Drain Busters

The entire job was performed very professionally. The technician was right on time and was very courteous throughout. Explained what the problem was and answered all my questions.

Went down to the basement and found a pool of water where one should not have been. Called in the afternoon, service tech arrived next morning as agreed. Took about 30 minutes to complete the job. Tech opened the drain, cleaned up, gave me some helpful advice, and moved on to his next appointment.

They were on time and cost was as expected. They are very professional. I have used them before and would definitely hire them again.

Called at 8am. By 1pm the same day, they were at my house. Half hour to complete the job. Would highly recommend and hire again.

They cleared the line and pulled out a bunch of gravel. They recommended another provider to install an alternate drain line if we continued to have problems. Very professional and polite.

It went very well. Tommy had enough experience to recognize that my situation might be solved easily. He called and had me check the manufacturer name of the original faucet and said that if we get lucky, he'd be able to simply replace the "guts" without any additional effort required. When he began the job, unfortunately he discovered that the way I broke the faucet it ended up stripping the threads on the pipe body instead of the usual way on the handle shaft. In spite of this set back Tommy began the job in the difficult location and successfully completed the job in a competent fashion. He used the brand with the replaceable guts, so if it breaks again, it should be an easy fix. Once finished, I was satisfied. He had my problem fixed and it cost less than a third of what another plumber estimated. He did warn that if you need an immediate fix, he's a busy guy so you might have to wait a little. Otherwise, he is now my first call when I need a plumber.

Great! Sam used the camera to determine what if any work needed to be done. He found minimal roots and disposed of them quickly. He copied the before and after video to a flash drive and answered my many questions thoroughly. I greatly appreciated that none of his answers included recommendations for additional unnecessary services. Drain Busters has all the tools to resolve simple and complex problems but they only sell you the service you need. Living in German Village I have heard many stories from neighbors using other companies where a simple cleaning turned into a nightmare. They were upfront and clear on pricing when I initially called, prompt in arrival, very knowledgeable and conscientious in clean up. The final bill reflected what I was told upfront and very reasonable.

The repair person was effective and knowledgeable, cleaning out the clog and telling me how to avoid them in the future. They were prompt and friendly.

Great! We were able to get a next day appointment. They arrived on time and called a half hour before to give us a heads up. The work was done quickly and price was reasonable. Service technician was very friendly. I would definitely use them again.

The tech showed up 2 hours late, which I understand happens since jobs can take longer than expected but it would have been nice to know he was running behind since I had to leave work early. I showed the tech the issue and explained I had already tried using a hand auger. He started the shower to double-check the clog and started working on the drain with a larger hand auger. He must have been in a hurry from being late and used too much force because he pushed the drain pipe down and the water from the shower floor start leaking through my light fixture on the 1st floor onto my kitchen table. When I told him about the water coming through the ceiling, he packed up his stuff, didn't offer to help clean the water, didn't write up anything, said the drain pipe wasn't mounted correctly and that I had to hire a plumber and left very quickly. A few minutes after he left, 4 very noticeable water marks showed up on our ceiling below. To his defense, whoever originally installed the plumbing below the drain didn't mount it correctly. But in speaking to the tech from the company who ultimately fixed the issue (in about 15 minutes), the Drain Buster tech should have known better than to use as much pressure as he did on the kind of plumbing we have and the water going through was their fault. I won't be using this company again. The whole encounter felt very shady and now I have a 700 sq foot ceiling that needs to be painted.

EXCELLENT!!! This is the best plumber BY FAR we have ever used. The gentlemen at this company are always friendly and very knowledgeable. They do what is required. I wouldn't hire anyone else.

5-6 weeks later the drain backed up again on a Sunday morning. Drain Busters isn't open on the weekends. I left a message waited a bit and then called another company. The other company came out and snaked the drain. Jason called me back, said he would make it right and sent me a check to cover the fee charged by the other company. I had the check in three days and not just for the cost but also for the weekend up charge too. We were blown away! I cannot say enough good thing about Jason's integrity. We will totally be using them in the future!

I had back-up and standing water. I called, and Sam was here within 15 minutes. he worked hard and efficiently until the back up was clear, then showed me the problem we have on his camera screen. we have used them before in the past, and they are highly professional, thorough and work with integrity. I highly recommend Drain Busters to everyone.

My main sewer drain line was stopped up. I called Drain Busters at 8 AM on Christmas Eve day and left a message. Jason returned the call within 2 minutes. I told him the problem and he said that they were closing early for Christmas but that he would have someone out to take care of it. Ian came out and Jason also showed up to help. In Old Westerville no situation is 'normal' and my home definitely fits in. My main line apparently has a few abnormalities to it, but after a lot of work they finally got it open. I can not thank them enough for getting this taken care of before a long holiday weekend! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Drain Busters and would not hesitate to use them again!

I called Jason and he patiently listened to my tale of woe with the "Rescue" company. We paid the "Rescue" company $450 for an emergency sewer line cleaning (with a 1 yr warranty), only to have the line back up again two weeks later. When the "Rescue" company returned, they tried to sell us on a 10ft sewer line replacement, telling us our line was "infested" with a root ball and they weren't able to clear it with regular methods. The line replacement would have involved cutting through our cement driveway and removing landscaping. Since the estimate was for $5K, and that's not small change for our family, we called Drainbusters for a second opinion. Ian from Drainbusters came out to our house on time, again patiently listened to the tale of woe, and got right to work. He camera-ed the line and said there was no reason why a company could not clear the root infestation with regular methods. In his opinion, the line did not need replaced. He called Jason to discuss the best options for my situation. Ian offered to give me a flash drive of the sewer line video for proof to the "Rescue" company that they did not clear the line as promised for the original $450 payment. He also offered to clear the line himself for $150, and a free camera inspection afterwards to confirm clearing, if I decided not to deal with the original company anymore or if they refused to remediate the situation. Armed with the flash drive, I confidently confronted the "Rescue" company and was ultimately successful in getting them to come out the same day and (finally!) successfully clear the line using the big teeth root cutter machine that they should have used to begin with. Thank you, Jason and Ian, for your honesty and professionalism. I will definitely use Drainbusters for the future maintenance of my sewer line.

He discovered that it was blocked by dirt- a rare situation where his equipment would not do the job. He said no charge. I asked are you sure and he said no. Integrity !!! I would use them again in a heart beat.

Both kitchen sinks (an island sink and the kitchen counter wall sinks) became clogged the Sunday after Thanksgiving so I called my regular plumber to get on his schedule. After being told my plumber couldn't get to me until Thursday, I decided to find a drain company on Angie's List. I picked Drainbusters based on the positive reviews. I immediately called them and they scheduled an appointment for the same day. Hooray! They called 30 minutes before their anticipated arrival time just as they had promised when I made the initial appointment. Chad arrived and was very professional and polite. He entered our crawl space to inspect how the drains were tied in to the main line before determining which drain to mechanically snake. He also checked the commode to rule out any other issues. He cleared my kitchen sink drains and gave me an Angie List's member's discount.

The service provided by Drain Busters was excellent. The work was thorough, the price was very fair and the professionalism was outstanding. I had met with a big, nation-wide drain cleaning service who was slow to provide service, ready to do the work at a much higher cost, and quick to sell services that it turns out (thanks to Drain Busters) I learned I did NOT need. Drain Busters provided professional work and honest advice. They delivered the service I needed. Thanks to Drain Busters, I was saved hundreds of dollars in unnecessary expense.
