Drain Busters

I was able to make an appointment the next morning after I called to make an appointment which happened to be a Saturday. Sam snaked our floor drain in the basement to solve our water backup problem. He also gave us some ideas to help prevent the problem in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to call them back if I needed my drain busted in the future.

He was very quick, thorough, and told me what he was going to do and how much it would be before he did it. I also got a 6 month warranty. He did not make a mess.

Fantastic. Great work. Great guys. Jason sent for Sam to bring a replacement sump pump and he was there in minutes. When I called, I said it was not a priority call, yet he got to the house within the hour of my phone call. Very polite and knowledgeable.

Arrived about an hour after called, explored all possibilities.

Great. Called Jason at 9am. He was here by 10, one by 10:30. Really polite and efficient. Gave me a lot of helpful advice and information. Drainbusters was listed first on Angie's List and I can see why. I recommend the company with no reservations. Very happy.

Drain Busters was able to schedule a same-day appointment, which was very nice. I asked them to call me before they got to my house so I could come home from work and let them in, and they did. The job was done very quickly and pleasantly. I'll definitely use them again.

The repair person was very, very nice. I appreciate them coming. In the past I have had companies that were not great. Thank you for recommending them.

Jason arrived in a timely fashion and promptly cleared the clog in the sewer line. He diagnosed it as tree roots and a possible line shift at the city main connection. When asked if we should have him use his pipe camera to check the line, he said it wasn't necessary - we appreciated his honesty on this since it would have added to the bill substantially. He was unable to clear the smaller drain. We think the drain is simply not a functional drain anymore, but he gave it his best shot.

Jason is very nice, however, he couldn't find anything wrong. He said that he checked all the lines and could find no leak. He charged for a service call and no discount applied for Angie's List unless the cost was over $50. My husband later found that the drainage tube from the water softener had fallen from the pipe into which it emptied. We simply put the fallen tube back into the drainage pipe and the leak stopped. I was a bit concerned that Jason did not check for simple solutions like that. The good news is that we were able to find the problem before too much damage occurred to our basement.

Not even one problem. I called on 2/8/07, talked to Jason, explained that water backed up and on the floor when the washer drained. Jason said they could be out that afternoon if I would be home. Jason's brother Sam made the call. I had said to both Jason and Sam that 8 or 9 years my father had to have the main drain cleared of roots. Sam could have cleaned the main and the floor drain, this would have resulted in a much higher bill. He said he would clean out the shorter drain first, lucky for me that opened up the drain. It has been 2 weeks and everything is working just fine.

Our kitchen drain was clogged so my husband and I took apart the pipes underneath to clear it. We could not clear it and when we put the pipes back together, they leaked! I left Drain Busters a message late evening on their office line and they called me back later that same evening and scheduled an appointment for the following morning. They did a great job cleaning out the the drain and found our error with a backwards washer in putting our pipes back together. They were very friendly and easy to work with. Great job!

Great! We called Jason and told him what we suspected. He said he would have to come a different day when it wasn't raining due to the nature of our issue. When he came out the next day, I explained I may have a clog in one of my drains leading to the street and we thought this may be causing our gutter to back up, thus possibly causing a leak in the roof. So we wanted to check this out first. He quickly put a hose down the downspout and checked the street for flow. We found that it was running clearly. He then gave me suggestions for what may be causing the overflow and also suggested possible service companies that he knows. Overall he stayed about a 1/2 hour and was polite and courteous. He did not charge me even for coming out, since he was in the area, and no work was performed.

Fantastic. On time, courteous, completely finished the job and was clean.

I called at 8 in the evening expecting to leave a message for the next day. They answered the phone and I set up an appointment for early the next morning. Sam showed up on time and was knowledgeable and efficient. The pipe under my kitchen sink was loose and leaks sometimes, he fixed that for me as well.

He did an excellent job and was very responsive. He was willing to come out the day of my call but worked around our schedules for the following morning.

The Sayre brothers were polite on the phone and in person, quick to respond, and seemed to do good work. I will know for sure, if the problem has been corrected if it does not reoccur.

I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone. Both men were very professional and worked hard to clear the drain pipe. Chuck was here for almost three hours, and the owner for almost an hour, so I was amazed that the cost was only $175 (with Angie's List discount). They also cleaned the mess up in the basement completely!

They were very prompt in returning my call and came out about an hour later. I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience! When I initially called Drain Busters and describe the problem, Jason suggested a solution over the phone, before coming to the house and told me to call him back if the problem still persisted. Well, it did, so I phoned Jason and he scheduled the service call for the same day and was even early! He persevered until he found the source of the odor. I was delighted!

I called them at 8 AM on a Monday and they were here by 10:30 AM. Spent almost 2 hours rooting and cleaning drains. Very thorough.

Price: Unbelievable, thanks! Responsiveness: Left message, called returned in 10 minutes. Oops: We asked that they call before they stop by as there was no appointment time. They forgot to call. BUT Sam recognized his error and apologized for failing to do so. Professional: Clean, polite, explained what he was doing. OVERALL: We're really happy with Drain Busters and the entire experience!

They were on time, very pleasant, and helpful. Gave advice and answered questions politely. In addition to snaking out debris, he retrieved the floater part of a check- valve. Very professional. I would call again in a "New York second" for help with my drain.

Both Jason and Sam were very polite. Once they got into the tub drain it turned out to be a complicated job, but they were creative and found a way to remove the clog. We are very happy with their work. I called them at 9:00 this morning and they arrived before noon.
