Wonderful. A squirrel chewed a hole in the soffit and gained access to the attic. After eliminating the squirrel and trying to patch the hole, birds managed to get in. After getting rid of the birds I cleaned the damage up the best I could, and stuffed the hole with a tarp. B&T came out and gave me a free estimate, which was very reasonable. I already had purchased the necessary material to replace the soffit, so they took it back to the shop and painted it (it was too cold to paint outside). They repaired the soffit, gave me back the unused material, and cleaned up after themselves. The serviceman wasn't happy with the result, so they scheduled a time to come back and caulk the area and repaint it. Todd Nicholson performed this work and it looks great. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Not well. Tracy and Todd are a poor examples of business owners. A job as simple as mine went overboard. Turns out the lady I spoke with in billing is the owners wife, Tracy Muth. That is the icing on the cake.. She did not bother to check back or have her husband call after I called and complained about the work done. Tracy also took it upon herself to bill my credit card the balance of the bill before the repairs had been made without my permission. So they are holding on to our credit card numbers, Bad business.
Description of Work: After looking on Angie's list I contacted B & T Roofing for an estimate to make small siding repair that had cable running underneath it. I wanted the cable to be ran under my j-channel or dropped to the ground for the cable company to make their decision as were to run it.They were to wrap approximately 16 foot of exposed wood around door. they were to match and replace two really small pieces of siding that had been removed for the purpose of matching the siding. Adjustment to a four or five inch piece of siding beside back door. I received a call from Robert Bills and we set an appointment for a estimate to do my repairs. He came to my home and after two trips sent me an estimate. Seemed like a really nice person. He told me all the puffiness were the cable was running under the siding would be gone when the cable was removed and everything would be smooth like the rest of the siding. The adjustment to the small piece beside back door is no different just needs a new piece a little wider. Unfortunately that is not the case. I called the company and told Heather and a lady working in billing of my dissatisfaction. It was arranged to have someone come out to look at their work. Robert showed up with one of the men that had worked on my home. When I showed him that the cable had been placed back under the siding he became agitated tried to say the cable was not long enough? The piece beside the back door not being fixed just made him worst. This young man is approximately 6' 4" I am a senior lady 5' 3". I became frightened and told him I would call 6 on your side. All he was doing was arguing with me and telling me to let my cable company remove the cable? What had I hired his company to do? Them he threw a fit throwing his hands in the air saying he was out of here. His partner calmed him the best he could. I had to go inside as I was so upset and afraid of him. I have never had a person look at me with so much hatred. When his partner showed me they had put the cable were it should have been in the first place and yes the cable was plenty long enough. Now I have holes in the window area where the cable was removed. I am very upset that I paid for this quality of work and to be treated in this manner. I would have thought the owner would have called to check up on the job..

WOW! This has got to be the [Member Information Removed] inaccurate, half-truth, full of lies review I've ever read! We performed the initial repair on November 11, 2015 and a final invoice was e-mailed to the member. A reminder e-mail was sent on December 2, 2015 when we did not receive payment nor here from the member. I personally left a voice mail message on her phone regarding payment on December 22, 2015, again no response. I e-mailed a friendly reminder on January 7, 2016, still no response. After 4 attempts to contact this member without any response, I did charge her credit [Member Information Removed] on January 14, 2016. Her credit [Member Information Removed] number was then deleted from our system. The members claim that we have held onto and retain her credit [Member Information Removed] information is incorrect. The members statement that I charged her credit [Member Information Removed] before the work was performed is a lie. I am also unclear as to why my position in the company and being the Owners wife is "icing on the cake". As advertised, we are a Veteran Owned, Family operated company and are proud of that fact. The member contacted my office on January 26, 2016 to express her displeasure that her credit [Member Information Removed] had been charged. This was the [Member Information Removed] contact we received from the member since the repair was completed 2 1/2 months prior. I explained to her that 3 e-mails and a phone call were placed before the credit [Member Information Removed] was charged. The member told me that she had never received an invoice because she never checks her e-mail. [Member Information Removed], considering [Member Information Removed] of the previous communication was done via e-mail, including the estimate. The member also during this conversation explained to me she was unhappy with the work performed. I scheduled a crew to return to her home on January 28, 2016. At that time she asked us to remove the cable from behind the siding (which is where she asked us to put it during the initial repair) because she was switching cable companies and wanted it to be able to be easily removed. Per her request, we tucked it under the J-channel. At this point the member began to get upset and complain about the work and the cost and threatened to call 6 on your side. That is when Robert said "Ok, we are leaving now" and walked away. He was not angry, agitated or threatening. The other crew member did not have to calm Robert down, the member did not go inside fearful, she stood there and watched them drive away. The event was quite the opposite. The members aggressive behavior is what prompted Robert to leave the premises. The member claims the Owner, Todd, never contacted her, this is a lie. Not only did he contact her, he scheduled an appointment to meet with her. When Todd arrived for the scheduled appointment, the member was not there. Her nephew was there but had no idea of what the issue was or what the member wanted done. Todd left his personal cell phone number with her nephew and also called the members phone, while standing in her driveway and left his personal cell phone number on her voice mail. The member has yet to contact Todd or the office. How are we supposed to resolve an issue or honor our work if the member will not contact us directly? I do not understand why someone would take so much time to post on social media and on Angie's List and not take the time to place a phone call to the office or to the Owners personal cell phone if they really wanted an issue resolved. The only thing this member has done is slander us on social media and on Angie's List. She has even gone as far as to question my husbands honor and military service. I find this repulsive and reprehensible. My husband is an honorable man and business owner who served his country and risked his life in Desert Storm. He is a combat veteran and takes great pride in his military service and takes the same pride in his company. After all that has transpired and all of the lies, we are no longer interested in doing business with this member. I will issue the member a check for a full refund and respectfully request there be no further contact from her.

I initially spoke with Robert Bills who came to give me an estimate and agreed to take the job. This company has sub contracted my gutter, fascia and soffit service out to two other companies. I contacted Angie's List to get a service provider that will complete the work I need done not to sub contract out the work having me wait for months now and I still do not have the work complete. This company's assessment of what was wrong initially was incorrect. I want my money back or the company to come back to my home and finish the work themselves...not another sub contracted company.

Robert came out promptly to provide an estimate. When there was a problem with the emailed estimate coming through the company was quick to follow up and re-sent and called to confirm receipt. Very professional. The estimate however to replace 5 pieces of soffit was extremely unreasonable - $505.00. Many hundreds over another estimate. As a courtesy I let the Tracy and Todd Muth (owners) know as I have tried to use their services a few times and have many properties. Tracy was extremely nice and sent a message saying she will review with Todd and Robert. They did not complete the work.

Our first contact was with Greg in sales. He arrived as scheduled, was thorough in explaining the products and took the lead in involving our insurance company and reporting the claim. Once the insurance company took care of their part we were able to get started on the actual replacement. The crews were prompt, professional and very respectful of our property. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in exterior work to a home. Also they did return in 2015 to fix an issue at the front porch area that was giving us some trouble---it was taken care of.

I received a quote to have fascia replaced on my roof line. I would have loved to have hired this company but there's few things on a professional level of making that not happen. On June 11th I had scheduled a quote and several days later I received it by email as they refused to provide it in person at the time of the quote. Secondly, I received an e-mail from Heather on June 19th checking (even though I had left a voicemail several days earlier with no response) in stating only that Robert asked her to follow up with me. Literally that's what it says. It doesn't say anything about have you made any decisions on whom to hire or we hope you choose us...nothing it was as if someone told her to follow up and she did the bare minimum. I did respond to that e-mail the same day I received it and have never heard back. Ever! If this wasn't enough for me to discount them I gave them another shot. I called them again July 21st and left a voicemail. I did receive a call back from Heather on July 22nd leaving me a voicemail as I was not available at that time. I called them back on July 23rd and spoke to Heather. First I asked her what lead time I was looking at to have the work performed she could not provide me any type of time estimate only stating she has no idea. I then requested a detailed quote. The quote they originally provided has no detail. Details are important not only (but mostly) for my protection but also theirs. As an example what type of fascia single, double, ribbed, what color, what type of finishing nails etc....she was obviously not pleased with this request and pretty much shut me down as well as the conversation and her tone said it all. She was annoyed. She said and I quote, "I'll tell you what I'm willing to do. I'll have Robert call you back". I asked when would he call me and she said she had no idea and would not provide me any type of timeframe. My concern at this point is if this company's work is of the same calibur as their quotes and customer service it's worrisome at best. And secondly, I did not have an unrealistic request but was treated as though I did. I would say if you choose to hire this merchant keep a very, very close eye on them. To further, I would like to take the high road but the comments of this merchant is not accurate. The ONLY email that came through was on the 19th. Heather did not say something cordial. The moment I asked for a detailed quote she. shut. down. Her voice became abrupt and maybe mine did too I can't say....if someone is dishing it out I am likely to return it I'm not a saint but I was not rude. Everything I originally said I stand by. I guess as a member, you can judge for yourself but I would personally question a merchant who receives feedback they don't like so they automatically call the customer a liar! I am many things but a liar is not one of them! Furthermore, during this same conversation, I did not bring up price. I had emailed asking to see if a better price could come about I already mentioned that and there was no reply to that email ever. I am enclosing a cut and paste of my quote which again is my sticking point. If a company doesn't understand why I would want to protect myself in regards to a quote for work happening on my roof line then...... ****Copy of email from July 19th there IS no other email! At least not that I actually received. As you can see this "detailed" quote, in my humble opinion is not very detailed. What type of fascia are they going to use as just an example single or double ribbed, white or some other color, what type of adhesion are they going to use to attach. I've worked in an industry for almost a decade helping homeowners with these very situations. And when there are no details and something goes wrong and then the homeowner has no way to protect themselves. I have to tell you it literally breaks my heart when I've had to tell homeowners in the past nothing can be done because this is what the quote...or receipt say....when no real detail is on the quote they could put up any material that they want to even if it's not what was verbally agreed to because this is what is in writing. Now I'm not saying that this company would have put any old, incorrect material up there, but I also do not know that they wouldn't have. My original sticking point was to have every piece of material that a merchant is going to be placing on my home, in which compensation is included, completed spelled out. As an example are you going to be using 14ft. white double ribbed fascia, 10 finishing nails etc....this is simply good practice! It, right off the bat, shows the homeowner you care about their home and project and provides the homeowner AND merchant protection on bill of materials and work as important with any job big or small. When it's spelled out everyone involved knows exactly what to expect from beginning to end of project and then if something veers off then everyone knows a discussion needs to occur. Not everyone is aware of what materials should be used on their homes which is why professionals get hired. My only objective is protect other homeowners from unforeseen hardships...we all work hard for our money and for our properties and we simply want merchants who feel the same.

I am sorry this member was unhappy with her contact with B&T Roofing. First and foremost we typically do not give estimates "on the spot". We prefer to take our time and type up a formal proposal to provide the customer. The estimate was e-mailed to the member the same day, not several days later as claimed. This member did receive a follow up e-mail from Heather on July 19th, this is standard practice to follow up with customers approximately 1 week after the estimate is provided if we have not heard back from them. I have copied the exact follow-up e-mail sent to this member: Hello [Member Name Removed] Robert asked me to follow-up on the estimate he submitted on June 11th. Do you have any questions on the estimate Robert can answer for you? Are you still reviewing other estimates or perhaps ready to schedule the work? If you could please let me know the status of your Repair project, I will update my records accordingly. Thank you, Heather As you can see this e-mail is not at all as the member described it. The member responded to the follow up e-mail on June 24th, not the following day as claimed, and is copied here: "It seems a bit high, in my opinion and per other estimates I've received. I would like to hire you but we would need to do something about the price. Especially since this is not a big job. Thank you, [Member Name Removed]" My records indicate a voice mail message was left for the member on June 25th by Robert letting her know the quote for $285.00 could not be discounted any further. We did not hear back from the member so the file was closed. On July 22nd we received a voice mail from the member requesting a call back, her call was returned on the same day, a voice mail was left. The member returned the call on July 23rd at that time she requested a more detailed quote and also wanted to know about scheduling. Heather explained to her several times that she would have to leave a message for Robert because he would have to revise the quote and that he also handles the scheduling. The member did not like this answer and began to get rude with Heather. She was demanding to know exactly when Robert would return her call. Heather told her that Robert was out of the office on appointments and did not know the exact time Robert would return her call and that she would leave him a message for when he returned. Again the member did not like this answer and once again became loud and demanding. At that point Heather did say something to the effect of "The best I can do for you is to leave Robert a message". I am sorry we were not able to please this member. It is always our primary goal to make every customer happy. We did the best we could to assist this member. I do hope she chose another highly rated company from Angie's List and is pleased with her repair work.

We were extremely pleased with all interactions with B&T Roofing. When the salesman came out for our free estimate, he thoroughly inspected the existing roof from inside and out and then sat down for a conversation with us about what we wanted. He made recommendations about bringing things up to code and explained our options. We also had 2 other companies do estimates (both were highly rated by both Angie's and BBB), but B&T impressed us the most from the start. All contacts were handled very professionally. The roofers arrived promptly on work day, and worked efficiently until the job was done. The job foreman kept good communication with us during the process so there were no surpises. The work site was cleaned well at the end of the job. No complaints here - we would recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof!
Description of Work: They stripped two layers of old shingles off the roof of the house and our backyard shed, replaced several sheets of decking that were worn out, and laid a completely new roof on both. They also installed a ridge vent and correctly vented the bathroom ceiling fan to bring it up to code.

Matt was the person I dealt with all the time from B&T Roofing. He was awesome!! He had great ideas, did research on different products and came up with great solutions for our challenging roof. When additional work needed to be done, He would have the cost and details all printed out. The end product was amazing. Anytime I would ask Matt to look at the roof to make sure a limb had not damaged any areas ,He would promptly come and inspect it for free. This company is such a great blessing to this area. We plan on using B&T Roofing for our next project which is siding. I know with this company doing all the work it will look amazing. THANK YOU MATT and B&T ROOFING!!!!!!I very highly recommend Matt and B&T Roofing for anyone who wants a quality roof, done right the first time in a prompt manner !!!!
Description of Work: They replaced our entire roof shingles removed and replaced rotten wood. They changed the look of the roof by using less old fashioned vented caps.They also installed seamless gutters and removed all the old materials.
I write such a great recommendation for Matt Kemp. The guy was superb. I also had a couple follow-up question/concerns. He came back twice to check on them and make sure I was satisfied. No questions asked.
Description of Work: The provider tuck-pointed the chimney above the roof line, rehung gutters that had fallen off, pulled insulation away from the baffles, reconnected two exhaust fans, and corrected the shingles along the side of the house (replaced shingles and installed appropriate flashing).

Called and quickly got an appt for someone to come diagnose the problem (minor leak in ceiling) and write an estimate. Robert quickly determined the problem and wrote an estimate which I accepted on the spot. Expected to have work done the following week and they called the next day and we were able to coordinate so they could get the work done that day. All is done and good. B&T has been consistently good. This is the third time I've used them.
Description of Work: Replaced boots around bathroom vents on roof.
