After very thorough evaluation, he informed us that the defective part was no longer available. He advised us on best replacement options as well as best disposal options. Very professional, very thorough, very direct. And a nice guy as well.

I left a message through Angie's List and the provider contacted me promptly. I told him about the problem ( gas range where the burners and the broiler were working, but the oven would not heat to bake) and he predicted it was the igniter and gave me an estimate. He was willing to schedule a Saturday service call -- very helpful! He told me he would call before leaving for my home to give me a time estimate. He did call, gave a time estimate and arrived promptly. He took a quick look at the oven and confirmed his initial prediction, quickly completed the repair and allowed me to clean the parts of the oven that are usually not visible before putting the oven back together. Final cost was the same as the estimate. He was friendly and professional throughout my interactions with him. I will definitely use this provider for future appliance repairs!!

Excellent service. Easy was polite, good natured, allowed my son who was interested in what he was doing to learn about how a dryer works, fixed it quickly, cleanly, ensured that it worked and that the vent wasn't blocked and finished in about 45 minutes. I wish every contractor experience was as good as this was and I will definitely use them again.

The technician Easy came without 5 hours of my calling. He was professional and fixed the frig in a few minutes!!! I was amazed how quickly he recognized the problem and fixed it. A+++ person and company! I recommend them as superior!

I would recommend this company and use again if needed. I called and he came out the next day. He told me he would be here sometime in the afternoon. He called and let me know he would be here within 15 minutes. He fixed my gas burners quickly and explained the problem. He was very polite and even like my dog!

Easy was our repairman and he was just outstanding. After giving us an estimate, he had to go get a part and go to another scheduled call. We told him it was fine to wait until the next day to come back, but he returned the same afternoon and stayed until he could run through a cycle to make sure it was no longer leaking. It was 7:00 before he left. We have used A-1 Appliance Repair several times, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They just charged a nominal service charge. I like that they were professional. They were honest and they had my trust.

Very pleased with services. Merchant arrived at my home during the time frame promised and was very efficient. They diagnosed the issue and repaired within an hour. Very polite, clean and professional. I thought it was kind of expensive but I have nothing to compare this too. Overall they got my refrigerator up and going 2 days before Christmas! I'm thankful. All other companies were difficult to schedule! Will most assuredly hire again if a need arises and recommend to family and friends.

He told me this is a common problem with front loaders and that he would not advise doing the repair. I had done some research on this and what he said was consistent with what I had read from other sources. I appreciated his honesty and am thankful I didn't have to pay to have a technician come out to tell me the exact same thing.

My refrigerator in rental had stopped working and they did an inspection on it. I think it was like a fan belt or something like that. They most of the cost was for the replacement part. I remember calling around to several providers and they seemed to be most friendly and was to come out right away. I live in another state and this was at my rental property. They set time up with my renter and got it taken care of.

I called to have A-1 Appliance come out to repair my new (less than two years) LG dryer. I had researched the problem online and indicated that I thought it was something to do with the main computer board. I described to him how the machine was not working; it would turn on and light up but I could not choose a setting - He said he would come out later in his already busy schedule to make a diagnostic. I received a call just after lunch time, and he stated that he had done some looking online and figured out that my Child Lock had somehow been set. (Funny, it locks out older folks as well!) He walked me through the process of un-locking the setting and I was on my way to washing and drying within minutes. I would definitely refer A-1 Appliance to anyone - Honesty and Integrity go a long way - Thanks

It went fine. My washer and dryer are working. He came and check them out left to get the parts and had them going in 15 mins.

I thought the seal might have to be replaced because the door to the fridge would not close tightly unless forced. I called A-1, explained the problem. He suggested the problem could be remedied by adjusting the legs on the the bottom, and some people can take care of this without his help. I told him I'd like him to come service it, and he was here the next morning. He called on his way to be sure someone was here, arrived shortly afterwards, and fixed it in no time, charging me for a service call only. I have called this company in the past and was very satisfied with the results and turnaround time. This latest call was just as great. I would recommend this company,

My washing machine stopped in mid cycle. I called and they came out that day. They arrived within 30 minutes of when they said they would be here. He diagnosed the problem within about 15 minutes, offered and estimate and fixed it within an hour. My repair technician was a fellow by the name of Easy. Very personable and soft spoken. He also explained that the loud think I was hearing when the spin cycle stopped was the brake going. He said it should work fine with the noise for many years and would not spend the money to fix it. This is actually the second time in the past month I had used them. The first time was when my fridge quit cooling. they came out and diagnosed that the compressor was shot. He said it would be about 600 dollars to get it repaired. He recommended not getting it repaired but to buy a new fridge instead. I asked for a recommendation and he was honest. He said all manufacturers had problems, but some tended not to have cooling system problems, which were the most expensive to fix. He gave me several brands that tended to have fewer cooling system brands. One of which I bought. Overall I could not be happier with this company and will use them again.

Easy repaired our refrigerator issue the same day. Pricing was very reasonable. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Refrigerator and freezer kept developing ice. the A-! repair person immediately diagnosed problem and recommended a fix. He was not able to fix problem that day so came back next day. Before each visit, he called and told us when he would be arriving. This was extremely helpful. The repair seems to working great. His price was very competitive. He also provided some suggestions on how to prevent this problem from occurring again as well as other preventive maintenance ideas. I would highly recommend. He is not flashy or a sales person; rather, a reliable and fair individual who will fix your problem. the ideal type of appliance repair person.

He was helpful even on the phone. He knew what was wrong from what I was describing and suggested something that I might be able to do myself to correct the problem. However, I did not have another refrigerator to put my food into. So he was able to come out the next day. The technician was friendly and efficient as I had an appointment I needed to make. The price was what was quoted to me on the phone.

Washer came up with an error message and I called to talk to Easy...super helpful gentleman that literally advised me how to check to see if it was a "clog." I managed to fix my washer!!! Highly recommended...very fair and will use in the future.

On March 25th I spoke with Esy a Technician, he knew exactly what was wrong with my Frigidaire Gallery Washer as soon as I described my problem over the phone. He advised me that the repair cost would be equal to purchasing a new one. Even though I opted to get a new washer, I appreciated his honest advice.

The experience was very good. The gentleman was very honest, and I appreciated his honesty. My dryer had stopped working, and I called him over the weekend, and he came on Tuesday, because I wasn't able to be here on Monday. He was very quick and prompt.

The time had lapsed on the warranty and it wasn't covered. Because A-1 would have had to order the part we went with the warranty provider.

I appreciated his honesty and I only had to pay the cost of the service call. I would call this company again if I need another appliance repaired.
