They did a great job. Ken was the installer and his son was his helper. They were both very respectful and polite. They worked fast and exceeded our expectations. Our floor looks great.

This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had! We purchased the installation from Lowe's and they sent Keller Interiors to do the work. The man who came out was a contractor of Keller?s, was not friendly, and went right to work without measuring and leveling. He informed us that he had been installing tile for 30 years, so we thought ? okay, he knows what he?s doing. This was not the case. He began slapping up tile, and because they were on sheets, some of the tiles were crooked. He didn?t bother to straighten them out. We found out later with glass mosaic you are supposed to install it in two steps ? put it up and let it dry, then grout it. He did it all in one day, so not only were some of the tiles crooked to start, but that was made worse when he started grouting. We pointed out the crooked tiles and he informed us that he didn?t have time to straighten them out. The edges of the tile were also bad ? cut unevenly and sharp. He didn?t mention up front that there was a strip we could have purchased to give it a finished look, so he tried to compensate by angling the edge of the grout along the edges at a 45 degree angle. He left a terrible mess of grout that was slopped on our cabinets, window, floor and walls. I was left cleaning up for about 2 hours after he left. We call Donnie at Keller immediately after this man left, indicating how unhappy we were with the job. At this point we told him it would be easy to take off the wall and fix, but he was too busy to come out. We also called Lowe?s and spoke with Rick the Installation Manager. Donnie (Keller) came out the week after and it was obvious he wasn?t going to do anything to correct the situation. When we pushed he had Rick (Lowe?s) come out to take a look. To Rick?s credit he asked what we wanted, and when we told him we wanted the entire thing taken out and redone he agreed. After getting different tile since Keller said the glass tiles couldn?t be put in straight we went in a different direction. Interesting that I see glass mosaic on all the DIY shows and it always looks straight to me. Keller did send out different installers to tear-out and reinstall the tile, but it?s been a nightmare. The group that took out the old tile had to completely remove the drywall & put in new, chipped our windowsill (Lowe?s replaced it), chipped our granite countertop (Lowe?s fixed it) and really did a sloppy job of cleaning up after. It took me about 1 1/2 hours after they left to clean grout off the cabinets, etc. We had to have another contractor come out to do the finishing on the drywall, and they chipped the window sill. We are now again waiting to have that repaired. I would work with Lowe?s again because they have made it right, but I wanted people to know about Keller. You would think Keller would be sure to do a good job since they are a Lowe?s contractor. I don?t know if this company actually has employees because everyone we saw was one of their contractors.
