Very well. Showed up on time. Very helpful and professional.

Shawn and Rollo showed up on time and inspected the system and all zones. Rollo repaired the cut line and then they completed the back flow inspection. They also identified, repaired and replaced the damaged heads and rotors. Shawn gave me a tutorial on the systems programming and his recommendations which I appreciated. They were both very professional. Prior to doing any of the additional repairs Shawn provided an estimate. I observed the entire process and knew which sprinklers were in need of replacement. I felt no pressure to do anything extra or have anything sold to me during the process which I appreciate. They also put the landscaping beds and stone back exactly how they found it.

AK Irrigation winterized our sprinkler system in Autumn 2012. At the time the service person noticed that the system did not have a backflow regulator. We did not know that because the system came that way when we purchased the house less than one year ago. He said the company normally would not perform repairs on the system without the backflow, but the tech did anyway. The price they charged for the winterization was the cheapest in town, to my knowledge. We recently had the same company, AK Irrigation, install the backflow regulator. The service person was on time for the installation and performed the service efficiently. However, the service person charged us for a "spring opening" service that we did not request. I called the company after the installation and complained about the charge and they removed the charge. I also got to use the Angie's List $15 coupon. I was treated with respect and kindness by the company and they were gracious in removing the chrage. I am very happy with this company overall because they handled by dispute well, they come on time to appointments, perform good work, and charge a fair price.

Everything went well. Repairs were made. The 6 stations were checked and adjustments were made as necessary. The price seemed reasonable for the work completed. This is the second or third year that I have used AK. Their staff is friendly and always willing to answer my questions or concerns. I asked for an estimate on a few modifications to my system and I am waiting for their estimates on the cost. I told them it was not urgent and could wait til later this summer.

Overall performance was very satisfactory.

I filled out a form on their website and Aaron the owner called me back in a few days. He said he would stop by and take a look that night. We sat down and discussed the quality of the parts he uses and how everything would work. He was happy to answer any questions that I had. They came and finished the job in a day and did a very good job repairing the places that were dug up for the install. When I came home from work, the technician went over every feature of the system and then walked around the house to show me how everything worked. We are very happy with the work. My neighbor recommended them and now I will recommend them to others.

Everyone I spoke with was very nice (on the phone and in person) and explained exactly what they needed to do for the winterization. I'm getting ready to purchase another one of their deals today to de-winterize the system!

They gave me a window of 8AM-10AM and showed up shortly after 10AM, but once the technician arrived he went about his work in a quick and professional manner, and took the time to show me a few things.

Didn't hear from them for almost a week, then got a call that they would come out and do an estimate "whenever they could get to it." After a few more weeks, contacted them again and they said they were too busy with service calls to do an estimate, but would try to get to it. Never heard from them again. This is not the type of communication I would expect from a top-rated professional company. If they are not taking new customers due to an overloaded schedule, that's fine, but I wish they would have told me that instead of waiting around for over a month to get an estimate.

I hired AK Irrigation to winterize my irrigation system and they not only winterized it but did a complete test along with recommendations on which zones needed to be fixed immediately and which zones could wait until later. They were prompt, courteous and worked with me to come up with realistic recommendations on how to make the best of an irrigation system that had not been in use for multiple years. Would definitely recommend.
