Feazel Inc

I initially called Feazel to take care of two shingles that blew off in high wind. Mike did a great job of assessing the condition of my roof. He came up with a great plan to fix a few areas that definitely needed repair. They called once to reschedule due to weather, but showed up promptly and did a great job. I was very impressed with the attention to detail as Brian replaced shingles. He obviously knew what he was doing and was very thorough.

We contacted Feazel and explained our situation, and they said they needed to wait until the old deck was off to come out and give us an estimate. They did not come out on the Thursday we had originally scheduled, and we called them to see what had happened. Apparently on Wednesday there was a major hailstorm in the area, so our appointment got bumped, though they had not informed us of this. We did get our estimate the next day. During our estimate they took a sample of our siding in order to match it, though they had installed the rest of the new siding 2 years previous. We were told there was a minimum amount of siding that they needed to order which was about 2-3 times what was needed for the job. We elected to keep the extra siding, since we were paying for it. Mike Feazel scheduled the job for a Friday, but when we were called later to confirm the appointment, it had been moved to the next Tuesday. The actual job went well. You can hardly tell the new siding from the old.

Workers arrived later than we were told they would; instead of 9, they arrived at 11:30 when it looked like rain and no materials had been delivered which were to have been delivered by 9. They did not want to start work until sure materials were on way. Finally started around 12:30 when it looked like rain. Material arrived about 1:30 and it was raining. They had to cover some of roof with blue tarp and came back in two days when rain stopped. Work done satisfactorily after that, but never saw Production Manager till work done. Do not expect to get any senior discount.

NEVER SHOWED UP FOR APPOINTMENT, NEVER CALLED. THIS WAS ON RENTAL PROPERTY.

Can't say enough about how valuable the information we received from our sales person was. He was very knowledgeable. Would go as far to say that we would have paid a consulting fee to him, if need be to get his input. After his consultation we knew what to ask and expect from other bids. He had the disadvantage of not being the final bid and no opportunity to lower price. Last bid came down to meet his price with a longer warranty. Other reports from this site as well as BBB had a bearing.

Received excellent customer service. We were out of town for installation. Job looks great and there was no mess at all when we got home. The company was in constant touch with us via cell phone while we were away. Very impressive. The only problem we have is that we only got a one year warranty, which we feel is very short for such a large financial investment.

I had a horrible experience with Feazel Roofing. Their staff did not return my calls when work needed to be done. The work was not done in timely manner. They tried to add charges for work that was included in proposal. I accepted Feazel's proposal, and paid half of the estimate on 7/7/2002. The work was completed in OCT. 2005. The roof installed a month later than promised. The siding wasn't installed until Nov., and the painting was done in Jan. 2004. It took 5 months, and a letter to the owner to get 4 broken shutters, and a light that the painters took replaced. The roofers dropped a hammer through my roof, damaging my house fan. They did not tell me this happened. Painters sprayed on my chimney, cement block and left trash. They broke branches off my trees, despite charging for pruning. The siding crew broke 4 shutters, and attempted to hide the damage by hanging them behind shrubbery. The Accounting Dept. tried to bill me several times before the work was done.

THE WORKERS, ESPECIALLY ERIC AND RON, WERE PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. THE CUSTOMER REP, ANN, HAS ALWAYS BEEN QUICK TO RESPOND. AND MIKE FEAZEL CAME OUT TO INSPECT THE ROOF WHEN IT WAS FIRST INSTALLED. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT FEAZEL ROOFING AND RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT RESERVATION. IT IS A PLEASURE TO DO BUSINESS WITH SUCH AN HONEST AND CARING COMPANY.

THE ROOF LEAKED. THEY HAD TO COME OUT THREE SEPARATE TIMES TO FIX IT. WE HAD DRYWALL DAMAGE FROM THE LEAK IN THE GARAGE THAT IS STILL NOT FIXED AND THIS HAS BEEN MONTHS. WE FINALLY HEARD FROM THE DRYWALLER AND HE STILL HAS NOT BEEN OUT. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM THE PERSON IN THE OFFICE. I CALLED A COUPLE OF TIMES TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE DRYWALL AND SHE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I FEEL THAT THE DRYWALL WILL GET FIXED, IT IS JUST TAKING FOREVER. I THINK THE CREW WAS NOT VERY EXPERIENCED. I AM DISAPPOINTED THAT IT TOOK 3 TIMES TO COME AND FIX THE LEAK.

FEAZEL ORIGINALLY DID OUR ROOF 5 YEARS AGO. ONCE I MADE THE PHONE CALL TO THEM ABOUT THE LEAK, THEY HAD SOMEONE HERE THE NEXT DAY. THEY IMMEDIATELY SAW THE PROBLEM AND REPAIRED IT. THERE WAS NO CHARGE. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL FROM BEGINNING TO END. THE PRICE WAS AS STATED ON THE CONTRACT, AND IT WAS REASONABLE. GAVE ME A $269 ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT. I AM VERY ;EASED WITH THE WORK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I WAS MOST IMPRESSED WITH THEIR HONESTY. THE ROOFING JOB WAS EXCELLENT, THE CREW WAS EXCELLENT AND WORKED HARD!

THEY WORKED INTO THE NIGHT TO GET MY ROOF DONE BEFORE IT RAINED SO MY PIANO WOULD NOT GET WET. MY PIANO IS NOT REPLACEABLE.

WORK WAS DONE AS DESCRIBED. NOTIFIED ME OF DELAY IN SEALING GUTTERS DUE TO WATER IN GUTTER. FINISHED WITHIN THREE DAYS. NO LEAKS IN VENT STACKS OR GUTTER SEAMS.

I HAD THEM COME OUT AND LOOK AT A ROOF LEAK AND A DOWNSPOUT REPAIR. THEY SENT A TEAM TWICE AND THEY COULDN'T REPAIR THE JOB PROPERLY AND ACTUALLY ENDED UP CAUSING MORE LEAKS IN MY HOME. I CONTINUALLY HAD TO CALL THE SUPERVISOR ON THE JOB, WHO PUT ME OFF FOR THREE WEEKS UNTIL I FINALLY HAD TO CALL THE MANAGER WHO GOT THE JOB REDONE PROPERLY. AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE, THE MANAGER REDUCED MY OVERALL FEE. THE WHOLE JOB TOOK 5 WEEKS AND CAUSED ADDITIONAL INTERIOR REPAIRS TO BE NEEDED.

SUB-CONTRACTED SEVERAL OF THE JOBS WHICH I DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. TOOK OVER TWO MONTHS TO FINISH THE JOB, TOOK SEVERAL CONTACTS TO HAVE THE JOB FINISHED INCLUDING CONTACTS BY MY SON. THE DELAY WAS DUE TO THE SUB-CONTRACTING AND RESULTED IN SOME WATER IN THE BASEMENT. ALSO THE INTERIOR PAINTING WHICH WAS SUB-CONTRACTED WAS VERY POOR. ALL IN ALL ONLY ONE OF THE JOBS DONE WAS SATISFACTORY. THE ROOF WAS SATISFACTORY APART FROM MISSING DRIP EDGE ON ONE SIDE, SIDING WAS WELL DONE, INTERIOR PAINTING, WHICH WAS RECOMMENDED, WAS VERY POOR, EXTERIOR PAINTING, WAS VERY POOR, SIDE WALK WAS SATISFACTORY, SO THE WORK DONE BY ONE OF THE SUBS WAS SATISFACTORY. HE DID THE SIDING AND THE SIDEWALK.

I FOUND THIS COMPANY THROUGH THE GAF ROOFING WEB SITE WHERE IT STATED THAT THEY WERE AUTHORIZED TO INSTALL THESE TYPES OF SHINGLES. I SUBMITTED MY CONTACT INFORMATION TO THREE COMPANIES. TWO PHONED ME IN LESS THAN AN HOUR, BUT I NEVER HEARD FROM FEAZEL.

WE HAD A FEW FITS AND STARTS BETWEEN SIGNING THE CONTRACT AND THE START OF THE JOB. HOWEVER, WHEN THE CREW STARTED, WHEN FINALLY PROMISED, THE WORK WENT QUICKLY. THE JOB WAS CLEANED UP AS THEY WENT. THE RESULT WAS EXCELLENT. WOULD HAVE THIS COMPANY BACK FOR ADDITIONAL WORK, AS NEEDED.

JEFF CORNETT WAS VERY POLITE AND GENUINELY COMMITTED TO MAKING SURE WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE WORK PERFORMED. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND BRIAN WHO DOES THE PAINTING; HIS WORK ETHIC AND QUALITY DO NOT MATCH WITH THE OTHER WORK FEAZEL DID.

EXCELLENT SERVICE ALL AROUND, EVEN IN PUTTING UP WITH OUR TERRIBLE MORTGAGEE.

I WAS AMAZED HOW QUICKLY THEY HAD MY ROOF FINISHED, LESS THAN 24 HOURS. THEY ALSO WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT MATCHING BIDS I RECEIVED FROM OTHER COMPANIES. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT.

WE WERE GENERALLY VERY SATISFIED WITH THEM. NO COMPLAINTS.

ALWAYS USE A ROOFING COMPANY THAT HAS AN ESTABLISHED NAME IN THE COMMUNITY SO THAT WHEN YOU NEED SERVICE SUCH AS THIS THEY WILL BE AROUND TO FUFILL THE WARRANTY WORK. I USED FEAZEL ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF A FRIEND AND AM PASSING ALONG MY RECOMMENDATION VIA ANGIES LIST.

WE WERE REALLY PLEASED WITH THEM. THEY USED A MAGNET TO FIND ANY NAILS IN THE YARD. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE TO A CONCERN WE HAD.

THERE WAS NO LAZINESS, NO LEAVING THE PROJECT, JUST A CONTINUATION OF ORDER AND NEATNESS UNTIL DAYLIGHT WAS AT A MINIMUM. THEY RETURNED THE NEXT MORNING FOR FINAL DETAILS. MY SALES REP. MADE A FEW MISTAKES AT FIRST, BUT HAD ENOUGH INTEGRITY IN HIM TO APOLOGIZE FOR HIS ERRORS. THIS SAYS A LOT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER THAT HE MADE THIS A PRIORITY, PLUS IT SHOWS HOW MUCH HE CARES ABOUT THE COMPANY REPUTATION, HIMSELF AND ME. I AM VERY THANKFUL I DID BUSINESS WITH THEM.
