Their group of 6 men arrived at 9:00 and began installing a complete lawn irrigation system. One man worked in the basement to install plumbing and electrical, the rest worked in the yard to install sprinklers and water lines. They notified us when the water would be turned off, and then 30 minutes later it was back on. After they had set up the system the lead man walked through how the system operated, and verified with me the 10 zones of sprinklers. They cleaned up everything very well, and were finished by 4:30..The did the whole installation in the rain...Very professional crew..

BEWARE NOT RECOMMENDED. AK IRRIGATION CONSERVA irrigation Received numerous emails and calls wanting to come winterize. Told I have another company, ask several times to STOP contacting me. They randomly sent out a tech. I told him to leave the property else I’ll call the police. Called company again and told them this is unprofessional and unethical business practice. Office manager then hung up on me. Filing a BBB complaint.

This company seems to prefer new installations for which they offer 5 years of warranty. The initial installation of the irrigation system went OK for which i paid them $2850.00 without blinking. Now, when it comes to support and servicing their own installation, AK Irrigation is nowhere to be found. Granted, my system was damaged by the city which removed a tree that messed up a sidewalk. I called to ask AK Irrigation if they can repair what was damaged by the city workers and they are not responsive at all. They said that will come to me next year. Not happy at all.

Used this company for 6 years now. Always responsive and does a great job.

The original install went well, however, the in house pipes started linking one day later. It took two return services calls to fix it. The second call was a different installer who did a rework to fix the problem. I must say that even with the problem, I am happy with the company and system. The owner answered my call personally (even when he was out of town on the weekend) each time I called. He handled the problem very professionally.

BACKFLOW Water Inspection and Testing went as expected

We requested a quote via phone message. After two weeks of no response, I left a message using their website. I received an email from them, and they said they would come by our place to get information. After two more weeks, I emailed a second time. I received no reply, but someone showed up at our house about a week later to create an estimate. It has been three weeks, and we still have not received an estimate. I would have loved to use a local, family-owned business. I was also in a position to be patient. However, my patience has run out, and I no longer have the time to wait. I wish I had the same experience as others.

Couldn’t get on the schedule for nearly two months. Within a week of the appointment they rescheduled me without my consent for three weeks even further out. Too much hassle. Went with someone else and very happy i did.

I’ve been using AK Irrigation for 6+ years on multiple properties I own; I won’t be using them again. We did set an appointment for system upgrade and expansion in advance for opening they have, which was a middle of the day. Owner never showed up for our appointment nor did he have the decency to call and let me know. I wasn’t even told he wasn’t coming until I called an hour into my scheduled appointment. Lost half of my work day! I’ve requested a call back from the owner with no success and although. This is not how you treat customers! After ownership changed it is going down pretty quick. Will recommend think twice before use them!

They do a great job. They are timely, responsive, available and the do quality work. i've used them every year for as long as I can remember.

We have been AK irrigation's customer from 2011 to 2017, I even introduce new customers for them, there is no issue until last year, after sprinkler turn-on service last spring, they billed us extra money from the contract, when we asked about where did extra charges came from, they said they fixed our broken sprinkler and they assume we were okay with that and proceed WITHOUT our authorization. We have no issue with our sprinkler and they refuse to remove charges we were not agreed. We are very disappointed with their response and service, its time to switch service provider.

They came out troubleshooted what was wrong and got it operating correctly very professional crew

Replaced rotor sprinkle heads and billed us without our permission, contacted them and they said these sprinkle heads won't cost a lot of money so they assume we are okay to do the work without letting us know in advance.

They usually do excellent work they need to train new employees better. He took a part that never had been removed before by techs, 20 years before, I caught it when I inspected his work. He took the part completely off and had it in his tool box on the truck for no reason. He also almost stripped the white nylon drain nut, needs training on. How to use a pipe wrench

They did an excellent job getting it routed around the large tree and were very particular about making sure my grass was back in place correctly. They used a large trenching machine and the clean up was spotless. My grass has grown back in can't even tell where the repair was done. Professionals from start to finish.

They turned on the irrigation system and supposedly did a system check. Two weeks later the sprinkler system wasn't working so I kept the original appointment with the competitor. The technician replaced a valve, discovered a sprinkler head that had been blacktopped over and reset the sprinkler head angles to achieve maximum spray coverage - all things that should have been caught by AK when they did their system check. Next spring when I need my sprinklers turned on I will wait the extra time to avoid have AK at my house.

Great. The associate showed up within the time frame. He was also polite and professional.

I was comfortable with their pricing and impressed by their responsiveness on the quote. I was told we could schedule the install the next week (which was much sooner than I thought would be possible). The crew arrived on time, did a one-day installation of a system requiring 12 zones, and left my yard in good shape. I have already recommended them to neighbors and would hire them again if I ever needed another system put in.

They do everything timely, and have been very easy to work with. They do exactly what they say they will do.

We are under contract with them. They come twice. They come to turn it on and then to turn it off. They just maintain it.
