I have pictures of the mess he left our office in. He told us the paint he used was better than Sherwin Williams best for the same price. He used Lowes cheapest quality & charged us for Sherwin Williams top of the line. The ceiling light he installed (he just put screws in the drywall, no anchors, fell out a month later. When I tried to turn on the baseboard heaters he installed, there aren't any thermostats (all had to be replaced). He cut doors short (we had to install strips on the bottoms where they were an inch short). He took the trim & baseboards we purchased when he skipped out & we had to buy more. !! BUT the worse thing he did was lie to me to get me to pay him the remainder of the money: he told me his five children wouldn't have Christmas if I didn't pay him. I paid him, and scheduled a date for him to complete the work after the holiday. I waited at my office for 2 hrs. He kept sending me texts telling me he was on his way. When I tried to contact him for 2 wks after getting no response, I contacted the police. He gave us a false address. We hired a private investigator to track him down, but couldn't find him. The only reason we have found him, (2 yrs later) he asked me to be a contact on LinkedIn. He is in Dayton; which is why we couldn't find him originally. I have contacted the police again and will go through the courts. In these 2 yrs, I have found several people he has done this to. He starts a job, gives some sob story about getting paid, then is never heard from again until he pops back up several years later. Most of the jobs are too small for people to pursue, but he cheated us out of over 6,000.00. DO NOT use this guy (his "uncle" Dave and he Scott), you will be sorry. The work is shoddy, they lie and they will leave what work they do unfinished. Feel free to call the Milford police department about the report and to see pictures of the mess they left us in.
