There aren't enough words to express just how fantastic the job they did was. James is super knowledgeable, very professional, very much the perfectionist, and just an all around fantastic and fun person to talk to. He definitely goes the extra mile to make sure his customers are happy. James is a great communicator every step of the way from the estimate to the end of job. Devon also was on the job and he, too, is the ultimate and was a great help in helping me pick the color, something I agonized over. By the time they left the job, I felt like I found two new friends. I will definitely hire them again. Thanks James, and you, too, Devon. :) I miss seeing you guys every day!

James is amazing, and does high-quality work. He's also a pleasure to talk with, and really knows the science behind his craft. He made several suggestions for making the condo more salable, beyond just paint colors. I greatly appreciated his input. The end result was fantastic! The place looks great, and James cleaned up after the job. I will definitely be calling him when I need painting done in the future!

AWSOME!!! We Love It. Everyone that sees it says how great it looks! We are so pleased 😀. They were very clean and cleaned up daily prior to leaving!! A large tree limb was down due to the ice storm and he cut that up for us at a very reasonable cost.

They came. They worked. They were tradesmen/craftsmen. They were perfectionist correcting what they deemed not up to their quality where I could not see an imperfection. They cleaned up their work areas. They kept me abreast of cost as I added new repairs to the list. They were cordial, professional, personable, efficient and freely engaged in conversation when approached. They painted bathroom cabinets that I had tried to paint but butchered the job. They hung a light fixture, ceiling fan, repaired drywall ceiling expansion joints, repaired drywall cutout made by a plumber installing a gas line, fished TV/Audio wires through the wall to hide the wires, installed service door in the garage, repaired quarter round floor molding in the kitchen and finished quarter round floor molding in the laundry room. They left charging a fair price and I could not be happier! I recommend this company to anyone who desires quality work.

The job was completed exceedingly well. Mr. Pierson came to our home and discussed what was to be accomplished. Within a few days he gave us an estimate that was very acceptable and he scheduled the job. When circumstances forced us to delay the job, he was very accommodating and rescheduled for several days later. On the day of painting, Mr. Pierson arrived with Devin, his employee, and assured that we all agreed what was to be done. The painting was done beautifully and Devin was very competent and professional. We are very happy with the job and we will use Pierson Professional Painting in the future.

I hired Pierson Professional Painting to paint the dining room, front hall, stairway, and guest bath. They did a great job. All the work looks fantastic. They were professional and the quality of their work was outstanding. It was a pleasure to have them work in my home, they are very neat and friendly. Initially, they painted the walls, ceilings, and crown molding. Everything looked so good, they came back and painted all the trim, doors and the complete staircase banister/railings. So happy with the results! I will be hiring them again for the exterior of my house.

The overall work and experience were as good as it gets. James is a consummate professional at every stage. Our project was large and complex, and it centered around painting good quality (but 15 year old) oil-finished cabinetry that desperately needed updating. James is very skilled and adaptable in his craft. He created a great plan to do the work, adjusted as he worked through some of the challenges of this job, and ultimately delivered an absolutely great finished product on time and on budget. James is great to talk with and also tremendous with communication before, during, and after the job. He also completed this during terrible weather conditions (snow, extreme cold) and it did not create delays or any changes. James worked around our overall renovation schedule with no issues...just good planning. I cannot say enough good things - highly recommend and trust him for any job.

James came and did an estimate to repair ceiling cracks and to paint a ceiling. Within a few weeks he worked us into his schedule. He estimated that a few areas would need to be re-taped but ended up being less. He repaired the seams then painted the whole ceiling. He estimated 3 days and completed the job in three days. We would definitely use James again to paint a room or house!

Excellent work. Did exceptionally good job on preparation. Best quality of any painter we have ever hired. Night and day difference. This was the third time we have used his services. Stained areas of the decking the last painter didn't touch.

My condo looks absolutely awesome! James and his painters, Corey and Jeremy, were extremely professional, polite and courteous. Their attention to detail and their skill level are second to none. The project was scheduled for 5 days, but they were able to get everything done in 4 days and that includes adding some last-minute requests. They always cleaned up each day when they were done and when they completed the job, you would have never known they were there. They took pictures beforehand so they could make sure everything was put back in the right place. It is that kind of attention to detail that was truly impressive. They even fixed small things, like a sticky door latch and a busted blind, because I am a single woman who is not handy and I'm sure they knew I would really appreciate it which I did. They always made me feel like they had my best interests in mind, almost like family. James always made himself available, even in the evening while trying to help his wife take care of their 3 children. He helped me with trying to pick colors and making small suggestions to make my place come together. James has very reasonable prices and provides a more personal experience than the contractors I contacted before I found him who wanted a lot more money and looked at my condo as "just another job." I would recommend Pierson Professional Painting to everyone. Best contractor experience I have ever had and I can't wait to have them back in the Spring to paint my bathrooms! James Pierson and his crew--Jeremy and Cory--spent last week painting the interior of our home (2-story foyer, stairwell, hallways, great room, breakfast nook, kitchen). Having had past experiences--including paint jobs--that were wrought with problems and frustration, I approached this job with a fair amount of skepticism that all would go according to plan. James and his crew quickly put my fears to rest. From start to finish, it was the smoothest experience we've ever had with contracted work. They made a believer out of me that there are still honest, hardworking, and skillful painters around. Not only did they arrive on time each morning, put in a full day, and clean up after themselves leaving our house "livable" each night, but they also treated the job, our home, and our family with the utmost respect. I'm quite the perfectionist, and was thrilled to discover these guys are too. Not a speck of paint was left where it didn't belong. They painted ceilings, walls, around cabinets, window/door casings, baseboards and crown molding. The paint is smooth, coverage is even, and every edge is crisp and clean. They've exceeded my expectations; I couldn't be happier. I will definitely hire them again for any and all future painting jobs and will confidently recommend them to others. Great job guys! James was thorough and did a good job painting the stairwell. He went above and beyond by doing some additional area that was contiguous that wasn't required.

The job went great. My wife and I bought the house a few months before we moved in and James (Pierson, the owner) was able to almost get everything done before we started living there. James and his crew are extremely professional and will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable with his service. There was even an occurrence when about a week before we moved in, the burglar alarm went off. My wife and I were still living over 2 hours away and there was lots of valuables in the house because we had been moving things over on the weekends. The police came and went because they didn't find any obvious signs of break in, but we still wanted someone to check inside the house. I didn't know anyone else in the area, so I called James. He and one of his workers went over to the house at 10:30 pm and checked on everything. This was just one in a long list of personal touches James put into the job at no extra cost. He is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and we got a great price on the job itself. He's never met someone that he couldn't sit there and talk to for what may seem like hours, so don't feel bad about cutting him off and making sure he gets to the point. What most people can say in 30 seconds, takes James 5 minutes. It's actually pretty funny watching him go. We've already recommended him to someone else and I would recommend this company to anyone with painting needs.

James and his crew were excellent. James met with me prior to the work being performed to assess needs, make recommendations and select colors. He is so personable, knowledgeable, and takes great pride in his work. His work ethic is impeccable. The results were outstanding and exceeded my expectations.. It was obvious that he has the same expectations of his staff as he does of himself. I utilized one of his coupon offers on Angie's list which did save me quite a bit. James and Jeremy are fantastic! We had been shopping around for painters for over a month and when James came over to give us an estimate we knew immediately that him and his crew were the ones for the job. We even felt comfortable leaving them to work on our house while we both tended to our jobs outside of the home. They were prompt and punctual when we requested that they be here early in the morning. Before we went to work Jeremy set up for the day while James reviewed what was going to be accomplished within the next 48 hours. They accomplished more than we thought they would on day one. The project actually came in under the price of the original quote and James revised the invoice. Once the job was complete, James took the time with us to give us some pointers on painting our basement which we are doing ourselves. We also had the opportunity to meet James' two other employees Devon and Warren. All of the guys were extremely professional and James never left the job. To say that they are efficient is an understatement. The whole crew is so friendly and personable.This is the second time that we have used them and would recommend them to our closest of friends.

James was great! When I called to schedule the work, he was very backed up and couldn't guarantee a week of work until August, but I hoped to be moved by then. He worked with me and between other jobs to get the work done by my deadline (June 1). He made the suggestion of the color for my kitchen. I wasn't sure about the color, but trusted James. I'm so glad I did! It looks fabulous!! Later in the summer, I had a small job that had to be done before my closing, and he was again able to work in the time to do the couple hours of work. James and his crew were puntual, professional, courteous, and tidy - cleaning up every day after their work. I would definitely use James again if I still lived in Ohio!

I purchased the deal in February 2015. James and I were both fine with putting off the painting at our house until June 2015. James kept in touch with me periodically so I knew that he hadn't forgotten about me. He came by the week before he was going to paint to see the rooms to be painted and figure out the amount of paint required. James, Jeremy, and Warren are good workers, always busy and pleasant and none of them smoke. They clean up after themselves and move furniture back into place. James knows a lot about painting. We have a large front porch built that has a pine wood ceiling painted white. Brown stains were seeping through the white paint in roughly 30 spots. James explained that he had to stop the staining from occurring before painting the ceiling, or we'd have the spots again. He was right and the porch ceiling is beautiful and all white even a month later. It was amazing how much they got done in 40 hours and how beautiful the walls and trim looked when they were done. We liked the work that he did so well that we arranged for James and his small crew to paint doors and trim inside our house on a day when it was raining outside.

They did a good job. The owner had some great ideas for color, which worked out well.
