Drain Busters

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND CAME OUT ON TIME. WE HAVE USED THEM A FEW TIMES BEFORE AND WE REALLY LIKE THEM.

They called first to tell me they were on their way. They arrived on time and were very polite. I live in a neighborhood with a lot of trees and they have grown thru the sewer tiles and periodically block the line. Over the past 20 years, I've had several companies here to clear the sewer line. They used their electric snake with a cutter blade to clear the sewer line from the clean out in my basement. I also asked them to use their camera so I could see the type of damage within the line from my house to the city sewer. They cleaned out the line and pulled out numerous tree roots, and cleared the line completely. They even tracked the sewer line so I knew whether it joined the city sewer in the front of my property or the back. They also answered all questions and were extremely helpful. We discussed several options to keep the line clear from now on. They even used a cleaner on the basement floor to clean up the spill from the clean out plug.

Late on a Friday morning I discovered a sewer line backup in our basement. I called the company we have used previously for this type of service and was told that they couldn't send anyone out until Monday. As I did not want to spend the weekend in a hotel, I consulted Angie's List and found Drain Busters. They answered the phone when I called and said they could be there after lunch (about 1 pm). I agreed. About 15 minutes later they called back and said they could come right away. The worker arrived, cleared the clog, and I was on my way back to work by 1 pm.

The technician returned my call and arrived at my house in less than an hour. Work was completed promptly. The technician answered all of my questions and helped me understand how the drainage system is configured.

Excellent. Highly recommended. Explained what he was doing at all times, what the charges would be, and what my options were, allowing me to decide. Jason is a great guy. The company is just him and his brother-I like dealing with a small company for plumbing needs. They just seem to be a lot more personable and take an interest in the job completing successfully. He was expensive, but no more so than any other plumbing company I have dealt with in the past.

Sam was extremely punctual and pleasant as always. Since he didn't have to root out the drain, he didn't charge us, not even for the service call. It seems he is as loyal to us as we are to him!

Awesome job. This gentleman is prompt, considerate and did good work. Most of all, I have had the big companies in my home in the past and he is not only cheaper, he is hands down a better company and man to do business with. If needed, I will call again.

Arrived on time. Found the problem quickly and opened my drain. He was very professional and competent.

As usual, Jason was very prompt and professional. They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner.

They first checked on a slow running sink in the upstairs bathroom and then a leak at the cleaned cap of the main stack in the basement. In general water was running slow. They ran the camera and found some buildup along the sewer line and suggested it be cleaned. i agreed. No problems.

Jason answered the phone and was able to come to my home and take a look at the problem. He fixed it quickly, then tested it several times to make sure everything was in order. He was very professional, polite, and informative. I will definitely keep his number for any future needs.

Company rep was punctual and pleasant and started right in even though I was with another contractor. The drain would not clear but he kept trying even after breaking a tool. Apparently another contractor last year (my one and only non-Angie's list contractor) poured tile grout down the basement drain which has hardened and must be dug out. Jason worked well over an hour, but could not break through the as the trap was completely blocked. He did not charge any additional and showed me a bypass for the drain in lieu of a huge repair bill the a plumber could do fairly easily. An excellent company who I will always use again.

They agreed to do the job the same day I called. They called me 30 minutes before they arrived, so I could meet them at the house. He cleared the plugged drains in about 30 minutes and left the site cleaned up.

I like that they were quick to respond on the telephone. We had a clogged down spout and he pined pointed the trouble used camera to save me the time to figure out the problem. They found the problem with the camera. He came out before to snake the drain and told me that this time he won't charge to use the snake to clear the drain again he just will charge me for the camera.

Jason, was very nice/honest, and told me there was no reason to snake out the drains to the curb! I thought this would be needed, and was ready to pay to have it done. Jason, assured me that this was not needed. I would highly recommend him!

He did his work very professionally and fast. He worked for over an hour, the roots were stubborn.He was a very nice young man.

Overall, I was satisfied. Regarding responsiveness, it did take a few days for them to get back to me; I'd probably chalk it up to a near weekend call with a message stating it was non-emergent. Once they did call first thing Monday, it was done that morning - everything taken care of via phone - which was very convenient. Angies list discount brought the price into a reasonable range.

They did an excellent job, and got the drain open in less than a half hour. They were very pleasant over the phone. We had to reschedule our appointment and were pleasantly surprised to find them available via phone outside of their hours of business.

Sam came out and very quickly figured out the problem. It was so simple, I couldn't believe that nobody else figured it out. The hole that blows water into the toilet was getting filled with corrosion. Sam scraped it out with a piece of a coat hanger. He only charged $40 (a service call) since it turned out to be a small problem. The toilet flushes great now. I definitely recommend this company and will call them again if I need them.

Even arrived a few minutes early, very courteous! Talked a little bit about problems that can arrive to clog/slow the drain. Would definitely hire again.

Excellent job. It didn't take him long. I only left a message but I told him I needed it done that day as it had been overflowing onto the patio. He showed up and took care of it professionally.

Our upstairs bathtub had been draining very slowly and we couldn't figure out the problem. Liquid Plummer didn't work. Even my father-in-law, a former plumber, couldn't fix it even after partially taking apart the pipes. It just kept getting worse and worse until we had to do something. After reading the review in Angie's List, we called Drain Busters hoping they could come out in a day or two. Just a few minutes after I left a message, they called back and said they could have someone out within an hour. Sure enough, Sam came about a half-hour later. He was courteous and after trying a couple things was able to get to the root of the problem. A cap had gotten stuck in the drain and he was able to get it out. The next time we have a problem like this, there's no doubt who we'll call.
