B&T Roofing did a GREAT JOB! They are a preferred contractor on the Owens Corning (and other manufacturers) websites. Greg was very responsive with initial call, initial visit, quotation and follow-up calls and visits. I found B&T Roofing to be very informative and willing to answer any and all my questions. They quoted the cost to replace my roof, as well as other options such as improve attic ventilation and install gutter guards. All three of these were performed. Todd's crew covered all bushes around the home and cleaned up everything after completing the work. A strong magnet was also swept over the entire area to collect nails. I have not found any nails...it works! The Owens Corning Duration (Amber color) shingles look Great. They are exactly what was expected. There was no pressure throughout the entire process. The materials used and the work performed was of the highest quality. B&T was very thorough and honest. They followed up on all items until they were completed. B&T Roofing went above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer...that's the way they do business. I quoted five (5) companies and found their pricing to be fair. They were not the lowest or the highest...their price was in the middle. In summary, B&T Roofing is an excellent company that is honest and provides a comprehensive service to replace your roof at a fair and reasonable price. I count myself as one of their many satisfied customers!

They came out and inspected the property to determine what repairs needed to be made. Estimate was fair and they were able to schedule the work for the following week. They were very friendly and professional. Repairs look great and were even able to perfectly match the exterior color on the replaced trim! Would highly recommend for exterior repairs!

Right from scheduling an estimate to scheduling the repairs, the entire experience was very professional. All inspections and repairs were done as promised and on time. Furthermore, the customer service was very responsive and helpful. B&T Roofing, you have a terrific team. I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Based on the other Angie's List reviews I'm surprised that I had a bad experience with B&T Roofing. They were way over-priced on the estimate compared to other well-rated Angie's List roofing companies (more than double). If that had been the only problem I would not be writing this because I think companies have a right to charge what they want. I'm giving the negative review because B&T, and one other roofing company, did not properly evaluate the problem and what they told me in the estimating process caused me a lot of difficulty with the mason company and could have cost me multiple thousands extra if I hadn't dug deeper for more information elsewhere. I had a leak in my living room that was the result of a flashing problem on my chimney. I hired a mason to repair the chimney and the mason company told me I would need a roofer to install the flashing and repair a rotten area on the roof next to the chimney. When Robert, the B&T Roofing estimate person came to look at the project, the mason had already removed my chimney and rebuilt it. My house was built in 1950 and has a structural stone chimney (weight bearing stone stacked upon each other). B&T Roofing estimator did not examine it closely and mistakenly assumed it was a cultured stone chimney (a concrete block chimney wall with thinner slices of stone glued on) and told me the mason had done the whole thing wrong and all the stone would need to be completely torn down again so that B&T could install the flashing. I'd just had the chimney re-built a couple days before so this was very upsetting. I was awake all night trying to figure out what to do and I then took the mason I'd hired to task and threatened not to pay the $3,000 invoice. As noted, another roofing company gave an estimate the same day and said the same thing so B&T is not the only company whose estimators don't have knowledge on an older chimney of this style. However, the other roofing company also gave me the name of a mason they use and sent that mason out to figure out what was needed. That second mason looked at my chimney and my two roofing estimates and explained to me that the B&T and other roofing estimator did not know what they were looking at and had made wrong assumptions that an interior chimney wall existed to which they could attach flashing under the stone. My first mason had properly set the stone at the bottom leaving a space for flashing for the type of chimney I have (obviously I had to apologize to the first mason for the prior conversation where I'd told them two roofers said they did the bottom of the chimney wrong). I sent B&T an email explaining their mistake. B&T emailed an estimate increasing the cost of the flashing installation from $1,235 to $1,585. No one from B&T called me to apologize or discuss the new estimate. This B&T estimate was for flashing only and stated that they could not determine the charge for the rotten roof deck repair until after they began work and they would add that charge later so the $1,585 quote represents only half my project. The company I hired charged $770 for both the flashing and the deck repair (the entire project).

Excellent and friendly personnel who answered all questions and provided suggestions for maintaining the roof and extending its longevity. Office staff were friendly on the phone; workers were courteous and prompt. Talked most extensively with Matt, who was very insightful and informative. I will employ the same company for all future roof work.

Robert was very prompt and professional. He was personable and listened attentively to the problem we were having. He observed the location and asked questions to fully understand the issue. Upon his recommendation he replaced a shingle (we provided the new one) that was improperly placed where water might be entering from. He said it was a courtesy call and to please call right away if it didn't fix the problem. I will definitely call B & T in the future and consider them for our roofing needs.

I wish that all of the contractors that I hire were this responsive & professional.

The end result is great. There were bumps in the road but the owner came out and met with me and took control of the job and completed it to his and my own standards. Very professional and polite owner who'd I'd recommend to anyone. Things happen and it's how this company handled the situation and themselves is why I'd rank them an A and do it all over again with them.

Work was done in several hours and clean up was completed.

Very well. We were quoted to have the wood replaced as well, but when we saw it wasn't, the bill was adjusted accordingly and we also used the Angie's List coupon. A very fair price.

They were on time, nice, did a good job, and cleaned up before they left. They were super and did a great job.

It went well. The company representative, Robert Bills, was very nice and helpful. He found only one shingle that was warped as the nail had worked its way out. He nailed it down and looked over the rest of the roof. He said we didn't need any further repairs or replacements at this time. He did mention that one side of our roof seemed to be aging faster, probably due to its location (south side of the house with more sunshine). We appreciated his honesty and that he didn't try to sell us a new roof when one wasn't necessary.

They were responsive on the bid. The price was comparable to the company I used.

He was really friendly but not super professional. He did follow up but they were just to high.He emailed me the quote and called a few times to be sure I got it. It was more of a conversation and had a different feel. It wasn't as in depth as another company we got a quote from. It seemed high to me.

I had my kitchen painted and landscaping done so I didn't have the money for it but I still have the estimate. They were very good and seemed to think they could do the work. They were very professional and nice.

They were good. They were very easy to work with and prompt. It took only one day for the crew to make the repairs.

They did exactly what they said they would do. When they where here to do the initial estimate, the workman said do you mind if I have my boss come out. He came and said you really need a whole new roof. He advised to check with my insurance because they may cover it. I checked and they payed all but $1500.00. I would have not thought to check otherwise because I thought that was just normal wear and tear. It cost exactly the amount of the final estimate. They said it would take about 2 days and it did. Each day they got done, they cleaned up before they left. One day they where here so late it was almost dark out. I said "hey you guys are still here", they said "yeah we are just cleaning up". They where using a cell phone flash light to make sure they got under the bushes. I was pretty impressed with that. I would give them the highest possible rating.

Richie and Brian showed up about 15 minutes early, they wore clearly marked B&T shirts, and they worked the entire time they were here. At the end, I asked if they had used the yard magnet (mostly because I was curious what it looked like), but Brian replied that they used a large trash bag the entire time because it was a comparatively small job. He then did a final search through the area to ensure he picked up everything, and I was happy to find later that he indeed cleaned up all the remaining piece of wood/metal/trash. Also, they left the remaining gallon of paint with us. I would highly recommend B&T to anyone in need of soffit/fascia repair!

Everything went great. I worked with Robert throughout the entire process. I was hesitant to do the repairs as they were quite intensive, and I wanted to make sure that the repairs would end any of my problems instead of a full replacement. Robert was always knowledgeable and willing to listen to my worries. Robert gave me expert recommendations and I truly trusted him. He came to our house multiple times and took multiple phone calls before even starting the work. The crew did a great job and Robert was always in touch about when to expect them and what they were doing. I will be using B&T again in the future because of Robert.

The work they did was fine, but the problem was not with the roof or soffit, but rather a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink.

We had them come out to give us an estimate on siding that was bowing out. They were very nice and professional, however I had another company come out this morning who was absolutely shocked that they didn't just pop the siding back into place due to the minimal effort it would take. After talking to this other company I felt that B&T didn't care about our home at all, but instead about getting money for something that to others was an easy fix that they wouldn't charge us for.
