The radon mitigation system was done and it works, however for two days I listened to the installer complaint about this company.

The Installer Brian called ahead to say he was on his way which allowed us time to run errands rather than waiting at the house all day. Brian was very neat and efficient and cleaned up as he worked. The job took about 2.5 hours. The price was cheaper than the competition. Note to other shoppers the companies don't come out and inspect ahead of time.

Per a recommendation of a friend, I contacted SWAT Environmental for my Radon problem. Upon calling them, the owner, Tony Mowrer, gave me a full explanation of Radon and the process of mitigating the problem. We made an appointment and he came out. He did not go down into my crawlspace, he just looked down into it, with a flashlight. He informed me that my access entrance to it was too small, and I would have to contact a contractor to enlarge the access point. He stated that, per OSHA rules, it HAD to be at least 3'x3'. Obviously that would be a problem, given that the entrance was in the closet under my stairs. There wasn't even room for a 3'x3' hole. The stairs would have had to be re-built and support beams under my home affected. I thanked him and called another company. They came out and did the work with no problem at all.

The radon level went from 10.0 to 1.0 pCi/l. The price was $305.00 cheaper than my first bid The installation was completed in 2 1/2 hours. tony was on time and on budget. the areas where the work was done were left clean. No extra clean up was needed. He tested the system to ensure it was working properly and showed me everything he did. The included follow on radon test showed the system was working as designed and my radon levels were greatly reduced and well under the maximum level. Great job!

The service turned out excellent! They did an excellent job, we had no issues, they were on time and courteous. Would use them again if I needed to.

Everyone was very courteous. We got service within a week of our call. They arrived when they said they would & they called ahead of time. We got a correct estimate of the time it would take to install. They went right to work after checking with us as to where we wanted to locate the system. They had to drill two holes; one in the basement floor & one in our crawl space. Everything was cleaned up & nothing was left out of place. When we tested for radon it registered 17 & 21 the second time. Today we got the report one week after installation and the radon is now at 1.9. I would definitely recommend them.

Tony Mowrer confirmed with a detailed quote and performed the work on the date as promised. He is very professional and the work was excellent. He cleaned up all debris from the installation. He also made sure all questions were answered and he presented an overview of how the system works and what to check in terms of maintenance. Overall the entire process was excellent!

They fit me in earlier than scheduled. They were very professinal and informative. Told me what they were going to do and where the pipes would rund. They finished sooner than they thought. Then tested the levels and everything works great.
