and timely. They completed they job just as they said they would. They did a great work and were easy to work with.

The treatment improved the texture of our driveway. The work has been holding up well since and they were careful not to damage the grass around the driveway. They offered a group rate in our neighborhood and scheduling the appointment was fairly easy.
