Description of Work: Full duct cleaning (vents, receivers and mains) plus dryer vent for 2250 sq ft house. $299 Angie's List deal plus $50 added charge for the square footage over 2100 covered by deal plus $35 for dryer vent add-on for a total of $385. It's more than I wanted to spend, but seems to be about the going rate for such services by a reputable company. There were cheaper companies (well, at least advertised as such), but decided not to roll the dice with them. | |We had just moved into the house and knew the duct work was left pretty dirty by prior owners, so it needed done. It ended up taking close to 3 hours by the time they were through; I think it's generally 2 hours but the dryer vent provided some extra challenges. 2 guys came and did very thorough work from what I could tell...Kevin and Gil I believe were their names. I asked probably more than a few annoying questions but they were more than happy to answer and were very friendly as I sometimes followed them around to see what exactly they were doing. | |They arrived in an unmarked white van with trailer...for being an established company, seems they ought to slap a company name and logo on the side of their work vehicle for added visibility and credibility. No big deal, just my general opinion added. :) | |Anyhow, glad to have the ducts and vents all cleaned. Dryer works much more efficiently as well. Good work.

Description of Work: Whole house duct cleaning. We had not had the ducts cleaned since we moved in, and we had done remodeling. They took the time needed for a good cleaning. We can definitely feel more air moving through the house.

Description of Work: They came to my house at the appointment time and cleaned all my ducts and also cleaned my dryer vent. The two-man team that came out were very friendly and did a really good job.

Description of Work: The provider is advertised as Central Ohio and surrounding states. They refused to come to our area that is only 31 miles from their address in Westerville, Ohio stating that it was over 120 miles per google and they stated they only go to Delaware for Angies list that is not listed in their ad. We are 1 mile from the delaware line.

Description of Work: Cleaned whole house air duct system. Employees arrived on time, courteous, & performed services requested. Price was fair/Angie's Deal. My air ducts had never been cleaned since the house was built in 1969. I notice a BIG difference in heat & air conditioning distribution through the ducts since the cleaning. I also notice a reduction in dust on my furniture. The only suggestion I would make is that workers lay cloths or rugs down because they tracked a lot of dust & dirt on my wood floors. I would suggest shoe covers as well. I give them a "B" on cleaning up after their work. Overall they did a pretty good job & I would call them again to clean my ducts.

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List $299 air duct cleaning with unlimited vents. Arrived right on time on a Monday at 9:00am. Both technicians seemed very experienced in duct cleaning and trustworthy. I seemed to have a very different system in place with vents in the ceiling upstairs, and my furnace settings in my newly purchased home were all wrong for summer A/C. They reset and labeled all of the valves, and checked my filters for the furnace and home humidifier. They educated me on the pros/cons of my air duct system, and how to most efficiently operate my A/C and furnace in order to get the most air flow and efficiency from them. Whole process took no more than 2 hours from arrival. Very trustworthy, efficient, and helpful. The A/C person that I had doing maintenance told me the air ducts were "bad"..."probably never been cleaned". However, these guys said that the air ducts were about what they would expect for the style of system and time since they were last cleaned (9 years). Will definitely call again and I am satisfied with the Angie's list deal.
