As usual, they found the problem, offered a solution with a quote and performed the service without any problems. We have used this company before and would still recommend them for any heating AC problems.

My A/C is so old that they weren't able to get the parts for it. They offered to rebuild it for me, or else I could buy a new one. I've opted to just go ahead and buy a new once since its at least 20 years old and it just doesn't seem to be worth the money.

We own a service company, so we know how difficult it can be to delivery great service. Our air conditioner has been failing recently. I repeatedly forgot to call to get Care Heating to our home to help fix the problem. Last evening when I got home, I had forgotten again. At 7:30 pm I called their number and left a message for them. At 10:10 pm that evening I had a voice mail letting me know that they could have someone to my home the next day. I called first thing in the am and told them about the message. They told me they would send someone between 9 and 10. The lady that I spoke with overheard me discussing the arrival time with my wife and she knew that we were going to have to reschedule some appointments. About three minutes latter, I received a return call, letting me know they would change the appointment and dispatch the serviceman right now. I am certain she did that as a result of hearing our background discussion. Now that is first class service.

I called and made an appointment. they showed up on time and did a good job.

I hired Care Heating & Cooling Inc to perform a basic maintenance service to my air conditioning and heating unit at the start of the season. They came out the day after I called them. They were punctual and reasonably priced. I would recommend them and use them again.

They were professional and they have helped us for many years and they are great. They show up on time and they did the job right. I would recommend them. The price is good.

It was so easy. They came in and spent twenty minutes to do the order. The actual service was great. They were right on time for both the order and the service. It took them about a half day of work, they explained what they were going to do. It took only one guy to complete.

The service rep. arrived as scheduled. He was very polite. He asked what our problem was. We explained it to him. He looked at the thermostat and told us the low battery light was on. So we gave him some new batteries which he then put in the thermostat. He set the date and time, too. He then went outside and looked over the unit out there. He also went downstairs to check over all aspects of the AC there. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also asked if we wanted to purchase the service agreement, and having already been asked this with our original phone call, we were prepared to ask more questions, which he answered to our satisfaction. So we purchased the service agreement for the year, too.

It went extremely well. After Mike came out to provide an estimate, I had called him to inquire if his company would be open to moving the location of the outside heat pump. He was just fine with that. All I had to do was call an electrician to move the wires. This went even smoother than expected. The unit they put in was a Lennox model 13HPD-036 Heat Pump, model CB16UH-036-R. Air handler model was ECB26-20CB heat package, lineset and thermostat. Only one minor glitch and that was the air filter for the air handler is 18 x 20. I haven't found a place yet that sells this size!! But these guys are top notch.

Free estimate; estimator on time, very educational information on process and equipment. Came back to answer questions after installation and made changed as requested.

Care came out the same day we called. Had the correct motor to install on the furnace and did so within an hour and a half. Quoted a price before he started and offered cost saving tips on furnace filter. Great, overall!

Woke up to no heat on a night that was 2 degrees. Called at 8:20am, he was here by 9:00am. Quickly figured out the problem and fixed it. Now we are warm again!

Our A/C quit cooling suddenly, and we called the repair services where we had a service contract paid through the gas company. They sent out a technician who told us the coil was leaking and would need replaced. Of course, as with most of these home warranties, the part we needed was not covered. The technician quoted us a replacement cost of almost $800. So much for our service contract! We decided that a 17 year old unit was not worth repairing at that cost, and a friend recommended Care Heating & Cooling. Mike came out promptly, talked us through our options, gave us a very good price for both the furnace and A/C, and arranged for the installation to be done the very next morning - a pleasant surprise in the 90 degree heat we were having. Work was done beautifully, and everyone was very professional.

Company representative inspected existing oil furnace stated it should be replaced with new Lennox one that was propane. Looked at home crawl space off basement and said it was insulated all wrong and needed insulation torn out and air vents sealed. Looked at home air conditioning unit and insisted it needed replaced with a heat pump. We stated we did not want a heat pump and had one previously for 10 years and were not pleased with it. He said we obviously had a bad heat pump installation and even though we built the house it was the cheapest heat pump we could have had based on the home builder. The quote was between $2,000 to $3,000 more than any other company we had quotes from. We informed him of this and he did not offer any other quote.

Care provided a clean/check maintenance for our furnace as we were moving out and the new owners wanted a clean bill of health before purchasing our home. No problems were found, he was quick and professional and I would use them again.

The worker was on-time, pleasant and knowledgable. However, he did not give me an estimate or quote, and I was shocked when he charged me $233.62 for less than 1 hour of work and an inexpensive part. I paid and then called the office to complain about the price. They had the owner call me back, and he defended the price by telling me how much the service truck and tools cost, etc. Rather than offer to reduce the price to something reasonable (maybe $60/hour plus the cost of the part), he told me he would come back, remove the part, and only charge me the diagnostics fee of $69.95. I told him I would think about it. I decided instead of having them come back I would replace the part myself. I went to a supply store and bought the replacement part for $9.04, removed their part, and installed my part. By the way, they had used a 2 pole contactor and the original was a 1 pole contactor. I then called them to pick up the part. They refused and said I had to bring it back which I did.

They had a standard service charge and I feel I could have gotten the work done for a better price if I had another company do the work. They did have excellent service.

Jeff was extremely professional and helpful, answered all of my questions and made recommendations to have a more efficient heating/cooling system. Very impressed with Jeff's customer service and positive attitude. Highly recommended!

Mike Weins explained my options and actually suggested a less efficient air conditioner (13 SEER) because the additional cost of the larger one would take too long to pay for itself. Mike took the time to answer my questions during the sales call and afterwords by phone. His price for Lennox equipment was considerably lower than the quotes I'd received from other companies. Once I made the decision to go with CARE, Mike went out of his way to arrange for a fast installation because my current AC wasn't running well and the temp. was in the 90's. Installers were fast, neat, and efficient.

Fantastic! I was told by the folks I had a service contract with that I would need to get a new unit since they had put freon in it once and it wasn't holding. This is a nine year old unit so I had a difficult time buying that evaluation. I called CARE and they came out the same morning, diagnosing it as a leak in the evaporating coil as well as finding a problem with the control board that was completely missed when the spring check was made as it was making the same noise then. I was told up front that if I purchased a service contract, I would save 10% on the repairs. After the repairman left, I received a call from CARE telling me that they could come back out in the afternoon to replace the coil and finish up the job! Their honesty and integrity are superb!
