This company was referred to me by a friend when my air conditioning failed this summer, but I still had to check Angie's List to make sure I was making a wise choice. They lived up to their "A" rating. The sales person was there in a flash to go through all my options and give me a quote - no hard sales push, just the facts about what I needed (and what I didn't need). The installers arrived on time and worked straight through until they were done. They were respectful, quiet and neat (even in muddy conditions) and took the time to explain everything to me before they left.

Very professional. Easy to make appointments. I loved that the tech did not walk in the door and shove a service agreement in my face. He replaced the Freon and suggested I schedule a leak check since I had replaced the Freon last year with another company. I was a little leary about contacting someone as I had a bad experience with another major company, initials AB. They charged me almost $600 for the same work I had done today. I would definitely recommend Care Heating & Cooling.

I called Care after a previous visit by another individual failed to diagnose a burning smell emanating from the floor vents. I received a call from the office 20 minutes before my appointment time to let me know the technician would be a little late. Jeff arrived about 15 minutes past our schedule appointment time and spent about 15 minutes diagnosing the furnace problem. He explained in detail the problem he found, the the cost of the repair, and if I had any additional problem later, what they could possibly be. He had the part required with him, so within a half an hour, the furnace was fixed and running normally. I thought the price was a bit high, but not having anything to compare it to, I can't say for sure.

This was 1 of 3 companies that I received an estimate from for replacing my home furnace. The salesman that came to the house was professional and well-informed on the products he offered. He did a very good job explaining the basic technical aspects of furnaces. I asked for quotes on 3 Lennox models. The estimates were very close to the company I eventually chose for equivalent products, so pricing seemed on target. He checked back with me after I had talked to the other 2 companies. Eventually, my decision was weighted towards a smaller independent company (found by word-of-mouth), where the sales person is also the owner and chief technician. The decision was very close as I thought over the pros and cons of each.

Very well. I had no heat and they came out immediately and repaired my furnace. However, later in the day, the furnace stopped heating up once again. I called at 7:30pm and they sent out a technician on call to check out the problem. They promptly repaired it.

I contacted Care Heating to get an estimate to replace my heat pump. Mike Brewer came out and looked at my unit and said he would go back to the office and fax me a proposal. It has been over two weeks and I have not heard from him. I called Swiss Air and got an estimate from them and there are going to do the work for me.

They came on time and were pleasant and efficient.

These people came out to my home on the coldest night of the year to fix my old furnace, even though I had no service contract with them.(My previous service contractor never returned my calls.) These folks were SO good, SO reliable, SO responsive, I didn't even shop around when I needed a new furnace. They explained everything, and the final cost was not fattened by all kinds of hidden, unnecessary extras that so many other 'mill shops' employ. I highly recommend CARE for their thoroughness and dependability; they are worth their weight in gold!

Tech was very professional. There was a small misunderstanding as to the total price of the repair, but it was quickly resolved with a very good result.

Called Tuesday evening because the furnace was running very loud. Was given a next day appt. Overnight the furnace stopped working completely. Jeff, the technician arrived promptly at 8:00 AM on Wednesday immediately diagnosed the problem and told me that he would have to get the part and would be back later in the day. Jeff arrived at 3:45 replaced the inducer fan motor. The only downside was that I had to wait most of the day in a very cold house (about 48 degrees).

The entire process was professional and went very smoothly. They are always responsive to questions and concerns.

They were here promptly, inspected furnace operation, did some cleaning.

As a new customer, I called Care at about 2:00 pm on a Monday. They had a technician at my house by 5:00 pm. The technician was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions and educated me on what filters to purchase and how frequently the filter should be changed. He spent extra time turning on the heat to unfreeze our coil as it was a very hot day. I would highly recommend them.

As a result of an inspection CARE performed when we were in negotiations to buy our house, we hired them to install a new high efficacy furnace and A/C system. Mike came out to the house and explained the various options in a honest and no pressure meeting. He did not try to sell me the top of the line unit rather the unit that best fit my needs. He answered all my questions and was always quick to respond to phone calls. Due to the problem with the old unit Mike had his crew out to our house quickly to change out the system. The installers were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Later in the summer when the A/C had a problem they were quick to fix the problem, no questions asked.

The president came out and looked at my furnace and stated yes it could be repaired but also quoted me a price to replace it. Very reasonable priced at about $2000.00 under the lowest bid I received. Everything was installed quickly and correct. Included a furnace, air conditioning unit, thermostat, and new piping.

It was a very good experience. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The price was very fair.

Great job! Mike (owner) came out and explained the options and different units. Installers did a great job, and completed everything in one day. No mess. Highly recommend.

They were easy to contact in that they have a person who answers calls. They were easy to schedule an appointment with, and I did not have to wait more than a day. I called before they came, and they arrived on time. Best of all, he arrived with all of the equipment he needed to service 3 furnaces and air conditioners.

Mike, the owner and president, came out and gave me a good estimate that I was happy about. The two installers came out and did a very nice job. It was installed in about five hours. Everything seems to be working well!

(I'm sorry I can't remember how much I paid. It was not just for the work, but for the whole year.) They were great. Polite, careful, clean and efficient. I had seen their name on Angie's list, but also have a friend who uses them and raves about this company. Plus, they liked our dogs! I was very impressed.

Installation team arrived on time, did a very neat installation including some new ductwork. The areas that they worked on in the house were left as they were found. They made sure that the new outside unit was placed a little further from our deck to allow easier access to a water faucet. Several days later, we had an unrelated problem with the furnace. We had seen signs of it prior to the a/c installation. Again, they were at our house within about 4 hours.

They fit me into the schedule for the next day - pleasantly surprised about that. They called a couple of hours before heading out, and again when the tech was ready to come out. He was professional.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. THE PROBLEM WITH THE OLD FURNACE WAS DISCOVERED DURING ROUTINE SERVICING AND VERIFIED WITH AN APPROPRIATE TEST. (I AM A PHD ENGINEER AND COMPLETELY AGREED WITH THE NEED TO REPLACE THIS FURNACE). MIKE WIENS, THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY, THEN VISITED TO EXPLAIN THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO ME. BECAUSE I HAD PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FROM CARE AND RECEIVED OUTSTANDING SERVICE, I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE ACCEPTING HIS RECOMMENDATIONS. THE TECHNICIANS WHO ACTUALLY DID THE WORK WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE, SKILLED, CAREFUL, PROMPT AND FRIENDLY. I UNCONDITIONALLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
