I have used Larry's service for over 10 years now. Larry understands everything there is associated with Lawn Irrigation. Larry not only takes care of the Annual turning on and off of the irrigation system, he has been an integral part of all landscaping projects. Adding new zones and reworking existing zones. He pays attention to details and he makes sure that everything is working as it is supposed to. He is able to trouble shoot anything associated with the irrigation system. Larry is a wonderful person to work with. My lawn is always green.

This entire experience was unprofessional. We wanted someone to dig a trench in our backyard. First, Larry (the owner) shows up two days early, already outside our door, to give us an estimate. Fine. Perhaps he was in the neighborhood and wanted to save gas and time. No problem. He then takes over a week to give us a quote, which he gives me over the phone and does not put in writing. Still, the price seems right and he has an A rating from this site so I accept and we schedule the work. I called him the day before he was scheduled to arrive to confirm. "No problems" he says. That's the last I heard from him. He did not show up and he did not call. He is not returning my calls either. I don't know what the problem was but he has left us in a bind. I won't use him again and will not recommend him either.

Larry Betty came to our home on April 23, about a week after I contacted him regarding the installation of an irrigation system. He was very pleasant and took time to answer all our questions. He indicated he would need a couple of weeks to come up with a design plan. On May 19 I called to see where he was in the process. He said he needed more time. On May 28 I called again, this time to ask that if we accepted his design and bid, how much time before installation would start because I would need to invest in some above ground sprinklers in the interim. He never returned my call. After not hearing anything, I called him on July 21 to let him know I was unhappy with his service and would be filing a report with Angie's List. He called me back the same day and said he misunderstood my message and thought I was withdrawing my request to install the irrigation system. He told me he had been out of town the week before (where was he all the other weeks in between?) and that he had experienced problems finding reliable help this summer. He also said that he expected to be busy for several more weeks, but had some ideas on how to install our system and would still like to do that. I told him that at this point, I would look elsewhere. If Larry had bothered to follow up at all, I might have understood his problems and worked with him. Since he did not, I have elected not to use his company and would not recommend him to others.

Fine. Larry showed up promptly, gave me a detailed estimate of the work I had requested, in addition to information on work that could be done to fix a couple of problem areas. Did the agreed upon work quickly, carefully, and for the estimated cost. Drew up a plan of the sprinkler locations throughout the yard.

This was the second year I've used Larry. Always easy to work with. If you are willing to recruit some of your neighbors, he is willing to work with you on price. You can only do that once, because they will be regular customers next year ;-) Like I said in last years report, the work itself is not complex, so it's all of the other factors that should be considered.

Several major obstacles were encountered and overcome, but entire system was working within two days. Costs were higher than estimate because the broken lines could not be anticipated.

Last year, Larry was working on my neighbor's system when I asked him what he charged and he was $20 less than what I had just paid, so I took his card. This year, he was at my neighbor's again, and I just asked him if he'd like to do mine while he was here;no appointment no problem. I also hooked him up with another neighbor across the street. Nice guy and good work. I'm definitely going to pass his name around.

(JOB 1) I called Cross Creek Irrigation one day and Larry Beatty came the following day. He was very nice, did a great job, and was very efficient. He had another appointment so couldn't fix all the problems he found, but came back 2 days later and finished up. (JOB 2) He hooked up his machine to my system and blew out the water from the pipes.

Larry is friendly, prompt and competent. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for irrigation work.

Larry Beatty came out same day he returned my call. Very friendly gentlemen and really knows his stuff. He was careful not to track any mud in the house and explained everything he was doing. I would definitely recommend him, and he will be doing all future work on my irragation system.

LARRY DOES A GOOD JOB AT A FAIR PRICE. I WILL HIRE HIM AGAIN.

HE IS VERY SMART, AND QUITE GOOD AT SOLVING PROBLEMS. I HAVE USED HIM FOR YEARS. I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY OTHER ESTIMATES, SO NOT QUITE SURE ON PRICING.
