American Air Purification

From purchasing the service through Angie's List to the actual work being completed, I am thoroughly impressed and happy with American Air Purification. After purchasing the service, I was contacted by American Air Purification to schedule our appointment. The two gentlemen arrived right on time and were able to complete the work in two hours. While they were in our home, they were professional and courteous, and explained everything as they worked. I'm very impressed with the overall service of American Air Purification and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for services such as air duct cleaning.

Did a great job cleaning out the furnace lines. They left with their clothes covered in dust, so they did some removal in the system for sure. Happy with the customer service and I had them do the dryer vent for an extra $35. Good company and service. House feels cleaner and I feel like my furnace is working more efficiently, but maybe that's just me.

They arrived on-time, and were courteous and professional. The job was completed much more quickly than I expected, and we were very satisfied with the results.

All went well. Arrived on time. Very professional the entire time. Kept the house as clean as possible by putting down paper and, at times, wearing booties. The whole house only took about 1.5 hours, so they were definitely efficient as well. Very friendly guys, very experienced. We had never had the ducts cleaned before, but we are hoping this will help with allergy/sinus problems. We will see.

They came on time and they did a very good job and I would use them a gain in the future.

The duct cleaning went very well! I had no idea, but our ducts were very dirty! The cleaner from AAP mentioned there was a lot of drywall dust in the ducts, and thought that was interesting and a little unusual. Possibly from the work done on the house. But, nothing to worry about. Also, he found that the register in the guest bedroom does nothing and goes nowhere. At some point in the house's renovation, the duct to that room got removed. Since we are new home owners, all this detail went a long way to understanding the house better and what sort of fixes we have in front of us.

They were really knowledgeable and considerate. They asked if they could park their truck on my driveway. They were quite tidy expect for one incident but they cleaned it right away when I approached them about it. They showed me what they pulled from the ducts. There was a large hole in one of the ducts that was covered in duct tape and he installed a metal plate inside with out asking.

It went really well. I previously checked all of the rooms for the vents. Two technicians came out and used their own generated power. They took all the vents off and replaced them. They worked efficiently. They were neat. There wasn’t anything scratched or left undone. Their feedback made me feel comfortable. They accommodated my schedule. I decided to use them based on their reviews and when I called them about their procedures.

The company's staff were punctual, explained the process and advised me of the outcome of the cleaning. We even discussed the benefits of air duct maintenance. This service is important especially for those folks who have allergies and who have pets. I would recommend this service company and I will use them again.

Initially we couldn't get it scheduled since my work schedule is very busy and so is theirs. However finally we settled on a date and they were awesome. My house presented several challenges (including parking) and they managed to tackle all the obstacles with much professionalism. I was impressed. They were very thorough, fast, and efficient. I will definitely hire them again.

The service was great. They did a good job. They pointed out some other points that would improve circulation and stuff. So, they were real good. We were able to schedule pretty quickly. They did good work. They have good customer service. It was an all-around good experience. Everything was good. I had no complaints at all.

Arrived on time. Took meticulous care in keeping every thing clean. Replaced all air duct covers.

Service was wonderful would definitely use this company again. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time were friendly, thorough and knowledgeable.

update 16 Feb 2015. I just had my ducts video scoped. I have a copy of the video. This company just cleaned my ducts 5 months ago and the video shows the following: 1. tin can missed in duct work. 2. several child's marbles and small toy. Has to be from previous owner as their are no small kids in this home. 3. plenty of left over gravel and dirt that they missed. Now I know why they did not have video camera. I would not use this company again. Called and spoke with Jeff to set up a date to have my air ducts in slab cleaned out. Kevin and Brian showed up 29 Aug 2014 to do the work. They hooked up a vacuum hose to closest register to front outside window and hooked this hose to their bag outside. They then used a vacuum to vacuum the cold air return / filter to furnace. [about 2 ft of ducting]. They then used a high pressure hose to blow all the dirt, starting at each register, to central well below furnace. My ducts are configured in a spoke/wheel layout and appear to be cement-lined, but only guessing since no camera inspection was performed. They did this for all 7 ducts then drilled 2 each 1-in holes in bottom of furnace to insert high pressure hose to blow out and clean dirt that had accumulated in well and inspect well and bottom of furnace A frame. My issue with the company is that what they advertise on Angie's List as their business description and what I got are two different things. I quote the Ad: " What our customers can expect from us: We will conduct a thorough inspection of the system PRIOR to performing any work and alert the consumer to any problems, as required by the current NADCA ACR Standard We offer up front pricing so that there are no surprises We do complete system cleaning, including the blower motor, drain pan and coils, using source removal practice at no additional cost" They did no prior or post inspection because their camera had been stolen from vehicle a week prior to my appointment per Kevin. I did get an upfront price quote prior to them arriving based on my phone description which they honored. If they cleaned the blower motor, drain pan and coils, I do not know how they did this without removal of covers. Only thing I seen them do is insert the high pressure air hose in the drilled out 1 in hole and vacuum from the top air intake. They were unable to look at my ducts due to missing camera , so I still do not know what the condition of the ducts are after the cleaning. The inspection is the main reason I chose this company over others so I am disappointed. As far as the other services advertised, I was interested in other services, so I asked the crew. The crew that showed up at my house only did duct cleaning. So much for any remediation service that I might be interested in. With the promises versus what actually happened, I can not recommend this company.

It was difficult to get it scheduled because they would only send messages on Angie's List. This was an issue because I rarely have a chance to check the messages. I definitely would have preferred a call from the company to schedule. We actually had it scheduled once and due to potential bad weather, it was cancelled. The problem with this is that I never received a call from the company letting me know they would not make it. I feel like the communication from them was terrible. With that being said, once we did get it scheduled, the guys who performed the work were wonderful. They were very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They certainly redeemed the company and all of the previous issues. The only thing I didn't like is that they did not wear booties when walking on my carpet. I know this is hard to find, but it would go a long way towards the professionalism of the company.

It went well, they worked around my cat and did an outstanding job! The technicians were polite, professional, and efficient.

Kevin and Gil were very professional. They cleaned all the air ducts. Let me know what they found. Cleaned the dryer vent. Pointed out that the dryer vent had screws on it which needed to be replaced with tape to prevent lint from getting caught in the vent and building up to cause a lint fire.

Bought the deal and was pleasantly pleased with their work. They were able to work with my schedule. They were prompt, professional, and did a good job. Would recommend for future work.

While our A/C system is working fine, the air distribution is not working well, and part of the house cools better than the other part. We purchased A/C duct cleaning service and thought they would take care of this problem. However, when I discussed it with Jeff, he came and l looked at the problem and recommended different type of service using a different company. Jeff was punctual, professional, and honest.

This was the first time we purchased a Big Deal and it was a very good experience. The two guys arrived on time and began work promptly. They explained what they would be doing and answered all our questions. They were very professional and courteous. There was no mess or debris, and they completed the job in the time period discussed. Our house is a 45 year old home, and we doubt that the air ducts had ever been cleaned. We decided to get the ducts cleaned to see if it would cut down on dust accumulation within the home. It did. We also think the air within the house actually smells cleaner and it seems easier to breathe. We will absolutely use this company again for duct cleaning.

They were quick and thoughtful. It was an extremely cold day, so they did everything they could to keep from freezing us out while the furnace was turned off.
