MONTGOMERY HOME INSPECTION

He spent about 4 hours inspecting and reporting back to us on his findings. He was responsive to our questions upon completion of the inspection.

This was the second home inspection that Wendell Montgomery has done for me. Both were outstanding in every way. Wendell is extremely thorough. His inspections take about four hours. On my most recent home, he ventured into the attic through a very difficult and small attic access port. Most inspectors would not have gone to such great lengths. I am glad he did. He found a lot of problems with the roof that could only have been seen from the inside. I ultimately did purchase the house, but I was able to get the price reduced by $25,000 due to the roof and some other problems, all because Wendell went the extra mile. Be warned that Wendell will list a lot of defects. As long as you keep perspective that no house is perfect, you will be very grateful for the service. Wendell spends up to an hour after the inspection reviewing the results with you. He points out which defects are minor and those which are a significant defect and potentially high cost to rectify. Wendell is professional, on time and returns your phone calls and emails.
