Description of Work: Had a sudden leak in our kitchen - the faucet quit - Eaton Plumbing came to the rescue and installed a new faucet. Chad was clean,knowledgeable, and negotiable~according to my husband, CHAD was very competent and very nice. The work resulted in our complete satisfaction.

Description of Work: I needed some galvanized water piping replaced and had Eaton Plumbing come out to look at the work that needed to be done. The gentlemen that came out was very nice, didn't try to up sell me and tried to keep the work down to a minimum. However, it has now been a week since that appt and I have not received an estimate for the work and would like to have this done as soon as possible before my tenants move in. All other aspects were good, I am just waiting on the estimate.

average. Learned what to ask next time
Description of Work: Conpany and plumber was very professional HOWEVER, they do not have a drain snake long enoough or big enough fo a main drain. So basically I spent $85 for them to attempt to clean out the drain. THey did say they will return to reset the toilet if needed for $45 once the drain problem is fixed. In the future I will ask if they are equiped to clean out a main drain first. They did Recommend Drain Busters for this, However the $10 discount off of the $185 is for the 1st hour only is pretty small.

Susan called about my request immediately and was very helpful. She answered my questions. Burt was very nice and called early in the days since he had some extra time to spare but unfortunately I was at work. I thought it was very nice. Burt was able to get the handle off and replaced it with a new one. He changed the cartridge which was old and it no longer drips. Excellent job!
Description of Work: My faucet in the shower was leaking and we had a difficult time trying to fix it ourselves. Thus, I needed a plumber. The handle where the screw is to get to the washer was stuck.

The service rep was scheduled to arrive between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. After a phone call to me, he arrived early, and within 15 minutes had completed the job and was on his way. He was very customer oriented checking to see if I needed anything else. I have some other work that needs attention and will call Eaton Plumbing to do it.
Description of Work: In preparation for a new dryer I had to have my current dryer, which is gas, disconnected and have installed a permanent cap on the gas line.

Our disposal had been making "funny" noises for months when it finally completely locked up. We called another plumbing company, but they were too busy to handle our little job. So they recommended Eaton Plumbing. After quickly reviewing them on Angie's List we gave him a call. He responded quickly and came out that day to look at the job and provide a quote. He was able to complete the work the following day for us and it went smoothly and without any problems. We're having him give us some quotes on bigger jobs now.

Even though these were small jobs, the plumbers were excellent, very professional and left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Both the sump pump and garbage disposal have worked perfectly since they installed them a number of years ago. They're a little on the pricey side, but I'd call them again in a heartbeat. They are excellent and I've referred them to anyone who is in need of a plumber.
Description of Work: I've used Eaton Plumbing on two separate occasions. First to replace my sump pump and second to install a new garbage disposal.

Excellent, called them after I was referred by another plumber who couldn't make it out soon enough. They scheduled me for the next day but called back that afternoon and said they had time to come then. Chet came in and right away was able to determine the problems and had the parts to fix both issues. He was done in 1/2 hour which was also great!
Description of Work: We had water in our basement and next to our sump pump and a toilet that wasn't filling properly. He fixed the switch on our sump pump and replaced a part on a toilet

It was a small job and done quickly. I was impressed because Chet came in and knew what needed to be done, did it, and didn't waste any time so I did not have additional charges for his time. I will be using them again for additional work.

Disconcerting. I was never rude or obnoxious, even when he basically called me a liar. I don't understand the type of we vs. them customer service mentality. When I explained that as a consumer I felt I'd been taken, he didn't seem to care about any sort of feedback that could be beneficial to his company; like maybe his staff should explain to the customer that they're going to permanently alter their pipes BEFORE actually doing it. And explaining that they probably don't have the tools to remove a nut from a cartridge before making the trip. Ultimately I believe they never planned to fix my fawcett--much more money in replacement than repair. The only good thing about this experience is that I found a great new plumber who actually does what he says he can and charges a reasonable rate for it. I'm glad others had a better experience, but I wouldn't gamble on this one.
Description of Work: I made an emergency call on a bathtub fawcett over the weekend. The plumber agreed to come out making no mention that it might need to be replaced, so I agreed to the emergency fees. He came out and claimed he could not remove the nut on the cartridge and told me I needed a new shower valve. He then asked me to turn the water main on/off while he checked the pipes to the tub. I didn't realize that he was actually cutting them. Then he told me hid did not have the tools to replace the valve either. I wasn't happy but I paid with expectation it would be fixed Monday but they had no one who could come and offered to refer me to a different plumber. I found another plumber myself on this site who repaired the fawcett and re-connected the pipes. Called Max Eaton again for adjustment or refund of some of my expense. He refused, said their plumber gave them a different story and when I objected asked me if I was calling his plumber a liar. Just filed with BBB.

Extremely pleased, he very quickly replaced the faulty part with a new part. Of course we paid extra for the after hours call, but it was a better price than all others that we called (most were not even available). Chet did the work for us, and was very friendly and explained all of our options. He even went out to his truck and found an extra face-plate and faucet handle that he threw in, at no charge. We will definitely use again!
Description of Work: Replaced a bathtub faucet cartridge on a Saturday. The cartridge had blown, and we could not turn off the water, without shutting off the main. We didn't want to be without water all weekend, so we needed an after-hours call.

KENNY ANSWERED THE CALL. VERY PERSONABLE AND VERY METHODICAL - WHICH DOES MAKE YOU A LITTLE NERVOUS WHEN BEING CHARGED BY THE HOUR. I REQUESTED THEM TO COME OUT AND REPLACE ALL OF THE INSIDES OF TWO TOILETS, BUT THEY FOUND THAT THE RUBBER STOPPERS WERE THE ONLY PROBLEM SAVING ME TIME AND MATERIALS. THEY ALSO ATTEMPTED A NUMBER OF CORRECTIONS FOR THE LEAKY FAUCET BEFORE FINALLY REPLACING IT. I FOUND THEM VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND I FELT THAT I HAD THE JOB DONE AT THE LEAST POSSIBLE COST. THEY SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT THE FOLLOWING DAY (WHICH OTHERS WERE NOT ABLE TO DO) AND ARRIVED AN HOUR EARLIER THAN THEIR ESTIMATE.
