Drain Busters

I have used this company before and would recommend them in a heartbeat. They are honest, helpful, and courteous. They give a discount to Angie's List members, too. Sam and Jason are the best.

They did excellent work and the piping was clear when they went to take a look. They had to go in through the sewer line in the garage. It must have taken him two hours to complete this. Their pricing was reasonable and they are very honest.

Jason met me promptly and on time. He overcame some idiosyncratic obstacles in my drain line to get his camera in, located the weed blockages, and clearly explained what we were seeing on the video images. He told me that he hoped he could get them out with a high pressure hose, but that otherwise the pipe would have to be dug up and cleaned or replaced. He used different nozzles and repeated tries and managed to get all the weeds out. Great job!

The only thing I was disappointed in was that Angie's List had it listed in the book that they took American Express and they said that they didn't accept American Express; that was the only disappointment I had. The service and everything was excellent. They came out when they said they would. The guy was very professional. I was satisfied with their service and will use them again in the future. I thought their price was pretty reasonable.

He came out within an hour and cleaned the drain. Very professional and courteous. He removed the roots from the drain. He did a good job and I received a good service. The price seems a little high, but he knew what he was doing and did it well, so Im ok with that.

I called Tuesday morning to get an estimate to check into a plugged pipe for our toilet, which a plumber was unable to fix the prior week. Jason called me back within 2 hours and was down the street from my house at the time. He was able to stop by in between another appointment to see if he could help with the drain. He was able to figure out that it wasn't a drain issue, but a venting issue with the toilet - something the plumber last week couldn't figure out. While it wasn't something that they could personally fix, he did recommend another plumber to come out and help us get this resolved. I was so happy that he was able to come out the same day I called, and he only charged us for the visit. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again in the future if needed.

I would have used them if necessary

The problem occurred on a Sunday night. I left a voice mail early in the morning on Monday and received a call back 20 minutes later. Sam was at my house 4 hours later and fixed the problem.

He was on time, got right to work, and didn't make a mess. He did not try to sell me any specialty drain cleaners. I liked that. I have had Roto Rooter and Rescue Rooter before and they try to sell you chemicals.

They showed me what to do if clog occured again and discounted the price for the time required. They are and will continue to be my 'go to' for all plumbing.

Got it open in 10 -15 minutes, did not take long. They were very good.

I called for service on a Monday morning and within three hours Sam came to my house to fix the problem. I appreciated the quick service especially with there being some flooding. Sam did a great job and cleaned up when he was done. I would highly recommend using Drain Busters for these types of situations.

I was amazed how fast they fixed the problem, and it was much less expensive than i thought it was going to be.

He returned phone calls and showed up when he said he would. He explained to me what he tried to do to open the drain.

I called them about 11 this morning, they returned my call by 11:15 and promised to be here between 12:15 and 12:30. He arrived, had the drain cleaned and everything cleaned up by 12;20. That's impressive service!

After finding evidence of a sewage backup in our basement we called Drain Busters and they said they could come out that day. They showed up a few hours later and took care of the problem (tree roots blocking the pipe) within 30 minutes.

Called several companies on Sunday and the only one who said they would come wanted almost $300.00. One called back at 10pm for $200, but at that point we figured we might as well wait for Monday.

Very well. Nice guy. I'd use them again.

Sam was great. He told me how to clear some drains myself so I wouldn't have to call them again. Quick and easy. Thanks!

My shower drain was clogged. Sam came out and cleared the clog using his special equipment. He was careful about not creating a mess. He was able to clear the clog. The pipes are the old metal, I think, iron pipes. At the time I also had a downspout on the side of the house which drained into a buried line which went out to the street. This always backed up. Sam attempted to open the spout both from where it entered the ground near the house and also from the street side, but he was unable to open it. He only charged me for the shower drain which was $95.00 minus a $10.00 Angie's list discount. Later when I dug up the downspout drain I discovered that the two pipes, one from the street and one from the house were never connected. It was missing about 10 feet of pipe.

Another company in the area would have been $220. Drainbusters was $144 w/ coupon. They got the job done. Then I asked them to investigate some other problems I have with the basement sanitary drain backing up and this was all done for the same price.

They called me back promptly, showed up when they said they would, and did the job. I've used them for a number of jobs and they've always done a good job. I wish their price wasn't so high, though.

Jason was able to come out 10/07 the same or next day to unclog the drain. He explained to us what was happening with the drain, unclogged it, and gave recommendations for basement waterproofing (a problem we were having due to the drain). 6/08 we had the same problem again. Jason came out the same or next day. This time he used a camera to see why the drain was clogging again. He showed us where the pipe was crushed and where roots were growing in. He recommended replacing the drain. He gave us many ideas of how to fix it ourselves if we desired. That day in 6/08, he continued to work on our drain during a long downpour. We very much appreciated his ability to get to us as quickly as he did, he was very professional and very knowledgeable. I'm not sure how his prices compare to other companies. 10/07 he was the only one of several companies that I called that answered the phone AND could get to us within 24 hours. He was the only one I called on 6/08. Highly recommended!!

The experience was good with them. They provided friendly service that was prompt and on time. I would hire them again in the future to do more work.
