Description of Work: I had a structural issue with my roof involving an ice dam. They came out and did a major structural repair. They put down a water seal base and a tin valley capture. Ever since then, we have never had an issue.

They said that I did not have any significant damage and while they were there the first time I asked them about installing an attic fan. They did give me a quote and today they came to install it.

+ -1 moreA co-worker had told me that he was having Roofing Annex replace his roof and that was why I got a quote from them. When I spoke to them on the phone to set-up an appointment, I was immediately asked who our insurance company was. I told them, but found it a bit suspicious since I didn't say anything about storm damage. My husband met Zach at our house when he came over for the quote. Zach told my husband that we had two areas with hail damage and wanted him to sign a contract immediately for Roofing Annex to talk to our insurance company and do the work. He informed my husband that they don't like to give estimates without the contract signed. My husband would not sign the contract and told Zach that we would need to talk it over. Roofing Annex was the third company to give us a quote and the only one who said anything about hail damage. I checked back with the other companies to ask if they felt that there was any storm damage to our roof. Both said no. The following week Zach called me and I told him that I didn't know that I didn't know if we wanted to turn a claim in to our insurance company and even if we did, I wasn't comfortable signing anything without an estimate. Zach again said that they prefer to have the contract signed before giving the quote, but said he would get the quote to me. I received it the next day it it was $2000 higher than the others. I felt very uncomfortable with the way everything was handled and will not contact Roofing Annex in the future for anything.
Description of Work: Due to pressure to sign a contract on the spot without a quote and once it got the quote, it was significantly higher, we did not pick Roofing Annex to preform the work.
