I had Buckeye Paving Company out to install a new asphalt driveway over my existing gravel driveway. From the beginning they were friendly and patient; willing to answer all my questions about how they paved their driveways and what kind of aggregate they used. The asphalt industry has a negative stigma when it comes to shady contractors and their practices and some of the quotes i received from other companies reflected that by making it seem like they were selling me a used car with wishy washy prices and unclear information such as finished thickness and material. I felt confident these guys would follow through on their word from the beginning, and i was right! They prepped the base, and put down 2 separate layers of asphalt for a total of 3 inches. The first layer had bigger stones in it for strength. They had the project done in 3 days working around some undesirable weather, and the final product was exactly what i had envisioned!

Had an extension added to existing driveway. Work was quick and good quality. Very happy with price and product. Would definitely use again.

Mike was the first driveway contractor I had out that knew his business. Others only wanted to drop loose gravel and not repair holes first. He did a great job at a great price!! Would definitely use him again!
