Simply Floors was the ONLY business that I wanted to do the flooring and that came from previous recommendation. And I was extremely pleased with all the finished work. All the craftsmen were punctual, friendly, answered any questions, and gave advice to the care of the new flooring. But all this could not have happened without the service of the staff at Simply Floors. What a nice pleasant staff. I worked especially with Jim Jr. and he was always on top of everything. I can not say enough about this experience as it was very good in every respect. Sorry that I did not get my review in earlier but they have always been on my mind each time I WALK across my great flooring. THANK YOU Simply Floors - you are No.1 for always.

We asked them for a specific date and they were able to give it to us. They were here on time. They had estimated the installation would take an entire business day and maybe part of another. They sent 3 men and were done in 1/2 day! The work was excellent, very professional looking. We have been recommending them to all of our friends.

This review is long overdue. Jim and his team really went above and beyond to order and install whole-house carpet on an extremely short timeline when we had guests coming in for the holidays. They were punctual, courteous, thorough and professional. Excellent job.

The hardwood was about $4000 and the carpet was about $2000. It was a great price. We had a wonderful experience with them. They did a great job.

The hardwood floor entering the master bedroom from the living room is a mess. The installer did not attempt to work with the under flooring between the two rooms before installing the hardwood floor in the master bedroom. I made four personal visits to the store and after more than a year Jim Leamer (son) visited our residence. He stated he would send someone out to repair the floor. He stated he would only have the repair person install wood filler. This solution would not level the floor, the would filler would not result in a permanent repair and the wood filler would still look bad. I acknowledged he could send the repair person. My hope was the repairman would come up with better solution and I could pay the repairman extra to have the job done correctly. In other words, I could pay twice in hopes of a professional job! Jim Leamer (son) never contacted me again and no repair person every came to my residence. I have contacted two other hardwood flooring companies and they have provided me with estimates of $550 to 700, plus. They noted the only way to professionally correct Simply Floors's mess was to remove 1/4 of the hardwood in the master bedroom, level the sub-floor and start over. So far I'm just living with this unsightly mess. I make sure everyone who visits my house and all my friends and neighbors know why this mess happened. It is obvious that Simply Floors just does not care how much damage was caused to my house. I really don't think Jim Leamer (Dad) and Jim Leamer (Son) should sit around and laugh at customers. I would never use Simply Floors again and I will never let them in my house again. This is just horrible treatment and I sincerely hope they enjoy their profits. Just a bad job and bad treatment!!! Shame on Simply Floors...

It went great. It was a big job because it included not just the kitchen but also a hallway and laundry room. Lots of appliances to move and it did take two days as I expected it would. My new personal opinion is that I do not like quarter rounds in the kitchen. But that has nothing to do with Simply Floors. Thanks Jim and Jim and your installers.

With the help of a contractor, I did a full basement finish, and Dawn Marie and the team at Simply Floors made the flooring portion of my project easy and high quality. Dawn Marie was my primary contact throughout the 3+ months that I was in and out of the store. She was patient, informative, humorous, and accommodating. She demonstrated a high level of expertise in all things related to flooring and always pointed me to high quality options that were within my budget. Speaking of pricing; they were competitive with all of the other local flooring stores and were willing to work with me based on the volume of business I was doing. No matter who I worked with (Jim Jr., Jim Sr, etc) at Simply Floors they exhibited a high level of professionalism and there was zero pushiness. Spending $5k on flooring is a big deal for most consumers and they recognized that. While my contract installed the tile and hardwoods, Simply Floors installed my carpeting and they did an excellent job. Zero waste and a tight install. These guys are high quality and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

When we visited the store, we asked to be educated about carpet differences, and Jennifer accommodated us. There was NO power selling or pressure involved in the sales process. These are terrific people to work with. The installation went well. We love our new carpet. Simply Floors worked with us to make scheduling issues easy, and their installers, both vinyl and carpet, were skilled workers and gentlemen to boot! We highly recommend this local family-owned company.

We had them install top quality carpet and we liked that they gave us one set price and did not charge extra for things such as taking up carpet, moving furniture, or doing stairs. They did not charge for little extras. We also liked that they came back as soon as we called them to fix the stairs when they had cut it too short.

They were great. They matched, even beat the prices at Home Depot/ Lowes without the nickel and diming. Simply Floors is a very trustworthy small business that I would highly recommend.

I had an very good experience with the sales staff in the store; the sales person (one of the owners) was very helpful in helping me find a mid-priced carpet that was attractive and would wear well. The gentleman who came to my home to do the measuring was punctual and very professional. He explained what to expect regarding scheduling installation once the carpet was ordered and received. I was able to schedule the installation for a date that was convenient for me. The 2 pieces of negative feedback I have is that the 3 installers did not arrive until 9:45 am; because there was so much to do, they did not finish until 6pm. If a customer is willing to start earlier (I.e., 8 am), a service provider should do so. It was not convenient to have them in my home that late in the day. The second piece of feedback is that they installers did not vacuum the carpet after installing it. If they did, they didn't do a good job. I had to vacuum it all before we could start putting the furniture back into place. Since they didn't finish until early evening, I wasn't pleased that I had to vacuum. UPDATE 8/3/15: Carpet in family room had to be re-stretched. It had started to "bubble" at the seam, which runs the whole length of the room and was very obvious. The work was done at no charge, but it required us to pack up 5 tall bookcases of books and move most of the furniture (very inconvenient and time-consuming). I hope this was a one-time event.

The employees at Simply Floors were genuinely helpful and seemed to have my family's needs in mind (not their pocketbook or commission). They offered affordable options and explained the products (price/quality) in detail. The installers they used were very honest and easy to work with.

Strengths: After doing a few comparisons and reading feedback on Angie's List, we decided to go with Simply Floors. Mainly because this was a family owned business and I felt we were getting nickled and dimed at some of the bigger stores (i.e. Lowess and Home Depot). We visdited on the evening of December 4, 2013. We were immediately greeted when we arrived by Jim Leamer Jr and then Jim leamer Sr. We explained our situation of having emergency repairs done because of water damage to the home and that we were replacing molded carpet. Jim Leamer was very patient with us and walked us through the entire process. After asking us questions about what we liked, we discussed ou budget a little, he proceeded with bringing over various samples. He took the time to explain the difference in materials and the various brands. The level of customer service and professionalism was great. In order to better help us with our decision, we provided us with samples immediately to take home to compare in house, just to make sure we were comfortable with our decision. We explained that we were in a rush, because of the repairs and he stated he would do the best he can to help us out. We made an immediate decision on december 5th and called into the stored to schedule a measuring appointment. Jim Leamer Sr himself was out to our house the next day on December 6th (flexible with time to meet me during lunch) and took measures of our rooms. We came into the store on Saturday to make final payments and scheduled an appointment for December 10th to have the carpet installed. I was told the installers would be there around 9:00 a.m.. I have to say the majority of my ratings are because of the services provided by Jim Leamer and Simply Floors. The personal attention we received was excellent. Howeer, the ratings would have been greatly lowered because of my iinteraction with the installers. Opportunities for Improvement: Whereas I feel the instalelrs did a great job installing the carpet, from what I can tell so far, there are some areas of opportunities in regards to professionalism that the management/owners at Simply Floors needs to address with these sub-contractors. 1) Tardiness - Theinstallers did not arrived until a little after 11:00 a.m.. I received no phone call from them stating that they are running late. Once there, they worked for about an hour, then they took a break. Then shortly after that, left for lunch. 2) Greeting - The installers really did not introduce themselves when they arrived. Really no level of professionalism at all. 3) Respect of Home - The workers did not attempt to remove their shoes at all and/or wipe their feet. the entire time they were there, they walked in and out of the house with their shoes on. I had contractors prior to this and 1-800-Declutter come in to remove junk from the basement the day before and they remove their shoes every time they came in and even was attempting to remove clutter with their shoes on. They even offered to mop the floors when they saw som dirt. The installers never made one attempt to protect dirtying the existing carpet that was not being replaced. 4) respect of Home #2 - I overheard one ofthe installers giving directinosbut paid no attention. Then another gentlemen just walked in my house through the garage and began conversating with the installers. Iconsidered this to be very disrespectful, considering this other gentlement was not working on the job for my house. Again lack of professionalism. 5) The workers left my house smelling like smoke and I had to open the windows afterwards to try and get the smell out. 6) Respect of furniture - I had already move all the furniture (despite still being charged for it) because I wanted to ensure it was done right and help to ensure the job would get done on time, since I was previously told it would take all day. I could not afford to missed any further work. I had moved my leather couches into the kithchen area. The installers were throwing their coats and shirts on the cough, and was throwing tools and materials up aginst the couch. This prompted me to go an get a cover to place over the couches. 7) Respect of House - Whereas I do not mind people using my restrooms, I do appreciate it if you at least ask. However, I prefer this not be my master bath. One of the installers used the restroom without asking and did not even have the decency to flush the toilet. 8) Drinking soda upstairs while installing carpet. Whereas this may not sound like a big deal, I personally would not have done it just to void the remote chance of spilling soda on a customer's new carpet being installed. Final Comments: Overall I give an A+ to the team at Simply Floors, however for the overall experience I would have to rate the total experience much lower. Although these were sub-contractors, I feel that they are a representation of Simply Floors and the level of professionlism that I experience at Simply Floors did not carry over to the installation. I called Jim Leamer on 12-11-13 to provide feedback. he apologized for the experience and stated that he would address the issue. I told him whereas I was happy with their service and the final product, I was reluctant to use them again because of the installers. Jim again stated he was going to address the issue. End of review.

I had hardwood floors installed throughout the first floor of my condo.The installers worked in my home for five days and did a beautiful job. | |Jim, who assisted me at Simply Floors, was very helpful and allowed me to bring home many samples in my effort to select the perfect floor. | |This huge project was a very positive experience!

We had never shopped for carpet before, but I had done a little bit of research online to understand what to expect in terms of pricing and what factors to consider when selecting carpet. The new carpet was for our family room and playroom, the two most "lived in" rooms of our house. I went to Simply Floors and they took time to discuss options with me in terms of the types of carpet fibers, range of options within my budget, etc. I shared a budget with them and even came out on the lower half of my range, they did not try to push me higher but also made me feel confident in the quality I was purchasing. Install was set up for the next week and we are very happy with it! I think they also gave me an "upgraded" rug pad and these rooms are now by far the cushiest in the house. Very happy!

I picked this vendor because of all the positive reviews on Angie's List. I wanted to have that "wood look" porcelain tile installed. This was a very big job. They first had to rip up two old layers of flooring (vinyl and laminate) and then lay down a new wonderboard sub-floor. My house is about 25 years old and has "settled" over the years so my floor is not very even. They had to make allowances for that before laying the tile. To further complicate the job, I wanted a 1/8" grout, which is very thin. It took them 4 days to complete the project. They were very professional, calling every morning before they arrived and cleaning up after themselves. I plan to have my second floor carpet removed and hardwoods installed in the next year or so and I will definitely use Simply Floors for that job.

We had our house completed remodeled and hired many contractors for various projects. I'd have to rate Simply Flooring the best of the bunch! Jim jr. was outstanding to work with, very professional and personable. Always willing to answer any questions and promptly returned phone calls when needed. The house we bought needed the carpet pulled up before we began constuction on the inside of the house and Jim sent a crew out immediately to do that well before we even had the new carpet installed.Now that's service!The installers were very pleasant and hard working and everything was done in the exact time frame we were told. The quality of the carpeting looks exactly as described and the installation was excellent . I can't even find seams. If we ever need any additional flooring I will definitely use Simply Floors again! A great experience!

They were fine. We recommended them to other people so they're good.

We're so happy we went with a local family run business rather than hitting the local Home Depot or Lowes. It's a totally different experience working with a business where you deal directly with the owner and/or his related family. They were all good people, and did fine work. We were selling the house so we just wanted something modern and neutral. Their experience was invaluable in making sure we got something cost effective and non-polarizing. The two men that installed the vinyl were friendly and courteous. They did an excellent job tearing up the old vinyl, repairing all the sub-floor, and installing the new vinyl. All the squeaks and creeks in the floor disappeared, which was a bonus I wasn't expecting. We already moved out before the carpet was put in, but by all reports, it was done well and on schedule. Less than one week later, we got an acceptable offer on the house the same day it was listed!

Simply Floors is simply excellent. We had a tight timeline and a difficult king size platform bed to work around. Everything came off without a hitch. Not sure how they did work around the bed as simply too scared to look, but it now is exactly the same as before. All of Jim Sr. suggestions turned out to be excellent advice and saved us a lot of aggravation. Everything went so well that we're now only sorry we didn't do this years ago.

It went beautifully. He was here all day and joined late in day by second installer. They took great care with my appliances and I couldn't be more happy with their work. I think I spent alittle more than normal,but I think it was worth it.

Excellent: they were patient in educating me about my options, punctual in getting the work done, and excellent in service. In particular, we ran into a problem: my dining room floor turned out not to be flat, but cone-shaped. The subcontractor they work with charged an extra $400 to fix it, and Simply Floors agreed to split the cost with me instead of making me pay for it all. What upstanding people; they care about their long-term reputation.

This was a fantastic experience dealing with the Leamer family at Simply Floors! My very "high maintenance" husband only wanted the softest, cushiest, and most durable carpet ever made, and they delivered. They offered many different choices, and when I went for the high end expensive carpet, they offered me comparable but less expensive options, which I appreciated. I was in a short time constraint on the bedrooms, because of a furniture delivery date, and they had the carpet ordered and installed in a week. The family room was not ready for months after this, so they held the other carpet for me until it was completed. Simply Floors called me both before and after each installation, to make sure I did not have any questions, confirm times, and to make sure I was completely satisfied with their product and service. I am. Their installers are also worth mentioning. You know when you buy a product from a slicked up salesman and then the installer is Cousin Eddie...this was NOT the case! These installers were very friendly and professional, clean and EXCELLENT at what they do! It took my high maintenance husband two weeks to find the seem in our bedroom carpet, and he was looking, trust me:)

Our experience with Simply Floors was nothing but professional from beginning to end. Received a very "high touch" consultation in the floor room when deciding which carpet to purchase. Received a fantastic price. The appointments for measuring and installation were prompt and courteous. The carpet looks beautiful! We could not say enough good things about our experience with Simply Floors and look forward to returning when we need to replace our upstairs carpet! Several of my family members have also used Simply Floors based on my recommendations and have also had nothing but good experiences.
