Don's Garage Doors

A spring broke on the garage door on Sunday. I called another company for an appointment on Tuesday. That was a no show. I went to Homeadvisors and found A1 Garage Door service. Danny came on time, explained my options, and did a great job with the installation.

my old opener was in real bad shape. A1 has some really good deals on brand new openers, installed. Very happy with service, product, and price.

When they replaced the door they then informed me that the opener needed to be replaced and I had to make another appointment, sounded suspicious but st that point I had no choice

The appointment was scheduled and they had no idea what I wanted. When they arrived my wife had to call me at work to find out what they were supposed to do. POOR comunication on their part

The technician who came by was very nice and professional. They were in and out, with the job done quickly, and charged me less than the original quote. These guys are great!

These guys helped me out in my time of need. A stuck garage door is no fun; house open, gotta go to work, etc. A! got over here quick and Ian took good care of me. It didn't cost an arm & a leg either. Fair, considering he arrived & did repair within several hours of my initial panicky call.

A1 came out to do a spring repair. I had them replaced about 3 years ago by another company in the valley and they have had come out to several times now. I am not really familiar with how all the parts work on a garage door and it was always another part breaking so I didn't really think much of it. turns out there is no such thing as a lemon garage door. A1 came out and actually educated me. I thought I was getting a good deal on the springs the first time around, but it turned out their cycle life was extremely low and they were always only going to last me a few years. My technician Dean was so helpful and polite. They fixed everything so that I don't have to deal with it for a very long time. I will never use another company.

I had my torsion springs repaired along with new bearing and the job was done the same day. I did some price shopping and they were without a doubt the best price for sure!

With the tech's short fuse schedule he arrive as planned and completed the work beyond replacing the main spring.

The Service person who came out wasn't very friendly. There were added charges besides labor exp: flat tax which when I talked to customer service stated it wasn't really a tax but for their equipment expense. Also a manditory charge for just coming out for the tech over and above the labor. Their prices are high to begin with. When talking to A1 Garage customer service he was very vague about the fee
