Bone Dry Roofing & Masonry - Cincinnati

Everyone at BD was very easy to work with. I never felt stupid for not knowing From the sales person, Keith, to the Kim in the office. The key person was Shande, the Project Manager. He let me know everything he and his guys were doing. There were a couple of "hold ups," but nothing of any significance. And, the fact that Shane kept me informed, made the changes a non-issue for me. I liked the straight forward information approach. BD actually sent me a "what to expect" list. I recieved a few days before the project started. The project lasted about a day and a half due to weather. Complete tear off, running the roof out beyond the boxgutters, and installing a gutter system on 60 feet of the front of the house. I have pictures of the support structure that BD put in over the box gutters and was extremely pleased at the quality they put into it. There were more structural supports than I would have imagined. BD also replaced a couple of rotted roof boards (?) at a reasonable cost that increased the initial bid by about $500. The $17000 reflects the additional work. Again, Shane let me know what was going on. The whole team was polite and did a quality job. From the time I requested a bid to the date of the project is was maybe five to six weeks. The wait was mostly due to my wanting other quotes and to consider all options. Once papers were signed, BD was on it. There was no lag. Clean up was magical. I had neighbors comment on how pleased they were with BD's clean up. Shane has followed up several times to make sure that the work has remained quality and I"m happy to report that I am so happy to have had Bone Dry do the work. BD showed integrity by telling me what they coould and would do and then doing it. They also share with me what their work doesn't cover, and this was very helpful. The work is quality. They matched colors. They made sure that I understood what was going to happen and what to do if I had/have any issues.

I CALLED BONE DRY ROOFING FOR AN ESTIMATE THE BEGINNING OF MARCH AFTER THE LAST HORRIFIC STORM. THE COMPANY WAS OUT TO INSPECT IMMEDIATELY, GAVE ME A CLEAR AND CONCISE ESTIMATE, ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS AND THEN I CHOSE A DATE, ON THE DAY OF THE INSTALLATION THE SUPERVISOR CALLED AT 7:30 A.M. TO SAY THEY WERE RUNNING 20 MINUTES LATE DUE TO TRAFFIC! THIS COMPANY RUNS LIKE A WELL OILED MACHINE, THEY ARE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH, THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE INTELLIGENT AND RESPECTFUL. I WILL CERTAINLY USE BONE DRY IN THE FUTURE.

It went well. I have my fingers crossed but no more leaking to date.

They were wonderful. Their price was competitive. They’ve even called to check with me on things.

Overall, it was excellent service and they did a great job. They were punctual and friendly. They got up in our attic which the other company we contacted did not do. They checked out everything to make sure they knew where the leaks were. The price was reasonable.

I used Angie's List to try to find the best masonry company in Cincinnati to repair my chimney cap. Bone Dry Masonry did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The work went very quick, and everything was installed better than expected and right on estimate.

He did the job for the condo complex I live in. I'm on the board and I joined Angie's list for that. They were professional, finished in a timely manner, and adhered to the quote. I can't say a bad thing about them and am satisfied. He gets high ratings and will use them again in the future if needed.

The materials were delivered a day or two before the job was to be done. They were placed in our driveway in a manner that still allowed us to park in the driveway. The day the job was to begin it was raining, but the forecast called for it to stop around 10:00-11:00 am. The company was in contact with me that morning to let me know when work would begin and when the team was on their way. The team arrived, covered items that could not be moved to protect them, moved some items we forgot to move, and got to work. They swarmed all over the roof, quickly tearing off the old roof. They broke briefly for lunch, promptly got back to work after the break, and completed the roof and clean up by 6:30 that evening. We could not be happier, would recommend them highly--and have done so, and would use them again if need be. In fact, they also installed our chimney cap after completing the roof.

Overall. Great working with them. It's so nice knowing that if I have any issues with my roof, they will be there to help.

20This was a very rainy year and when we called Bone Dry they said it would take them 4 weeks until someone could come take a look at the roof. However, the next week one of their employees were in our neighborhood and called to see if he could drop by. He stopped by and found the cause of the leak explained my options and set up a time that someone would be able to come out to fix it along with the amount it would cost. The day the roof was fixed I was giving a call and the employee was able to quickly fix the roof. The gutter on the top roof was cutting into the shingles on the lower roof causing the leak. He fixed the gutter and replaced the shingle with extra shingles we had so the shingles would match. We were glad that we didn't need a whole new roof which made me feel like I could really trust this company. Both workers who came to my house were polite and very informative.

Incredible. From the start of the estimating process. I had three estimates over two days and they were the only one to hand me an estimate before leaving. The others had to go back to the shop and send it to me. One of them was too embarrassed to tell me they did not want the job. The crew came in and did exactly what I needed. Very clean job, everything back as it should be. Professional crew that had everything done in no time. I look forward to having them back, preferably not to soon, to do the main roof.

Pat Roesch, of Bone Dry Masonry, was on time and polite when giving the estimate, describing the work needed and explaining why he felt it was necessary. He was not sure when he could get to the work because he needed 40 degree temperatures. He said he would call and let me know and we agreed on the price. The work was done quickly within a week or two. I was very happy with the result.

Bone Dry was not the lowest quote for the roof, but the quote was competitive and they seemed to be the most knowledgeable about what needed to be done to the roof. They explained everything very clearly and provided a number of options for addressing some of the problems I was having with the roof. They arrived on time and replaced the whole roof in one day. The work crew was very professional, and they left the site as clean as they had found it. Their work was excellent, and I have had no problems with the roof. Their work came with a 10 year 100% guarantee. I will definitely use them again.

They came when they said they would. We thought they were reasonable. I'm older and home alone, and I felt comfortable with them in my home.

Keith H. contacted my insurance company to discuss the huge difference in cost from what the claims adjustor estimated. He took ownership of my claim and kept me up to date as to how Bone Dry was progressing with my insurance company. The issues I had were not with Bone Dry, but were with A******* Insurance. You are made to feel there is something behind you but "its not their good hands"! Not until I had a knock down screaming match with the incompetent claims adjustor and getting my agent to contact her supervisor was any progress made. Suddenly the good hands people saw the light! Through out this whole process Keith H. remained professional and confident that a resolution could be reached. From that point on everything went very smoothly. We scheduled a date for work to begin and Mike B. and his crew were there on time and ready to work. They took the time to cover all my landscape, protect my patio, drive and lawn. Finished the job of tearing off the old roof and installing the new in one day. Mike's crew was very professional and spent allot of time making sure I was happy with what they were doing. They also were very meticulous in making sure there were no stray nails in the area! Constantly cleaning up and traversing the area with magnets. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH BONE DRY ROOFING!

They are good. There was a big repair job to be done and they seem to know what they were doing. The only problem was when they quoted me the job they said that were going to send a group of people but they only sent one so it took a little longer. The job was done to my satisfaction. They showed me before and after pictures. I was able to call the representative easily and he would call be back promptly. I will be using them.

Bone Dry Roofing came out within 2 days to give an estimate on a vacant house, no-one met them at the house.Their price was the lowest of 3 and the e-mailed estimate was detailed and easy to understand. I chose another company with a top rating on Angie's List because they were willing to meet Bone Dry's price and I guaranteed them the job if they did it right away (three days later). Bone Dry couldn't get to it for 2 weeks.

They seemed nice but I did not use their service. I might use them in the future.

For a little while now our ceiling has slowly been showing the signs of a roof leak. After climbing onto the roof, I decided that the problem HAD to be a leak around the exhaust pipes. After waiting WEEKS for another company to even come take a look (they never fit me into their schedule) I looked on here and found Bone Dry to have a great rating. I called, explained the problem, and they were out nearly immediately. They left an estimate and had scheduled me for a repair within hours after I sent it back to them. I climbed onto the roof after they left and while I don't know much about roofing, the repair looks much better than the situation up there before they did their work. They really did their best to match the new shingles to the existing ones. I'm a happy customer!

I didn’t get the A-team at first; the first guys that came out were not the best. I would give them a good final grade, but it took a couple of repeat trips. The initial trip was right when they said it would be, but they weren’t real prompt after that. I am satisfied with the end result.

I found them on Angie's List. They were here on time and finished on time. They did everything. Their price was what we had agreed upon. The only thing that bothered me was that their entire crew was not English-speaking. I probably wouldn't have used them if I had known that. It's been more than six months and I haven't had a problem. They did outstanding work. I would not use them again if I could find somebody else that uses local workers because unemployment is high here.

Over all very good. The quality of the product was exceptional and the workmanship was exceptional. I would absolutely use them again.

Came out to check several spots we suspected of having a roof leak. The first guy who came out told us the cause was difficult to pin down in one of the spots and he wanted to send a crew to do a water test rather than guessing what the cause was, as if they guessed wrong and it was still leaking, they'd have to then do the water test anyway. When they returned to do the test, the technician (a different guy) said that instead of doing the test, he was nearly 100% sure the cause was a caulking issue and that he wanted to fix the caulking and that if it turned out the caulking was not the issue after all, they'd return and do the water test for free. Explained to me how to determine, next time we had a long hard rain, whether the leak had been fixed correctly without having to paint the ceiling to cover the stain so that we wouldn't have to end up doing the painting twice. I was very impressed with both the first and the second guys, both of whom seemed anxious to try to save us money and work. I'm at the point with this company that I feel I can trust them not to try to rip me off for unnecessary repairs, and I will definitely call them again when it's time for to have the roof replaced or any further work done.
