Description of Work: The movers were very nice, but unfamiliar with some of the furniture being moved which resulted in breakage of an antique grandmother clock & a swivel desk chair, among other items. They also left parts from a bed (metal braces) on the truck and initially denied that they had the pieces. I called about the pieces later that moving day when I could not find them with the other bedroom furniture. The pieces were delivered after several days, and the bed could then be assembled.

Description of Work: They broke the door on my washing machine and they carried my furniture upside down. They called me the day after I reported them to the Better Business Bureau to fix my washer. They still haven't fixed my washer. I actually need a whole new door. The man they referred me to is very nice, but very slow at coming out.

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with how thorough and careful they were with the whole process. I was really impressed with how organized they were and how careful with the whole process, particularly with wrapping it for transport.
Description of Work: They moved a baby grand piano from a neighbor's house to our house. The whole process of disassembling, wrapping, moving and re-assembling took about three hours.

+ -1 moreI HAD CHOSEN THIS COMPANY BY WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISING. EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE PROMPT ABOUT GETTING THERE AND WERE FRIENDLY, I PERSONALLY FELT THAT THEY DID NOT MOVE AS IF I WAS GETTING THE MOST PAYING BY THE HOUR FOR A JOB. ALSO, THINGS WERE HAPHAZARDLY THROWN INTO THE STORAGE UNIT WITHOUT ORGANIZATION. IT MADE LIFE UNTIL WE MOVED AGAIN MORE DIFFICULT.
Description of Work: I WAS MOVING FROM A 3 BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE TO A STORAGE UNIT AWAITING A MOVE TO A NEW HOUSE. I HAD A LOT OF SMALL BOXES AND ALL WAS MARKED. IT WAS ESTIMATED TO BE ROUGHLY $300.00. THEY ADDED ANOTHER MAN, WHICH ADDED MONEY AND DID NOT DO THE WORK AT A QUICKER PACE. THIS DOUBLED THE AMOUNT ESTIMATED.
