Very well. Arrived 15 minutes early. Was very professional.

They were fabulous. Over 50% less expensive than another reputable company. They were right on time and clean and took the time to show and explain the problem. No charge for the diagnosis call. I am glad that I got a 2nd opinion from them!

I like their radio ads so I called them to get an estimate on some duct work and possibly getting more airflow to my second floor. I was told they would have to send out a technician and would have to pay a service fee. I wasn't having major problems. I just wanted to get an estimate on getting better airflow perhaps with better equipment. I told them I would have to call them back. When I didn't call them back the same woman I spoke to earlier called me back and virtually insulted me for not calling her back.

Everything was excellent except the installer didn't replace the thermostat that we were charged for until after he left and the A/C stopped working.

The installation crew showed up on time. They were courteous, professional, and answered all of my questions.

A live person answered my call on Saturday of July 4 weekend. Company rep called Monday July 4 and Tuesday July 5. Temporarily recharged the old unit until a new one could be installed. I felt like they really did care.

good from start to finish. price quoted was lower than 2 other vendors (both a-rated on angie's list), installers arrived on time, and completed the job in exactly the time quoted. they hauled away old equipment, and cleaned up so well that you would never have known that they were here.

My A/C went out during a week of 90 degree heat. I called 2 companies who told me they couldn't come out for a week or more. CARE came that day. Quoted me on a repair & later on replacement. Helped me make an informed decision. Called & showed up for all appts when they said they would. Completed the work promptly & politely. Great company.

Were here on time, finished on time. Used carpet protection and cleaned up well. Got a spot on carpet with me there, so I knew, but they didn't actually say anything. not bad, but actually could've talked/communicated better.

Called for heat pump service Monday afternoon 8/30, scheduled appointment for the next morning between 8:00-8:30. Service technician arrived at 8:00 sharp. The tech quickly determined the issue and replaced a capacitor in my 30 year old heat pump.The service call was a $79 flat rate. Total bill with part was $199.91 after Angie?s List coupon. Tech was here for 45 min. I rated a B on price because I don't believe that the capacitor was very expensive, so given the length of the call, assumed price of the part (probably less than $25.00), the additional $120.00 over the flat rate service call might be a bit high. Overall the service tech was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. I would use again for service because of the punctuality and professionalism. When it comes time to replace our system I will include them on the bid list.

From start to finish, CARE explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. They installed the units within one week of our decision. The installers were prompt and very professional.

I was impressed with their prompt service. I was able to save some money by signing up for their maintenance contract. I thought they were reasonably priced and they were very thoughtful about explaining what they had done to a novice.

During a particularly long hot spell, I started getting a lot of noise from the A/C unit in the basement. Sounded like a jack hammer. Anyway, I dialed the phone number for Care at about 9PM. The phone was answered by a service that took my name and number. I had a return call from someone at Care about 5 minutes later. I scheduled service for the next day. The next morning, I got a call around 9:30AM telling me that the tech was on his way. The tech arrived in a few minutes, was very courteous and knowledgeable. Within a few minutes, he discovered that my blower motor had locked and the fan wheel had completely come apart. Even though the brand name of my A/C unit was not one that Care installs, the tech assisted me in getting the part replaced under warranty. He called around to a couple of places, and within a couple of hours, I was back up and running (and cool!). Couldn't be more pleased with the service. Care offers a maintenance plan that includes two seasonal "tune-up" calls, as well as discounts on any other service that might be required. I'm planning to take advantage of it this fall.

On the 90 degree day before my parents moved into their new home, the air conditioning went out. We called Care's 24/7 line that night and arranged for them to come to the house to the next day. They arrived at 9 am and quickly diagnosed the problem. The project ended up being a labor intensive one--dye test, disassembly of the outside unit, repair of the problems, evacuation of remaining coolant, etc. The work was done well and the service person was professional. We would definitely use them again.

We had been living with a broken air conditioner for 15 years, but when our 30+ yr old electric furnace stopped working in November, I called CARE H&C because of their radio ads. I was surprised that the phone was answered by the owner Mike; I recognized the voice from radio and thought it was a recording at first so when he finished, I just waited for someone else to start talking. He had to say "Hello?" a couple times before I realized he was really talking to me. I explained that our furnace had stopped working and he sent a repairman out the next day. When the CARE repairman opened the furnace, he found all the electrical wiring had been burned to a crisp and let us know how lucky we were that it had burned itself out and just shut down. Since the furnace was so old, there were no parts available for it anymore, so they arranged to have a salesman come out to the house a couple days later to provide me an offer on new equipment. He took into consideration the small size of my house and the fact that I had that broken central air conditioner and gave me an offer for an more energy-efficient heatpump type of equipment, that would provide both heat and air conditioning! 9 days later, two men came and took out the old furnace and put in the new box downstairs and a new airconditioner thing outside where the old one used to be. They were so fast that my brain did not think of questions until after they were done and gone. So I was looking at the heatpump thing in the basement and could not figure out where the air filter would go and had to call the company to ask. (there were little black screws on one side that you unscrew to lower a panel where the filter slides in). Then in the summer, we got excited about having airconditioning and turned it on - only to not have it work. So I called the company and they tried to help me over the phone, but when nothing worked, they sent out a repairman the next day, who fiddled with controls and went downstairs and then went outside. He came back a moment later and took me outside and showed me that some big circuit breaker outside had been put in upside down (which is done while installing everything to keep from being electricuted) and that when you flip it over, it completes the electric circuit. He said the installers must have forgotten to flip it over after they installed everything (remember, they were very fast). Nice thing was he did not charge me for the visit, so I was happy. I am glad I waited to submit my report or I would not have been able to talk about the air conditioning incident since that was 7 months later. Now it is 2010 and the furnace and airconditioning have been working great ever since and, as i mentioned before, my electric bill for the year is still lower now (even using both heat and airconditioning) than when we used the old furnace for just heat and had no airconditioner.

Low pressure sales. Came to my home on time, walked me through the process, left me a quote and left. They didn't keep bugging me. Installers were right on time, worked very fast in my opinion, cleaned up entirely and walked me through all the features and controls. No surprises. Everything went very well.

arrived on scheduled time and the job was completed on time, with explanations of the new equipment and how to use it. The installers were polite, made no mess, cleaned up and were very friendly. I will recommend Care Heating to all my friends.

I called from work to schedule the appointment and the lady who took my information was responsive and helpful. My spouse met the technician at home where the A/C repair took place and arrived from her place of work only minutes ahead of the technician. From the time I placed the call, to the arrival of the technician, was most likely less than 1/2 hour. The technician provided my spouse with a couple of options for the repair which varied in price and warranty duration and he took the age of our A/C unit into consideration. Given the age of the A/C unit, over twenty five years, and our desire to replace this unit within the year, he agreed that the less expensive fix was fine. In addition, we were not pressured in to replacing our A/C unit and the repair was completed in timely and efficient manner. I intend to obtain one of my estimates for a new A/C and furnace from this company in the fall.
