Bone Dry Roofing & Masonry - Cincinnati

They called me several days before the job started asking if my shingles had been delivered so they could start early. Once on a Sunday afternoon and again on Monday. The work was scheduled for Wednesday and they were supposed to arrive between 8am-9am. At 9:45am I called them to see where they were. After a 15-min wait, I received a callback that they were about to call me because they had canceled the job that day because of the weather forecast(rain-ironically, it didn't rain until 7pm). Well it never rained but I was a bit miffed that instead of calling during the window of arrival, I had to call them. That afternoon, I received a call from the manager who apologized and asked if they could come out the next day. They arrived promptly at 7am and were gone by 3pm. They worked quickly and efficiently. The clean up was terrific, I have found no evidence of them having been there in either my front or back yard. The roof looks great. It was about $500 more than the estimate due to them having to replace more boards than originally thought.

We had a hurricane on a Sunday and so everyone's house was damaged. I called roofers and because they were so busy no one ever called me, but these guys had it together. Their receptionist was answering phone calls. They said they would send someone out to look at the problem, so we made an appointment and then two days later their estimator came out. He was a head of schedule, very efficient, and very professional. They came back out within a week and corrected it. The price was right and the service was outstanding. I would definitely use them again.

Did not use them since they did not return my call.

Jim could not find a direct leak. He said there were a few flashing places that could be fixed, but that he could not be sure that it would fix the problem. He said it was a 50/50 chance. He did the work to the flashing and we had no more leaks.

The Bone Dry crew arrived on time (7:30) as promised. There were eight men including the supervisor. They worked fast and took few brakes. They finished after seven pm when it was dark. Several men returned the next day to complete clean up and stayed about two hours. They removed two layers of roof and repaired the wood in two places. I was charged $35.00 more than estimate and that was for extra vents. The men were polite and friendly and clean up was excellent. I have already recommended Bone Dry to two other people who are contracted to use them.

Our area experienced a severe wind storm. We called Bone Dry Roofing and they responded very quickly sending someone out to check the roof. An estimate was given and we were told that work would be done as soon as it fit in the schedule. There were MANY people in need of roof repair so we thought it might be a month before we would hear from them. They showed up within a week and did the repair work quickly and efficiently. They did not call before they came, which we would have liked but under the circumstances I'm sure they fit us in when they could. We were very happy with their service and would use them again.

They had to caulk windows. It was very good. It was well done and done quickly and on time. It wasn't as expensive as other companies that I had researched. The workers were courteous and polite.

They were reasonably priced. I did get some extras as well throughout the job. They were expedient in getting to me, even with the high volume of homes with damage during this time due to Hurricane Ike. They completed the entire job in about three hours. There were seventeen guys in the crew working together. They did a very good job. They hand-nailed everything, which most people do not do anymore. They cleaned up extremely well. They were also very polite and professional. They really took pride in their work. I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

I felt they were prompt, professional and provided a fair estimate and timely repair. I also felt they gave me a fair estimation of the condition of my roof.

I had contacted Bone Dry Roofing after the wind storm in town. They had called me within a few days after my email. I had setup an initial appointment for a Saturday at 8 A.M. My wife was home, but they did not show. I waited a few days to see if they would call me to explain or reschedule, but received none. So I called them, and talked to the office staff and the estimator call me back. We set up another appointment for a Wed at 5 P.M. Again a no show. I stopped trying and moved on to another Angie's List roofer.

Overall it went well since I thought I needed a new roof. However, the representative thought that the roof would last another couple of years with the fixes he prescribed.

We had two companies quote and Jim Keffer came out and met with me. My brother in law runs a construction business and I knew after talking with Jim that he takes the same pride in his work, reputation and company as my brother in law. They were lower in price than another company that we had used before but the real reason was the perceived quality. Jim said he would try to squeeze me in as soon as possible and within a few days he had a crew on site that did a very difficult job in one day so it would be on before the rain the next day! It looks great and they have actually improved the look in the way they applied the shingles. Even the insurance estimator said our roof was a challenge for even the best roofer but they did a great job at the estimated price, excellent cleanup and we are very happy with our decision. We would recommend them highly!

Their service was excellent! They showed up when they said they would, did an excellent job, and they did the work in one day. I would use them again.

Bone Dry was prompt in responding and giving us a bid. We had a problem with defective shingles. Bone Dry removed a couple of shingles and replaced them with new ones so that we could send in a claim. This was BEFORE we had signed a contract. Their bid came in significantly lower than any other company. We signed the contract and they were there the next week. We have a large roof but it only took them 2 days to complete. They were very professional while on the job. Our roof looks great! We would highly recommend them and would use them in the future.

The price was fair. They did what they said they would. We ran into a few unexpected issues, and they solved and explained everything well. They worked with us on the price as well. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

They are very prompt and thorough. The estimate that they gave us for the repairs were right on the money. They were professional and they didn't pressure us into buying a new roof. They were very honest and got the job done correctly.

I liked that when I called they called me right back and when I asked if they could come out the same day they came out right away. They were very polite and fixed it quickly.

It was excellent because they came when they said they were going to come. They gave us an estimate. When we decided to go with them they had the paper work ready. The workers never stopped working until it was done. When we needed them to come back for something they did. It was all pretty good.

They arrived 8:00 am & were finished by noon. The roof looks beautiful. Workman were well supervised by company owner & foreman. Everything went very well, they cleaned up well and used a magnet to check for fallen nails. Protected plants as well.

Very good work. The crew came in and took care during set-up to cover all the plants around the house. They then stripped two layers of the old roof and replaced it all within five hours including work around the chimney. Yard was cleaned of all nails and roofing material. In the last month I have only found one piece of roofing material that they missed. Would use them again if needed.

They were thorough and they used a camera to spot trouble places. They were punctual and did a good job. They were very efficient and we were pleased with their work.

Bone dry did exactly as they promised. Very good with scheduling the job, calling ahead and estimating the time it would take. Prompt, neat good clean up ---would use them again. Also, the least expensive of 3 bids.

Came out to give an estimate within days of contacting them. Explained that the shingles are replaced by hand nailing versus using a nail gun. Left my husband and I a couple of samples of roof shingles with a brochure, and the estimate for the repair of our leak and replacement of entire roof shingles. Once my husband and I obtained our financing and decided to use Bone Dry Roofing, I contacted them to inform them of my shingle choice and to schedule the work. I was informed that my choice of shingle was an upgrade to what the estimate was for and the cost would be significantly higher than what was on the estimate. I then asked for specific shingle samples of the choices available with the estimate and the shingle choices were at my house by late afternoon that day. Great Customer Service! I made my choice of shingle from the samples that were part of the estimate, contacted Bone Dry with my choice, and scheduled the work to be completed. Due to bad weather we had to wait a couple of weeks but that was not problem for my husband and I. The crew with their crew leader came out on the scheduled day and time, completed the work in half a day. As mentioned below, the only "surprise" was that our roof had more damaged 2' x 4' than was first known. The crew was able to replace all of our damaged wood planks as well as install the shingles in half a day's time. We did experience another leak a few weeks after the work had been completed. My husband contacted Jim, who had someone come out the next day to assess the leak and fix it. We have had no problems since and have been very happy with the work and job done. Jim told us that if we have any problems in the future to contact them ASAP. I believe him based on his timely response to our leak after the work was completed and if needed again in the future I will contact him.

Very good experience. Detailed, itemized quote. Made it easy. Only group to provide references. Had several jobs in the area. Invited me to an active site. Only roofing company that removes existing shingles. Bid on site an the inspection. Got quote in 1 hour. Good bid.
