PC Doctor of West Chester

Work completed as requested, in addition they loaded a new feature to my Win 8 laptop and answered many questions.

I was very satisfied with the cost and quick response. Hard drive works fine.

They fixed the problem but not very out going;

They solved the problem and were effective. They were professional. The only thing I would fault them on is timeliness. They didn't have it done when they told me it would be done. I'm not going to hold that against them too much as I know they had a heavy work volume.

I first called and explained my condition and Jerry said they could fix it. I dropped it off, with the part they needed to install, and asked when it would be ready. They said 4 days. Seven days passed and I called. They said a couple more days. A few days later they called and said it would be ready the next day. The next day came and went but I didn't get a call. I then called back and they said the guy who does this type of work hasn't been in. They then also said they needed to order the part which I then explained to them I brought the part in with the laptop. They eventually fixed it and it seems to be working properly which is what I was looking for. I would probably use them again but I was bummed about the lack of and miscommunication, and that it took about 2 and a half weeks when they said it would be 4 days.

When my old desktop would not boot, I took it to PC Doctor of West Chester. I was told that it would be 3 to 4 days before they could evaluate it. That time estimate was accurate. They called to tell me what was wrong and the cost to repair it. There was no charge for the evaluation and estimate. The desktop was over 6 years old. So, I determined that it was best to go with a new system. They provided guidance on what to buy. I purchased my new desktop through Dell.com and had PC Doctor of West Chester set it up. The turnaround on transferring backup files and removing junk software on the new desktop was 2 business days. I found the staff at PC Doctor of West Chester to be thorough, patient and polite.

Same as above, but I was not happy that they removed/backed up my files and reinstalled them ok, but put in the wrong operating system. Also, though promised several times I would get a status call "tomorrow", they never called me. I initiated all the calls. Both times, they took at least 2 full days to even start the work.

My 6 year old laptop crashed after Norton 360 uploaded its new and improved software. On start up I would recieve a message that Windows could not start because a file was missing or corrupt. Then I made things worse by reinstalling Windows. That wiped out all my files and programs. When I discovered how badly I had screwed up my machine I took it to PC Doctor of West Chester. They used their deep recovery software and were able to recover all of my files. Programs, I am told, are not recoverable through this process. Luckily I was able to reinstall most of my programs and my computer is running better than ever. I was very, very happy with the work that these fellows did. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Great experience! After dealing with so-called Geeks at Best Buy a some years back and then more recently at another major location I'm glad I found these guys. I had spent serious money last year buying an MOB, GPU, CPU, RAM and SSDs from a major local wholesaler and builder (MicroCenter) and they performed the build and I though all was well. My system became unstable lately so I started snooping and I noticed something fishy on one of the SSD's on postup. So I took my system to the PC Doctor only to find out that the ssds (2 in a 0 Raid Array) were not intiated properly and not even being used - nice... The system which was acting buggy was on my Tb drive which was supposed to be only for storage. In summary, PC Doc of WC set up everything properly and my system is built the way I had originally specified at the other place almost a year ago. The other place had fudged the build and there were other less important issues as well such as poor cabling inside the case as well as usb ports on the front header not being hooked up. If you've got a pc problem or want someone else to perform a system build just go to the good Dr, the PC Doctor of WC and save yourself aggravation and $$. The other places are good places to obtain hardware but thats it!

Great service - very quick turnaround and extremely resonable pricing compated to the big name services.

Called them late afternoon on 11/3, dropped PC off at noon on 11/4. They said they would begin work on it on 11/5, and it would be ready to pick up on Monday, 11/8, since they don't have weekend hours. They called in the morning on 11/8 to tell me it was ready to pick up. They explained exactly what they did to fix it, and saved me lots of money that I would have spent on anti-virus software that really wasn't doing a good job. They told me where and how to download free software from Microsoft that does a better job of protecting my computer from threats.

The computer ran very slow and a number of different windows popped up. The virus scanner said it could not clean off the virus so I called PC Doctor of West Chester. I took the PC to them on Thursday late in the day and it was finished by Tuesday at 4:00. They got rid of the multiple viruses that were there and installed a new virus scanner and it is working so much better now. They answered all my questions.

They had the computer ready when they said it would be, charged what they said and even helped carry it to the car for me. The reason I used them was because of Angie's List, but also because they have always ecouraged me to see if I can solve a problem myself before bringing it in, even though they obviously weren't going to make any money if I was successful.

They replaced my hard drive recently. They were just busy and it took longer than I expected. But they got it done. They were fine. They took a long time to fix it and I finally got them back.

They came out to the house. They first tried to reinstall the graphics card before installing a new one. They installed software to prevent future problem.

This was a positive experience. They explained everything they did and how to maintain it. I received a written report on what they did. I would use them again.

I brought in the computer and they checked it out on the spot. The problem turned out to be my own stupidity. I had the ethernet cable connected to the wrong terminal. I have two ethernet terminals on the computer and one works and the other is broke. They identified the working and the broken terminals for me and sent me on my way with no charge. I will definite bring any other computer problems that I have to PC Doctor.

They are very easy to work with. They get the work done very quickly. They have a reasonalble price. They always have it done when we need it back.

I was having some problems with my computer and when I took it in with a list of the things I had already tried, they quickly figured out that the problem was some software I had been using. The technician suggested that I go home, upgrade to a newer version of the pesky software and see if that solved the problems before wasting my time and money. Their suggestion worked! Even though I didn't have to use them this time, I appreciated their honesty and would recommend them based on that alone. When (not if!) my computer needs updating or any repair work, I would definitely take it back to them.

Mike knows his stuff. I will use this company again on a regular basis to make sure my computer is performing at its best. I called back after a week with a couple of issues that they immediately resolved over the phone.

Let me begin by saying I am almost totally computer challenged, and easily intimidated by the new Vista program. Matthew and the other staff at PC Doctors were outstanding--very patient and thorough. They made sure that everything was "up and working" to my satisfaction. I was so frustrated by the new computer and the program, but they were nothing but kind as I blundered my way through. They are OUTSTANDING!

They took all my information off my old drive and I was able to restore it myself. I was very pleased.
