Description of Work: The crew trimmed and pruned all of my trees. They were professional, careful and cleaned up all the debris.

Description of Work: Removed a very large tree and I paid extra to have the stump ground up which produced MUCH wood chips and I gladly paid the extra to remove those chips and fill the hole with topsoil and plant grass seed. |I have used them for over 30 years and will continue to do so - they have never disappointed me. Description of Work: I needed 2 diseased Ash trees removed from my property. I wanted to used someone local and that I could develop a working relationship with for further landscaping needs. I checked into the BBB and Charter Oaks had a A+ rating. I thought it would be a good fit with their high rating and close proximity to my home. Their quote wasn't the lowest, but I though with their long time in business they would be professional and do quality work. Boy was I wrong. They removed the trees within the 2 to 3 week time period and came a week later to grind the stump which I thought was odd. I have hade trees removed before and the always ground the stumps the same day while they had a crew to help with clean-up. Within 1 week they had 1 guy come out with a machine to grind the stump. When I returned home from work, the stumps were ground and all of the wood chips (approx. 2 yards or 2 pick-up beds) were left behind. When I called them to find out when they would be back to finish the job and clean up the mess, they told me their job was done and if I wanted them to clean up the wood chips, they would be happy to give me a quote.They only quoted $250 to grind the stumps. Not to clean-up. As stated before, I have had this process done before and they always left the property nicer then when they arrived. I thought that was the norm in the industry, but Charter Oaks has proven me wrong. After another call from their owner/manager, the situation is still not resolved. They can't seem to understand why I upset with 2 mounds of wood chips in my front road measuring 4 feet high and 6 feet in diameter. How did this company get and A+ rating on BBB and rather glowing remarks on Angies List. With this type of customer service, I would be better off doing business with one of those storm chasing outfits. At least with them I know I will be ripped off. In summation, be very weary of this company as they will nickel and dime you if you want the job done like a professional. However, if throwing hard earned money at someone who doesn't take pride in their quality of work appeals to you, this company is for you.

Description of Work: Did not use as their bid was $593.00 higher than Central Ohio Tree & Stump Removal, who I chose to perform the tree removal. They did an excellent job as I have previously submitted a rating to you. I believe Charter Oaks is a large company with considerable overhead and therefore their prices are considerably higher than any other bids I received.

Description of Work: Charter Oaks Tree & Landscaping Co pruned the branches of 2 trees. They also treated a tree with insects issue in October.

Description of Work: It's funny because I had the estimate sent to me and my mom and I called and left them a message that it was ok to do the work. The scheduler said that it would be several weeks and they came out a couple of days later. The trees look great and I felt like we were really taken care of.
