Called on a Thursday or Friday. Was told they would be out on Monday. Never showed and no call. Called to find out if they were still coming. Said they would try for later in the day or Tuesday. Never showed, no call. I had to call them 2-3 times a day to see when they would come. Finally, they said they would come on Friday. They never showed and never called. I got someone else to do the job.

Gary set it up, and Ken did the work. Everything was done very professionally and to my satisfaction. They were both very helpful.
Description of Work: I had a long list of honey-do items, some bigger than others. Flush 2 tankless hot water heaters, replace 1 outdoor spicket completely and the handle on another, replace a shower head, replace a bathtub spout and drain cover, change out a temperature balancing spool, install a instahot in my kitchen, and replace the insides of 4 toilets. A LOT.

It all went very well. They were prompt and very helpful, even on short notice.
Description of Work: I thought I had a system problem because the outside heat pump was not running, so I called for service right away. They came to our house in about an hour. It turns out that the Duke Energy power management system had temporarily shut off the outside unit. Since the serviceman was already at my house, I had him do the usual annual heating cooling checkup. I normally have that work done each fall anyway. He added refrigerant, since it was down a bit.

The following did not take nearly as long to transpire as it did to write and edit: Tri County Plumbing Heating and Air contioning was contracted by the property owner for a water main replacement on 9/172014. I have the adjoining property for my business. I do not know the quality of the actual repair but feel that you need to know about the employee or contractor that this company used to represent themselves that will be doing the work for you... We asked the employees to please move (to the side of their choice) 1 box truck and 1 trailer that they had parked across and in the middle of my parking area. The 2 men agreed and moved 1 truck ASAP without incident but advised that they were not able to move the trailer until a different truck returned. No problem. About 15-20 minutes later a gentleman was banging on our door. My wife answered as he walked away and asked 3 times " How can we help you?" from that point it was all down hill even tho I was on the phone which I quickly put on speaker as I walked out to see what was going on. Now, mind you all I had asked is that they move to either side of my lot, not totally leave, just move out of the middle. The man older gentleman and driver of the Chevrolet utility and excavator driver proceeded to be beligerent, swear at us, threaten to punch me, and tell my wife to shut up...etc. all before we could even say anything. Again, all we did was ask that they move a trailer but all he wanted to do was fight and threaten because he had to stop to move it.. We told him he was being recorded not only on 3 taping video cameras but also that there was someone listening in on the phone that was visible. He said "I don't f-ing care" even when we said we were calling the police which we did. Very slowly since he could see that we were not wiling to get physical nor get verbally abusive he decided to hook up his trailer. He also contacted the lady that hired him and Tri County Plumbing Heating and air conditioning and told her a completely different story then what had actually happened. Remember we have 2 witnesses and all of this on video. Finally, yes he moved as we had asked. Yes the police arrived and told them to stay off the property or face criminal trespass with a physical threat. All we had asked was to just park on the side of our lot, either right side or left, just not in the middle...we never asked him to leave. So I am not able to tell you the quality of their work and I am not about to say anything about that, I am just trying to inform about about the type of people you will be getting on your property... Someone that is willing and threatening to assault you.
Description of Work: Dig up and replace water main / employee or sub contractor threatened physical assault. This person represents this company.

They provide annual service to me, and their pricing is reasonable. The quality of their service and everything is good. When you make an appointment with them, they show up and they call just before to tell you they are on their way. They are very knowledgeable on what they are doing. They explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. I am very happy with their service.

Gary and his employees do top-notch work. I've had quite a bit of work done in my house by Tri County Plumbing and they always do a great job. Our hot weater went out, and knew we were on borrowed time with our furnace and a/c unit as well. Tri County Plumbing replaced all of the above mentioned. The area where my furnace/water heater are located is very, very small and difficult to work in. They did a great job getting everything replaced, and cleaned up after the job. Their responsiveness is fantastic and they are very kind and respectful while doing the work. They've also replaced an outside spicket, and other various plumbing issues I've had. I wouldn't use anyone other than Tri County Plumbing Heating and Air.

They installed the line with minimal digging in the front yard. I lost only one shrub. In the process they sealed the water service entry into my house and corrected a leakage problem than had been their for a couple of years. I'd recommend them.

It was very good. I have to say I'm sort of waiting to make sure that the problem has been corrected because the problem was with low water pressure. What happens is that my sister and I have an adjoined apartment. So in the past when she and I are taking showers at the same time the water goes off. They were very pleasant and tried to make sure the problem was complete before they left. I have used them before and I was pleased with them. If the problem wasn't fixed I'm sure that I could call them and they would come out right away, they are very prompt.

I had believed for some time that I needed a new main water shutoff valve because the current one had lots of corrosion and started leaking recently. I had put it off because I expected this to be rather costly. I also had cracked PVC plumbing under my kitchen sink that I wanted replaced. After the 2 men from Tri County Plumbing arrived and inspected both issues, there was a good news and bad news. The good news was that the main water shut-off did not need replacing. They tightened the packing nut and cleaned up the corrosion for a cost of $42. Under my kitchen sink, however, we discovered that there was waste water leaking from the pipe that exits the rear of the cabinet and feeds into the waste trap behind the wall. They give me a best case / worst case estimate before starting the work. After I consented, they went to work. The problem was just as they had suspected, the copper pipe had eroded over time (home is 42 years old). They were able to replace the bad section of the piping while making only a small cut into the back of the cabinet. It was pretty much the best case scenario that they had described before starting the work. The cost was in line with their pre-work estimate. However, there was a $35 service call fee added to the bill, which I would have expected to be charged only if I had obtained an estimate and not authorized the work to be done. But it was still much less than I had feared. Overall, I was very satisfied. They cleaned up the work area very well and wore shoe covers the entire time. Both men were very courteous and I felt their appraisal was honest. I will definitely call them again the next time I have a plumbing concern.
Description of Work: Inspected and repaired main water shut-off. Replaced plumbing under kitchen sink, including copper drain feeder into trap.

They have been here a couple of times and they cleaned our tub and sink drains that were stopped up in the bathroom. They charged about $150 for the last job and I think they charge by the hour because it did not take the guy very long to do that job and also asked if there was anything he could do. They were very responsive in coming when you needed them to come and they also knew what they were doing when they got here. My only thing is that I would say to ask them how they charge to have an idea before they came. He was recommended by someone that used to work with my mother.

I called the company and someone came out the next day to give an estimate on the work. Once I agreed to the work, it took 3 days to get the appropriate equipment, but then they came out and installed it in one day. An electrician did need to come one day later to add something to my breaker box. (The hot water heater was already working.)

I called Tri County Plumbing around 10:00am to schedule the visit. Gary told me that someone would be out after noon to replace the sump pump. At about 3:15 the guys showed up to do the work, and they were finished in an hour. There was no mess (they put booties on before they entered my house), and their configuration of the pump (and the back up pump) in the well is more effecient than it was originally. All in all a very well done job.
