We waited almost 5 weeks before we could get the job scheduled which was understandable considering the amount of work Dwyer presumably has due to the drought conditions in the area. The crew arrived on time at the job site and promptly started the work described in the contract. The job took two days per the Dwyer estimate. Overall the crew did lift and move the sunroom back into its original position closing up an approx 0.5 inch gap between the room and the house structure, I don't think it would be possible to close up the gap any closer than what they achived. The only complaint I have is on clean up of the site at the end of the job. I was disspointed that there was not greater effort made to level grade the repair areas and that other materials were left at the site ( rebar, water bottles, gloves etc.) which tended to spoil an otherwise professional job. Also, I think that need to remove and re-install an A/C unit should have been in the original proposal.

THEY DID NOT DO A PROFESSIONAL FINISH TO THE JOB, THUS I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE WORK.

The two men who did the work showed up when they were supposed to and did a very good job. They took the time to do the job right and restored the area to excellent condition when they were done. They were very professional and made sure I was satisfied before they finished. I would recommend them again.

They are competent. We had a little glitch. the insisted they have a specific day for the work to be done. The were having to work along side another company. They did not show up that day. They left a message on my cell phone, but I didn't get the call. I called them and they said they left the message. It would have been nice if they had called the other number I provided. He said he would be out the next day between 8:30 and 9:00. They showed up at 20 minutes till 10. I was disappointed about them being late. Because they were working along side a concrete company we agreed to waiving the guarantee for the work due to not being sure how the other company's work would turn out. They were unsure if how the new concrete was laid would interfere with the waterproofing system.

Excellent work! Excellent experience from beginning to end.

We were pleased with their work. their sales guy, Jeff Bierman, was very good. he was interested and persistent in a good way. He wasn't overbearing. He acted like he was genuinely interested in our home.

Have used this company twice before with ok result, but felt we did not get our money's worth. This time we solicited a few bids. Their bid was 466% higher than the company that completed the job very promptly and well.

To my great surprise, the workmen requested permission to do the installation on the Saturday following the estimate. One day was estimated to complete the job, and by the end of Saturday, they were done as advertised. They cleaned up the area where the cellar floor was removed, and it was then backfilled with gravel and concrete. The workmen were courteous and polite and answered our questions. We hardly knew they were there except for the occasional hammering required to complete the job. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon Dwyer for any future concrete work that we may require.

Quality was good. I wish the would have let me know when they were coming to do the work. They just showed up.

The appointment to do the work was set up two weeks in advance. The repairman called to confirm the appointment and arrived at the specified time. He said the repair would take about two hours and it took an hour and forty-five minutes. Shortly after the repair we had five inches of rain over a three day period and no water came into the basement from the crack. There has been no leakage since the repair.

Overall I was pleased but they did take awhile to do the work. I signed the contract the day I received the estimate but I had to call 8 weeks later to find out when they would be doing the work. Once it was done they left a substantial mess of concrete clumped on my paver stones and the side of the steps. I called Dwyer and Mike came out and readily admitted they needed to send the crew back for cleanup. So it wasn't as easy as it should have been, but they did eventually get to my job, and corrected their error within a reasonable time. I am happy with the final results. Water no longer sits against the house after a rain. One thing I want to mention is THEY LEFT THE BACK GATE OPEN. My dog got loose when I came home from work and let her into the back yard. I had no idea they had left the back gate wide open! If you have pets and hire them remind the crew to close your gate on their way out!

THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THE ESTIMATOR WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EFFICIENT. I KNEW WHAT TO EXPECT. I WAS GIVEN CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO PREPARE THE SITE. IN MY CASE THE GARAGE DOOR RAIL AND TRIM NEEDED TO BE TRIMMED UP TWO INCHES FROM THE FLOOR TO PERMIT THE SLAB TO BE RAISED WITHOUT CAUSING DAMAGE. IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. THE WORK CREW WAS PROMPT AND CONSCIENTIOUS. THERE WAS A MINOR HITCH IN THE WORK DUE TO AN UNEXPECTEDLY LARGE VOID UNDER THE SLAB. THE CREW CONTACTED SUPERVISORS AND MADE THE NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS TO THE ORIGINAL PLAN TO MAKE THE PROJECT WORK. PLEASE NOTE THAT I CAN'T COMMENT ON THE DURABILITY OF THE REPAIR BECAUSE THIS WORK WAS ONLY RECENTLY COMPLETED.

THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IT THAT THEY LEFT THEIR CIGARETTE BUTTS ON OUR DRIVEWAY. I BELIEVE THEY DID A GOOD JOB THOUGH.

THE STEP UP TO OUR PORCH HAS SETTLED SOME. DAN HAUCHEN SAID IT WOULD COST $600 TO HAVE THAT STEP LIFTED. THAT SOUNDED LIKE A LOT OF MONEY FOR WHAT WE NEEDED.

CALLED FOR ESTIMATE, THEY DIDN'T EVER SHOW.

I HAVE FOUND THEM WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. THEY ARE VERY BUSY, SO IT TAKES A FEW CALLS TO GET THE APPOINTMENT SET, BUT VERY GOOD RESULTS.

THE TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING TO FILL AND REPAIR THE CRACK AS HE WAS DOING IT. HE TOLD US THAT THE REPAIR WAS GUARANTEED, BUT SUGGESTED WE WAIT SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE WE DRYWALL OVER IT JUST IN CASE IT LEAKED AGAIN, SO WE WOULDN'T HAVE MORE DAMAGED DRYWALL. IT HAS NOT LEAKED AGAIN. ALSO, WHEN WE ACCEPTED THEIR PROPOSAL AT THE TIME OF THE ESTIMATE, THEY GAVE US 10% OFF.

SENT THEM AN EMAIL VIA THE LISTING, BUT THEY DIDN'T GET BACK TO ME. I FOLLOWED UP WITH A PHONE CALL, BUT THEY COULDN'T HELP WITH WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.

ATTEMPTED TO HAVE THEM PIN A FOUNDATION, BUT THEY REFUSED TO COME OUT WITHOUT CHARGING ME $250 FOR AN ESTIMATE, WHICH WOULD BE REFUNDABLE IF WE USED THEM. THEY WERE ONLY GOING TO CHARGE ME BECAUSE I WAS UNDER CONTRACT ON THE PURCHASING SIDE OF THE HOUSE. I'VE USED THEM IN THE PAST AND THEIR WORK WAS GOOD, BUT IT MADE ME MAD THAT THEY WOULDN'T WORK WITH ME, AS I'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO CLIENTS IN THE PAST.

THESE GUYS ARE GREAT. GAVE US A VERY GOOD PRICE, DID THE JOB QUICKLY WITH MINIMAL DISRUPTION TO THE YARD AND SURROUNDING AREA.

JEFF, THE ESTIMATOR, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS AND DIDN'T WASTE MY TIME WITH A LOT OF SALES PITCH. THE WORK CREW, HEADED BY KEVIN, WAS FAST AND EFFICIENT AND COMMUNICATIVE. THEY CLEANED UP FAIRLY WELL THOUGH I WASN'T ENTIRELY HAPPY WITH THE FACT THAT THEY DIDN'T COMPACT THE SOIL THEY HAD EXCAVATED AND THEN REPLACED. SOME SETTLING OF THE DRAINPIPE OCCURRED A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE, SEPARATING THE ROOF DOWNSPOUT FROM THE DRAIN. NOT GOOD, BUT TODAY WHEN I CALLED TO TELL THEM, THEY RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY AND SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT TODAY. OVERALL, I WAS HAPPY WITH THE WORK, AND IT WAS MUCH LESS THAN ONE ESTIMATE I HAD RECEIVED.

JEFF BIERMAN WAS HONEST, AND FELT I COULD CAULK ALL THESE SMALL CRACKS MYSELF; HE DID NOT FEEL MAJOR FOUNDATION WORK WAS NEEDED. SAVED ME LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY.

I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH MY BASEMENT, IT IS VERY DRY. I HAD OTHER ESTIMATES FROM SOME OTHER COMPANIES THAT TRIED TO UP SELL ME.

THE FIRST PROJECT TURNED OUT TO BE MUCH MORE INTENSIVE THAN A TYPICAL PORCH STABILIZATION PROJECT, SINCE THE ORIGINAL PORCH WAS POURED TO THE FULL DEPTH OF THE BASEMENT (10+ FEET), WITH AN ADDITIONAL CONCRETE FOOTER ON FRONT. THE SERVICE TEAM KEPT ME INFORMED THROUGH OUT THE PROCESS OF THE CHANGES THEY MADE TO THEIR ACTION PLAN; INCLUDING WHEN THEY HAD TO BRING IN A SMALL EXCAVATOR TO DIG TO THE APPROPRIATE DEPTH, HAVING TO SWITCH FROM MINI-PIERS TO THE REGULAR SIZE, AND HAVING TO BRING IN JACK-HAMMERS TO BREAK UP THE OLD FOOTER SO THE NEW ONE COULD BE PLACED PROPERLY. THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE LIST OF SURPRISES THE TEAM LEADER, JOE, WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS, EVEN WHEN HE HAD TO COME BACK ON THE NEXT DAY (WHICH HAPPENED TO BE A SATURDAY), TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT. KUDOS TO GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A FANTASTIC STAFF!
