I found Bruck Safe company on Angies list. I called to setup an appointment for someone to figure out why my safe was not operating. I spoke with Pat on the phone and he provided instructions to me for resolving the issue. It worked. Pat was so friendly and professional. His advice saved me time and money. I will definitely call them again, if I ever have problems with my safe. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: I have a safe that would not open after successfully entering code.

The sale with Linda was a snap. They have the best quality safes, not cheap, but the best. The big box stores sell safes, but at a fraction of the quality as Bruck's. Mark and Pat., the installers, showed up on time, didn't make a scratch even though they had to navigate 3 turns in the house, and cross new hardwood flooring. They explained in detail exactly what I need to know in a very friendly manner. I have nothing but the top marks for Bruck Safe Company, and will recommend them to my friends.
Description of Work: We bought a top of the line home safe. Price was not an issue. We wanted the best safe from the best provider.

Bruck Safe Co. is a very knowledgeable local business who takes the time to educate you on safes. Buying a secure safe involves a lot more than just purchasing some cheap model from a big box store. I wanted something that was secure, strong and with a high fire rating. Linda Bruck did an excellent job of educating me on my options. The safe was delivered promptly on the scheduled delivery day and the gentlemen delivering it patiently taught me how to set and re-set the lock. These guys know what they're talking about and run a first-rate operation. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Purchased electronic-lock safe from them and had it delivered to business.

This is a very late review on my part, this was done well over more than a year ago. Moved 1920's era bank/store safe on large flatbed truck about 10 miles garage to barn. This safe is big time heavy would never ever go up stairs and would never be safe (no pun intended) to sit on anything but a concrete slab on a ground floor in my opinion. Did I mention it was seriously heavy? So the move was easy in that there were no close quarter spaces involved, but this was no do it yourself job either, they had the right equipment to move the massive thing and did a good job.

I knew nothing about gun safes other than that I needed one. I do have some other valuables to protect, however, so as I started to educate myself on safes, it seemed that a simple vault with room to stack guns around the sides would not suffice. I spent several hours looking at gun safes in a few gun stores around Columbus, but they have no employees who know anything about safes other than their prices and how to arrange installation. I did gather some brochures that led to Web sites that contained some useful information, but I wasn't really feeling comfortable about any of the products I'd seen. If they fit my budget, I wasn't sure they were burglar-proof. On the recommendation of a friend, I paid a visit to Bruck Safe Company in Westerville. They've been in this business since about 1946, and Pat Bruck is the second generation of family ownership. Safes are their exclusive business, and they know it well. Mark Melchiori showed me around the showroom and explained what makes a safe safe. This led to my totally discarding any ideas about buying one of the "entry-level" safes stocked by the gun stores. After 70 years in the business, Pat Bruck limits his sales and service to two lines. He acknowledges that some other manufacturers offer fine products, but he sells AmSec (American Security) and Gardall safes because, as opposed to most others, these companies have been in continuous operation for several decades and have established quality control and service histories. I ended up picking an AmSec safe that cost more than I'd originally intended to spend because it was, in the end, the most affordable one I could find that met my size and security requirements. It helped greatly that I had full faith in the experience and competence of the guys at Bruck's; in spite of a slightly higher cost, they took the anxiety out of the decision, and I felt very comfortable that I'd made exactly the right choice -- i.e, hit the sweet spot balancing quality and cost. With a minimal downpayment, Pat ordered the safe and had it ready for delivery in about a week. Mark and Pat brought the safe to my home today and had it installed in my basement in about 30 minutes. They used special powered handtrucks to get the 400# safe into my house, through my living room across hardwood floors, down my basement stairs (with expensive woodwork on both sides), and around a 90º corner at the bottom of the stairs without an iota of damage to anything. The safe was electrified and bolted to the concrete floor in short order. I couldn't believe how rapidly and efficiently they accomplished all this work. The lock was thoroughly explained, and they were off without further ado. This was a difficult acquisition for me because it was a product about which I knew absolutely nothing at first and because it was a major expenditure. However, after receiving no help at all from the companies that sell safes but know nothing about them, Pat Bruck and Mark Melchiori, made the tedious process simple. I spent more than I thought I would when I started the process, but I feel extremely good about the decision and purchase. Had I not gone through Bruck Safe, I'd certainly have felt uncomfortable about any decision I made on my own. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Description of Work: Explained safes thoroughly in the showroom, recommended, delivered, and installed my gun safe
