I have an old converted coal-to-gas furnace. The blower motor went out. I called late one afternoon for an appointment. The guy who answered the phone was just great! Without prompting, he tried to get me an evening appointment for that evening but did not have a tech available. I had anticipated waiting a day or two for service when I called in but I thought that he went above and beyond to try to get me on the schedule the same day without any prompting from me. We scheduled an appointment for the following day. I asked him to review the charges with me and give me a very general idea of the cost of replacing the blower motor, if that was the problem. He gave me an idea of the costs involved. I received two calls from the office the next day, one that the tech was finishing up the job before mine and the second a few minutes later that the tech was on his way. The tech was great! He was familiar with my style of furnace so it didn't take him long to figure out that the blower motor was out, that it needed to be replaced. He knew what information was needed to order the part and was able to tell the office where to call to get the part. Before he left, the part had been ordered. We knew that the part would be delivered the nest day. The office called me the next day. They did not have a tech available to come out yet that day so we made the appointment for first thing the following day. The tech arrived earlier than they estimated but that was fine with me because it meant that the repair would be done that much sooner! He replaced the motor; the furnace worked fine; and I paid the bill! I was impressed with the professionalism of each and every employee with whom I dealt, from the initial call to the office personnel that called me about scheduling my repair and the technicians. The cost was competitive too. Care did the repair without any hidden charges and at a reasonable cost. I will be calling them again since they gave such a high level of service!

This company does the right thing every time I deal with them. I am rarely able to be at the property when repairs are done, but Care always checks before they do anything. The work they perform is always up to par, and they go out of the way to explain everything they do in writing on the invoice. They are always a pleasure to deal with.

The service call went very well. The service man explained every thing as he went along and performed the work in a professional manner.

There were two service technicinan that arrive promptly at the time promised. There wre not any problems that occurred during the removal of the old equipment and the installation of the new equipment. They worked as a team and knew exactly how to get the job completed. They worked through the entire day without hesitation and worked efficiently until completion. The job took the enitre day, and by 4pm the techinicans demostrated how to operate the new thermostat and provided manuals on how to program the temperature for different times of the day and night. Overall, very pleased and would definately reccommend this product and company!

Good price and they arrived at the agreed time and stayed until the installation was finished that same day.

overall services was very good. arrival on time, work completed as promised and technician very professional. I have since had CARE back out to service my furnace and have also purchased service contract that so far has performed as expected. No Complaints and at this time, I will continue to call CARE for their HVAC services.

Care Heating called me at work as promised 20 minutes before the service person was to arrive. Mike arrived when expected. He seemed very knowledgeable and was professional. The inspection was completed in about 45 minutes and a new filter was installed. The combustion and CO were tested. Everything checked out well. Mike notive I had a low battery on my thrmostat and changed the battery. i had the AA batteries.

We were having yearly issues with our A/C and furnace and called a few of the top rated companies in our area for quotes on a new installation. We choose Care Heating and Cooling because of their competitive price and the time the salesperson (Christie) spent with us going over all of our options. She gave us a detailed explanation of the different models and explained the applicable benefits. At no point did she try to up-sale and even spent the time to give us pricing on the repair of our existing A/C and furnace. After the consultation we decided to purchase the new A/C and furnace. The installers were very helpful. They answered the questions I had during install and reviewed all of the equipment. The equipment we purchased qualified us for an AEP rebate. They completed all of the necessary paperwork leaving us to just sign it and send it in; easy! A couple months after the install I had a question about the line going into the house from the A/C unit. One of the guys stopped by our house on his way home from work to answer my question. All of the employees that we had contact with represented themselves and Care Heating and Cooling very professionally. They did a great job from beginning to end!

Care has done a couple of services for us within the last year. Last winter, they installed a new furnace downstairs. It has been working great ever since. This last service, they were very professional and were punctual. They showed up on time and even called ahead of time to allow me to put away my dog. I would recommend them to anyone.

In September they replaced the compressor in my air conditioner for $700.

The tech came out on time and explain everything to me that was wrong. He replaced the parts and got it running again. They were able to come out on short notice as well. The price was very reasonable.

The unit has been working well ever since they fixed it.

Air conditioner stopped working. They came out as quick as they could, considering we're in the middle of a severe heat wave and they probably had a whole lot of other repairs to do. The service man, Mike, was very pleasant, found the problem quickly and fixed it. Replaced the capacitor and 2 fuses. Gave us a little education on things we didn't know and needed to know, then took a look at a furnace problem. If we have any HVAC problems in the future, we're definitely calling Care.

The air conditioner was not cooling the house and we have an annual contract with CARE. Our a/c check had not been performed yet so we called them. They were able to squeeze us in the next day. They determined something had dislodged a wire that goes from the house into the outside unit and were able to fix it relatively quickly. They also performed our annual a/c check that is part of the annual contract.

They were excellent in everything and I have no complaints about them. They were very accommodating and came to work even though it was on a Saturday. They did everything they said they would to help me out. I would use them again in the future.

They were excellent. Their price was the most affordable and they were very professional and timely.

Great service, excellent technician! He offered good advice on furnace filters, etc. I would highly recomment them. In addition, the receptionist is extremely friendly and helpful.

Care Heating & A/C was the third Lennox dealer to give me a proposal for replacing my furnace and air conditioner. The sales rep Mark Baker was on time, pleasant and professional. I was surprised that there was such a difference in the recommendations from the three companies. Mark's proposal took into consideration the age of my home (1958) and the cost of installation of the various types of furnaces. His proposal made the most sense . . . And - it was the lowest price! He also gave me literature explaining the way the furnace and blower moter worked. Information on the air conditioner. Best of all he told me about the rebates available from AEP and has been very helpful in getting that processes for me - AFTER the sale! The installation went very well. They were on time, extremely neat, easy to talk to and everything was completed in one day; Before they left they went over the operation of the thermostat, furnace, and A/C and answered all my questions. I would be happy to recommend Care Heating & cooling to friends or family!

Having used another company, whose pricing policies to me were not ethical, who added refrigerant to my unit because of a leak. I called Care to inspect my air conditioning unit to determine why I needed to add refrigerant. The Care representative did a through inspection and found a leak in the coil system on the unit attached to my furance and a leak on the strader value on the outside unit. A sales person then came to my home where she took many measurements, etc. gave me a price of $1,200 to fix the unit or replace the unit for cost of $2,600. My unit was only five years old, just out of warranty by several months, and since it used the R-22 refrigerant, now being phased out in the US, I opted for the new unit, a 13 seer, with a warranty of 10 years. Within a week, a service man came to our home, removed the old unit, and installed the new unit. It took him 6 hours to do this, and I was pleased to see the care and professional that he displayed. He cleaned up thoroughly after he left, the unit is quiet, works well and we have the piece of mind that it will not break down this summer, and should give us years of good service. Two of my neighbors and my daughter use Care and are very pleased...and, so am I.

Salesman Mark Baker came and looked at our heating and a/c system. I had two previous companies look at the system as well. Mark made recomendations and we were happy with the estimate. Later, I called Mark and up-graded the system to a more efficient furnace and a/c unit. Mark also pointed out we can get a rebate from AEP for the efficient system so the additional cost was well within our budget . Scott and Jeff arrived at our home on time and as promised the entire system was remove and replaced in one day. The guys cleaned up the area in the basement and in the yard. We also bought a new touch screen thermostat which let us control the new system with ease. Thanks to Care for the good service and quality brand equipment.

Sales rep was extremely friendly during the quote process- I might have even gone with them if their prices were a tad higher just because I got a good feeling from her. However, they were also the least expensive, so it was obvious to go with them.The guys arrived on time (I didn't even realize they were the company with the 'your wife is hot/your old man is cool' ads until they pulled into the driveway- I always thought those ads were funny), were also very friendly toward me and my pets, and very helpful. I had no problem trusting them in my house while I took my dog to the dog park to tire him out. They were finished in GREAT time- almost an hour before they said they would be. They explained everything very well and answered all my questions, and even gave me helpful tips on my great new appliances. I highly recommend this thorough, upbeat, professional and capable company.

We had a great experience! Craig showed up and immediately discovered the issue. He had the parts needed with him and quickly replaced the capacitor and filled the unit with freon. While he was out we discussed with him what a previous heating and cooling repairman had said about our needing to replace the unit. Craig told us the unit was fine and didn't need replaced! He then told us about a care plan which we decided to purchase. While Craig was at the house he checked our furnace. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!
