Chris Manis the sales guy was great. We were on a tight time schedule to get carpet installed before we moved in. We were dealing with multiple carpet companies at the time and trying to make a decision on who to choose. He made every effort to get back to us quickly. He was very prompt including over the weekend. He was able to get us a good price. Rite Rug was not able to get the carpet installed as quickly as we hoped but we chose them over another company who could because we liked dealing with Chris Manis. We are very happy with the look, feel and installation of the carpet as well. We feel the money was well spent.

It went great from start to finish. Very quick turn around once decision was made to use them for job. Installers were very friendly and kept us up to date on time they would arrive. Would definitely recommend using them for carpet and pad replacement.

At the end of May, the Brine tank in our water softner ruptured, flooding our basement, which we had just remodeled last year, purchasing carpet from Rite Rug: That was an ordeal we won't go into here. Since we had used Rite Rug on a previous occassion, with good result, my wife suggessted we not vilify an entire organization on one bad experience. So we went back, asked for our original salesperson, laid out our new situation worked and planned with him during the month of June: picking out ceramic flooring, scheduling installation, even working around the July 4th holiday, the carpenters and painters and plumbers. my wife and I would take two weeks vacation to monitor the process and provide guidance and council to the work crews. The salesman, MJ, this time around, was not very good at returning our calls, and even worse at punctuality. When we stopped by the West Chester office, the recepto-zombie at the desk did little more than grunt at us and said "Our tile samples are over there." and pointed to a distant section of the large warehouse. Rite Rug was to begin installation of the flooring on Monday, July second. However, on Friday, June 29th, I get a lunch-time phone call from Will Blythe, MJ's manager, telling me MJ is no longer with the company and as a parting gift to the company, MJ lied to customers, and did not order their product, did not schedule their install teams, and basically left me with a huge gap in my plan. "Sorry." He said "Looks like we can't get to you for at least one to two weeks." I explained to Mr Blythe (understand, that's not what I was calling him in my head!) that two weeks was unacceptable. That I needed him, or someone like him from his company at my home, that evening with samples of whatever they have in stock that I could select from, as we were willing to take almost anything to keep the process moving. I needed someone from Rite Rug at my home on Monday morning laying tile...period. Mr Blythe said he would be at my home that evening between 4 and 6 PM. Not only did Mr Blythe not show up at my home that night, But I got another phone call from Rite Rug, this time, Sarah, another manager, this time demanding payment. We severed our relationship with Rite Rug by explaining to Sarah her chances of collecting any funds from us, and the chances of us ever doing business with Wrong-Rug again. Other companies come to my company to teach them about business. One of the most sought after classes is 'Customer Service', which is, in this computerized, digitized, impersonalized-age, a lost art. And, the one the most costly in terms of repeat business and customer satisfaction. Rite Rug did absolutely everything wrong and sadly, the only to notice is the customer!

the end result was good, the salesman was prompt and good. the installer was suppose to be at the house on a friday, changed to saturday or monday. ended up coming on monday but lied about the initial entry to the house and about the house key. installer told me he had been to the house to get started and had the house key and would finish the job on monday. well,, he did not got to the house to get started and did not have the key with him at all. you can't lie! this is my parents house that i am trying to sell. very frustrating.
