The salt system failed after less than 5 years of service. I was told that my only option was to replace the system completely and that the technology had improved since 2008. The new system was installed early September and is not working properly in this first season of use. Superior is no longer supporting my area and the manufacturer will not engage for any warranty discission. This is a Hayward Aqua Rite system. I am stuck with a 1600.00 system that is not working as intended and I have no resolution but to either replace it at the same cost ro continue to try to gain action from Hayward. Attempts to reach Superior Pools have not been successful as they appear to have closed their CIncinnati location.

Superior Pools of West Chester Ohio, not Superior at all! My Husband and I used Superior Pools of West Chester (Nate Brickner owner and person we dealt with from the get go) to install a 30 x 14 gemini shaped pool. Signed contract 3/16/12, paid deposit. Ran into permit problems because they have not dealt with hamilton county previously, or so Nate says. Needed elevation on the plans, which for some reason took 1 1/2 months to get right. Looking online via Hamilton countys permit tracking site the cause was due to lack of detail on permit application, which lead to the permit needing to be resubmitted more than once and delay after delay. Finally digging took place 5/30. But not with out its delays!!! That took one day then the project came to another halt. What ever reason poor management, lack of communication (which was constant through the whole project!). Here we are October and the project is still not complete! Concrete guys got stain (we used their concrete guys - Cox Concrete) on the white steps and the swimout (to top it off a metal brush was used to get the concrete stain off the steps and swimout which left hundreds or so metal bristals in the pool and on the steps to rust!!!! Then to make matters worse the metal brushes they used on the steps and swim out rubbed the texture off !!! Now there are smooth areas on surfaces that are supposed to have texture), there are pebbles under the liner, foot prints in the vermiculite at the deep end!!! Sharp metal edges on the swim out, edges on side of swimout and steps are a mess and unfinished, caulk around the swimout jets are a mess. Last but not least during a delivery our driveway was damaged and to this day 10/2/12 stills has not been fixed. This whole process has been a nightmare from the get go. Wish to h*** I would have never used them. We did our part and paid as requested, however Nate can not seem to get his act together to complete the project. There was no pride in their work as it shows in their lack of attention to detail. The lack of quality speaks for itself. I guess that is what happens when the owner does not care and he uses subs that careless as well. Please think twice before using this company for a pool installation. I have no idea how reliable they are for pool mainenance or repair but i am one homeowner that will never do business with them again. The only thing reliable about Nate Brickner, Supieror Pools of West Chester is that they are UNRELIABLE!!!!! I know there are more homeowners out there that have used Nate Brickner to install their pools and are thoroughly unhappy. Dont be one of those homeowners.

When you go ask for Jim he is great and know his chemicals. He also is good at solving pool problems over the phone. Will come take a look at the drop of a hat if needed. Great costumer service

Very good. The only small negative point is that we had to stay on top of the working schedule to make sure it was properly coordinated with the landscaper job, although the landscaper was recommended by the pool installer and sold as a one-key team job. At the end of the day, the result is gorgeous. Some small finishing points are due in the spring and were not completed because of the winter weather.
