I am very pleased with the results. Estimate was provided within 24 hours of my initial request; work was completed within 5 days of receiving the estimate.

The estimate was done on schedule. Their office notified me ahead of time when the work was to be done. They got held up with some add ons at another job and I was notified ahead of time with apologies. The work was rescheduled the next day. Two men arrived on schedule, introduced themselves and verified the work to be done. We went over every detail and they asked specific questions about what I wanted. I was very concerned because the trees to be removed were next to my power line. They assured me that it would be no problem for them. And they were right -- the work was done precisely and professionally. They worked extremely well as a team and answered all of my questions. Cleanup was not easy because my back yard was a distance from their chipper. They carried all the logs and branches from back yard trees to the front to be chipped and left front and back cleaned up well. I am very happy with my whole experience. Office and tree staff were friendly, efficient and professional people.

They did a great job. They came out and delivered a quote the day after I called. The woman on the phone asked lots of questions to make sure I understood what it was I wanted done. The quote was prepare and easy to understand and included a map of the house as an added quality check. When I called to have it done they were out the next day to take take the tree down and came back a few days later to remove the stump. The work was great and they did everything they said they would. No surprises.

I received four quotes for this job; Charter Oaks was the least expensive. That being said, I am convinced they were the best company I could have chosen, even if they had been more expensive. I called for a quote and received one within 24 hours. About ten days later when I had all quotes and called them to schedule the work, I was told it would probably be another week before they could come out for the tree trimmings. A few hours later, they called me back and said they could come out first thing the following morning if that was OK with me. It sure was, and when I returned home the next afternoon, you could not tell that they had been there. Great cleanup. Would hire again.

They did a great job! An estimate was provided within two days from my initial call. I called again to schedule the job and they were able to come back in a week to complete the work. They did an awesome job of cleaning up and hauling away all the wood from the removed silver maples. You could not tell the trees ever existed if it weren't for the stumps. They came back the next day to grind the stumps. I would use this service again and highly recommend them.

The job went very well. The work was done while I was a work. All tree waste was removed.

The estimator didn't contact me to make arrangements. Instead he dropped by the house and found my husband at home. My husband didn't remember all of the work that we were considering so the estimate that was provided was a partial estimate. I had to contact them to request a second visit to our home in order to go over all of what we were considering. The first estimate for the work he discussed with my husband was about 20% lower than the breakout of the work that I received from the company I hired. However, the estimate of the additional work was incredibly high compared to the breakout of the other estimates I had gotten. I felt like the estimator was disgruntled about having to come back a second time. Had he contacted me as I requested he wouldn't have been inconvenienced. The combined estimate was about half again as much as the company I hired.

I called three companies during Christmas week to get an estimate for our tree. Charter Oaks sent someone the day after I called. They were the lowest estimate, and they had an excellent record on Angie's List. I called to schedule an appointment on New Year's Eve, planning on leaving a message, and talked to Gretchen instead. Three days later, three men came out and removed the dying portion of the tree and most of the debris (some small sticks and twigs were left behind.)

It went well from initial call to the completion of the work. Pricing was in line with 2 other estimates received. Major difference was how soon the work could be done. After deciding to go with Charter Oaks, the work was done within one week. Very responsive and pleasant person taking calls.

Company responded as promised, keeping all appointments on the promised dates and times. All representatives of the company were professional, cordial and willing to answer all questions asked of them. They moved furniture from my deck to a safe place to avoid damage from falling branches and replaced it at the end of the project. When it was necessary to let my dogs out into the yard they took care to watch them and stop any work over the area they were roaming. This was the second time I have hired this company to do tree work and both times I have been pleased with the results.

They did a professional job, exactly as described on the estimate.

Charter Oaks has provided tree related services at two of our homes over the years. We contacted them for an estimate to remove two large trees. They gave us a prompt written estimate. We scheduled the work and they completed it precisely as scheduled. They phoned ahead to tell us when they would be at our home. The crew was very efficient and there was nothing left behind for us to do. This company has always been an extremely pleasant, reliable and competent service provider for us.

We called them to evaluate the health of our four white pine trees, because our neighbor wanted to trim them to the property line because of a pool he was having installed. We also asked about the health of our sweet gum tree and the status in particular of one of the white pine trees. We were advised not to remove the white pine trees, because they were some of the healthiest the person had seen (Stephen Carbonora). He told us that the white pine needed fertilizer and that the sweet gum would be fine as soon as there was enough rain to wash the nutrients into the roots (we had been told by another person that the tree was dying). Charter Oaks thinned and dead-wooded the sweet gum tree, which is doing fine now that we have had some rain. They fertilized the one white pine, and it is showing some signs of improvement (there was some delay because of an equipment failure). They also thinned and dead-wooded the apple tree. They were professional and neat. We are satisfied.

I would reccomend them and also use them again in the future.

From the very first call I made my service was handled professionally, timely and efficiently. I had first called my lawn service company for help, and instead of calling me back within 24 hours it took two days to get a written estimate (for only a portion of the work) with no telephone contact with. I called Charter Oaks and LM 2C and she returned my message w/I a couple hours. She called back a second time to confirm my exact need and promised the service within two business days of. The day after a complete, detailed written estimate was given to me. The workers came on the day promised, and although I had to be home that day for other reasons, they would have and could have done what I wanted with only a signed confirmation of the estimate left at my door. Walt, Rob and Javian performed the work so quickly and efficiently they were done with the work, and clean-up in a about an hour. I now know why the prior rating this company had in ANGIE's list was so high.

The service representative I spoke with over the phone was very nice and polite. My only problem with them was that they were supposed to call me the night before to let me know when they were coming out, that didn't happen. They went ahead and did the work and I didn't know until I came home that night it had been done. I called them to let them know about some things I had requested to be take care of. They called me back and were real cordial, they advised me they would come out and take care of the matters I was concerned about. They do a good job of following up and making sure that their customers' satisfaction is met.

From the office staff to the gentleman that actually pruned the trees, it was a good experience. I had used this firm for similar work two years ago. Very pleased. The tree trimmer did an excellent job cleaning the area afterward. Would use this firm again.

Company responded quickly to give us an estimate. The work was performed very timely and very professionally and according to the estimate. The workers were very professional - they even moved potted plants to prevent tree limbs from falling on them. Cleaned up all work very well.

They came when they said the would the estimator came when he said he would, the price was very fair.
