Excellent. Techs installed furnace and were very careful when bringing the equipment in the house. Once installed, the techs showed us how to use the new thermostat and furnace.

Woke up Sunday morning to find that our furnace was not blowing hot air anymore. After some personal troubleshooting, found that it wasn't igniting. Purchased the deal on Angie's List for Care Heating and Cooling for $35 service call, then called to schedule. Was very impressed that they answered on a Sunday morning! Diane was great over the phone, and was able to get me scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Luckily we just had an energy audit and extra insulation installed last year, so with our fireplace going, the house stayed mostly nice and warm. Craig from Care showed up at 8:10AM, was very pleasant and professional, and had the issue diagnosed within 10 minutes (bad igniter). Had the replacement part with him, quoted $140 for repair, and had the repairs done and tested for functionality within 30 minutes. Craig was great - very personable, good conversation, and clearly knew what he was doing. I will definitely use Care again! Thank you!

During a recent string of very cold temperatures, our furnace airflow pvc intake pipe was freezing up often causing the furnace safety mechanism to activate and shut the furnace down. This resulted in a loss of heat and a lot of frustration. I contacted CARE Heating and Cooling on 2/13/15 and purchased their $34.50 trip and diagnostic offer on Angie's List. Bill from CARE came out the next day (on a Saturday!). He was very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. Bill found that when our house was built years earlier, the builder's HVAC contractor at the time connected the air intake and exhaust pvc pipes backwards! Bill provided me with a temporary workaround so we would have heat during this very cold stretch of days and until the problem could be permanently resolved. A couple days later, I received a very timely follow-up estimate for the work from CARE Heating and Cooling. Since the cause of this problem was viewed by me to be the responsibility of the builder and their HVAC contractor when the house was built, I contacted the builder soon thereafter. The builder agreed to fix the problem at no cost to me utilizing their HVAC contractor of choice. Had the builder not agreed to fix the issue at their expense, I would not have hesitated to consider using CARE Heating and Cooling to do the work. In addition, I will not hesitate to consider using CARE for future HVAC needs.

Our very old furnace started blowing cold air one day. We reached out to CARE based on their high Angie's List grade and details of the reviews. I purchased an Angie's List coupon which priced our service visit at half off. The service technician was supposed to respond the following day due to bookings. However, they understood the urgency of a cold home in the winter, and fit us in on the evening of our call. The technician was friendly and knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, he had to deliver the bad news that our furnace was finished. It was a safety hazard and was leaking carbon monoxide. A sales representative was able to respond to following day to meet with my wife while I was out of town. I was then able to review the quote over the phone with the same sales rep who was helpful in confirming the best price to get us up and running. Their price was fair and reasonable when considering the substantial work being done. We went ahead and arranged for a central air unit as the rust bucket in our backyard was destined to croak soon. Within two days, the installation representatives were in our home installing the new furnace and central air. The employees represented themselves well and were very courteous. Much of the time past the sales pitch, you deal with rude and impolite installation reps. This was not the case here. They brought their own mats to cover their path through the house. It was slushy and dirty outside, but the house was only minimally affected by their constant foot traffic. By around 3:00 PM in the afternoon, heat was running through our ducts again. The last thing we really wanted to deal with was this inevitable punch to our bank account. However, we are now running a 96% efficient furnace. I know the gas bills will show a difference. While I write this, the temperature outside is 4 degrees. So I really can't help but admire the fine machine in our basement that is keeping the family warm. CARE was fast, efficient, and friendly during this entire process. They clearly understood that no one wants to drag their feet in the dead of winter with no heat. Their staff came and went with a clear understanding of what they were doing. Considering the circumstances, I don't think they could have made the process any easier for us

He showed me specifics as to why the furnace should be replaced. Used a camera to go into furnace to show amount of rusting and at 25.5 years old, the furnace should be replaced. Set me up with an appointment that day to get an estimate on a new furnace and A/C, which I ended up getting.

It went very well. Care Heating and Cooling fixed the problem with the furnace and even relocated the thermostat controls so they would be easier to access. Both technicians we dealt with were friendly and professional.

My 19 year old furnace quit working on Sunday morning. I was convinced I'd have to replace it. I called Care Heating after reading reviews on Angie's List. They had someone answering the phones on Sunday which was great. Tim arrived Monday morning and went right to work. It didn't take him long to diagnose a bad ignitor switch. He showed me what the piece looked like and gave me a cost to replace it. While taking apart the furnace he told me it was very dirty and parts were rusty. He once again took parts out to show me. I hadn't had my furnace cleaned in over five years and had him clean it as was recommended. Tim was very thorough and explained everything he did. I feel safer knowing he tested for CO2 even the amounts going through the flue. He also told me my furnace was well made and could potentially live another 3-5 years. It shows how honest a company Care Heating is, they could have pushed me into putting in a new furnace. When I do need one I will certainly call them first!

Great experience from quote to install to follow up service call. Sales representative explained recommendations and answered all questions thoroughly and intelligently. Quick turnaround for installation, even though this was not an emergency -- the old furnace was still operational. There was a defect in the new furnace that caused a vibration when the fan operated. A service rep was out the next day to diagnose it and a new part was ordered and installed the following day. Very prompt resolution of an issue that was outside of their control.

The sales person told me it wold take all day to do the install. Two installers were here by 8.30 am and finished by 2.15 pm. They worked quickly and cleaned up nicely.

Andy and Ben were right on time. They were friendly and professional. They worked all day straight through until the work was done. Even on one of the coldest days of the year.

Technician came out and discovered the problem.Told me I was lucky because the distributor was open and could fix it today. I waited all day. Finally called. Secretary informed it was closed , but could pay extra for shipping to get it the next day. I declined. I waited three days before the heater was fixed. No heat in winter for three days.
