Drain Busters

After my garbage disposal started backing up into the other side of the sink, I noticed that the floor drain in the basement was backed up causing standing water in our basement, and one of the pipes along the wall was leaking (leaving the wall and floor wet). Then our washing machine emptied onto our laundry room floor. I first called RotoRooter who came out, assessed the problem, decided that I would need the floor drain and the pipe snaked, and they gave me an estimate of over $450. I decided to shop around, as that price seemed very high. After reading the great reviews of Drain Busters on Angies List, I called them this morning at 8 am. By 9:30 they were here, and by 10:30 the problem was solved. Sam (Drain Busters) snaked both the drain and the pipe, tested everything to make sure it was working, and was professional, prompt, and courteous. The cost was $132 which was far more reasonable. I will be calling Drain Busters again should I run into further problems -- they are a great company.

I contacted Drain Buster on the morning of November 8th and left a voice mail. My phone call was returned within 10 minutes and work was scheduled between 12:00 and 2:00 that day. I requested that it would work out best for me if they could arrive closer to 2:00. He stated that he would call ? hour before prior to arrival. I was contacted at 1:45 which worked out well for both parties as he was in the area finishing another job. He arrived promptly at 2:00. The main house sewer drain cleanout was access and the drain was cleaned and tree roots removed. In addition the cap to the cleanout was replaced. The work was completed and work area cleaned within 1 hour. It worked out perfect?no fuss and no muss on my part!

They were well recommended. They did a very good job at a reasonable price. They did it efficiently and they provided quick service, which is important when you have a drain problem in your basement. They gave me a ten percent Angie's List discount. They were prompt, competent and provided good service quickly. They were very straightforward about what they did and did not do and what they knew and didn't know. They were easy to communicate with. They were very good.

I called Drain Busters Monday morning. I explained I had an opthalmalogist appointment late morning and asked if they could come in the afternoon after 2 o'clock. He said they could. When I got home at 1:45 I phoned to leave a message saying I was back. Shortly after that I got a call from Sam who said he was on his way. He got right to work and replaced the pipe that burst and cleared the drain. I was very satisfied with the work and the price.

I tried fixing the kitchen drain with what ended up being a gallon of Drano. It allowed the water to seep out but it was still clogged after an hour. I went to Angie's list and sorted on "Honors" and saw that Jason's company had the most number of reports and that out of the 78 current reports, there was only one that wasn't an "A". After reviewing the only non-A, I saw that it was a scheduling issue and figured if there were scheduling problems, I would just find another Honors Angie's list provider. There was no need to worry. Jason showed up on time and fixed the kitchen sink. I asked him to take a look at the sump pump and after discussing some options (like, buying a new sump pump myself and then installing it), I figured, like most home improvement projects, it ends up being a bigger job than initially anticipated. Jason had another scheduled job in Dublin and Bexley. Along the way, he picked up the new pump and installed it. Both jobs were done by 4:00pm even though I called about 9am the same day.

They charged me about $250. They were efficient, professional, and friendly. The guy?s name was Sam. He was the service technician and he was excellent. I will use them again in the future.

It went well, everything looks good to me, I have no complaints.

I tried to clean out the tubs myself with a long claw-like thing. I don't use chemicals because they are a TERRIBLE pollution source for our water resources. I couldn't clean them out so I called Drain Busters. They came the next day. NO chemicals, just mechanical de-clogging machine. Awesome results. Done in 15 minutes. Thanks!

They were very professional. They got the job done quickly. I would use them again if I needed to.

I called another company to make the repair and when they dug up the spot previously marked by Sam there was no drain line in sight. I called Sam and Jason back and described the situation. They came out immediately to assess the situation. They ran the camera again and found the blockage to be in the same spot. The simple solution to the problem was not digging deep enough. I was pleasantly surprised when they both came out to deal with my problem. They are honorable businessmen and I would highly recommend them.

Why do you insist on a work date when no work was done? Why must I enter how much I spent when no work was done and nothing was spent? Please rethink your website.

I called Drain Busters at 7:00 a.m. and got a call back before 8:00 a.m. from Jason. I told him I had a class until 11:00 and would not be home until 11:30 a.m. He said he could have someone here between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. At 11:25, I got a call from Sam who said he would be at my house in just a few minutes and he was. He knew exactly what the problem was, fixed it, checked everything out and cleaned up after himself. I will use these guys EVERY TIME I need a plumber now. And they have a coupon which saved me a little money. Gotta like that!

I called Drain Busters early on a Monday, and Jason returned my call within an hour. He offered to come to my home immediately, but I was away at the time and we scheduled a time for him to come out the next morning. He arrived during the appt window and listened to me explain my problem. Our sump pumps had been working overtime for the past week with a lot of rain and we noticied that where one of our gutters met the underground pipes, the water was spraying out when one the sump pumps drained. He said that he could run a camera through the pipes to try to locate the obstruction. He looked in 3 pipes and finally found that debris had gotten into it through the end that was placed further out into our yard. He dug up a portion of the pipe, cleaned it out, and replaced everything neatly. I am extremely happy with the service and Jason; he didn't mind me looking over his shoulder the whole time and asking questions. I will definitely use his company again, and have already recommended him to several friends since the service only a day ago! **Make sure you print out your AL coupon as I forgot to do this and did not receive as big of a discount as is advertised. I do not fault the company, but myself for missing this as I am usually pretty good at being prepared.

Our basement drain has been a problem for years. It had been unclogged before, but it remained slow. Lately it stopped entirely. Drain Busters came and he went the extra mile (or at least the extra feet). He pulled out a piece of rope and some netting the previous cleaners apparently missed. Now all is well. Thanks.

Jason was super. He arrived on time, worked on one drain that did not solve the problem and then cleaned out a second line but did not charge any extra. He explained the work on the toilet might not fix the problem as it was over 20 years old but i asked him to do the work anyway. He came back, at no charge a week later, when the problem in the toilet still seemd to exist. It was my mistake and he did not charge. He also told me where i could buy a new one at a reasonable price instead of trying to create more business for himself. I would definitely use them again. Very personable and professional.

Great experience. The person who came didn't manage to clear the drain at the first attempt, and very kindly did not charge me for coming out. He then came back, once I had found where the pipe came out in the street, and managed to clear it by forcing water up it, under high pressure, from the street end. It was clogged with all sorts of roots and debris.

They cleared our sewer line for $300 while Roto-Rooter told us they had to dig up the back yard to clear it.... for $3600, then reline it for another $8000! Sam, the technician got our line cleared in 20 minutes after Roto-Ripoff had been here twice for a total of about 5 hours and still could't do it. He then showed me the whole line to the alley with his camera to ease my mind. The line was clear of roots and was undamaged--definitely does not need replaced. I appreciated his honesty. He showed up on time and worked fast. I'll never use any other company! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

It was one of those experiences that made you more than glad to pay for the service. The gentleman was punctual and performed the service in a concise and swift manner. We had some good conversation. I found him to be very personable. He gave me some pointers on how to keep the drain clean and he was on his way. I could not have asked for any better.

After reading up on plumbers on Angie's list I decided to call Drain Busters. He was tied up on a job the day I called but said he could come first thing in the morning. He did show up first thing the next morning and he got my sink flowing again. I would use him again.

I figured he would come out and charge me a minimum. After I explained the situation over the phone, he told me it was something that I could probably handle on my own> He told me how to do this. I appreciated this.

They are very good, polite, and were clean. They showed up on time and did what they could.
