We were going to replace the cupola because we considered it a part of the design of the house. We had never even thought about removing it completely but after speaking to Mr. Keffer we decided to take his advice and remove it and fix the hole in the roof. Now no more leaks into our whole house fan which was situated close to the hole. No more buckets in the hall to trip over. We had the estimate on Thursday April 17. Called to let them know we wanted them to do the job on Thursday April 24. On Tuesday April 29 a man from Bone dry roofing arrived at our door to fix the roof, remove cupola and fill in the hole) The only problem with this is, we were not notified they were coming and we just happened to be home when he arrived. We were pleased with his work and the amount of time he spent on the job. He also cleaned up very well. The price we considered very reasonable. If we had replaced the cupola we could have had to provide the cupola at a cost of more than $1000. As it is the house looks just fine. In fact it looks better without the cupola.

The roof looks very nice and the overall roofing experience was painless, for the pocket and the clean-up.

I called the company for a 2nd estimate on my roof replacement. Jim came out and completed an estimate which was then explained to me. The bid was competitive, so I hired this company.

Bone Dry is an Indianapolis based company with an office in West Chester. Jim Keffer runs the West Chester office and he is who did the estimate. He was prompt for our appointment, listened to my concerns and inspected the whole roof before providing a written estimate. He provided a long reference list so I could check out the work and talk to his clients. He told me that he would bring a large crew and they would be able to finish the roof in one day. All my other quotes were for 2 or 3 days for this job. I must say that in 26 years of home ownership in 4 cities I've never had references from any contractor that were so totally positive as I received this time. A large crew of about 12-13 folks plus a supervisor and Jim Keffer started at 8am and they had the job completed by 5:30pm. A couple of neighbors are in the construction business and were very impressed with efficiency and quality of the crew. I would definitely hire Bone Dry again if I ever needed a roofing job.

Did a great job. Our roof is very unusual. We were very pleased with their ability to take on such a difficult job - a lot of companies would refuse it. Jim is a great guy to work with. He bent over backwards to do anything for us and gave us a good price after comparing with a number of other companies.

Crew of six to eight men arrived about 7:30 AM on a mid 90 degree day and went non-stop with a 30 min lunch break (box lunches with plenty of water and bags of ice) until the job was completed at about 4:00 PM. All windows protected with plywood and shrubery with tarp. The crew cleaned up as they went along and the yard was in perfect shape when thay left. Hard working profesional men with Jim Keffer supervising.

James came to look the roof over. He climbed up without complaint in 95 degree heat. He provided an estimate of $25 and asked my opinion about shingle color. The shingle color no longer exists so we selected one as close as possible. He indicated he would be able to perform the work the next day(Friday) or Monday. He came Monday and called to let me know when he was done. Although the shingle color is different, I can't tell from the ground. Everything looks good.

Jim worked around my schedule and was able to come out on a Saturday to take a look at my roof. He arrived exactly when he said he would be there. Jim took pictures of the condition of my roof and showed me right after he took them and explained what I was looking at. He then emailed them to me with recommendations of what I needed. I was expecting to be told that I needed a new roof, but Jim said that I didn't need a new roof yet, and a little maintenance would go a long way. He promised that Saturday to have all the repairs done by the following Thursday, and I was very pleased that he came 3 days earlier than I expected to do the work. Jim was very professional and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I felt like he was going above and beyond to make sure that my roof doesn't have any more issues. Overall, Bone Dry and Jim Keffer did an excellent job and I highly recommend them to anyone needing roof work.
