+ -1 moreI was supposed to receive a floor plan layout and along with paint color and furniture ideas from the initial consultation. The decorator really only had a floorplan and suggestions for one room. She seemed rather disorganized during her presentation. Also, some suggestions seemed rather impractical such as drapery for $1500 when she knew I had three children under age 5 in the house. Not a very kid friendly idea. After I took some fabric books and paint samples home, I never heard from her again. She never called to check on my status or to see if I had any questions. Once I returned the fabric books to her office, she still never called me. I never received any suggestions or help with the second room which I had paid for in the initial consultation.
Description of Work: Hired for initial 2 room interior decorating consultation. I needed help with furniture placement and purchase, paint colors, accessories and window treatments.

+ -1 moreFor a small fee, the decorator came to our house & talked to us about what we were trying to do. She gave us some great ideas for color selection & helped us shop for carpets. The hardest part of the work was picking & designing new drapes, & the final product was outstanding. However, once that work was "done", it was difficult to engage the decorator in follow-up items that we wanted done.
Description of Work: We were re-doing the first floor of our house & needed some general guidance in colors, flooring, & window treatments.
