They did an excellent job. I have had no leaks in my roof since they did the work.
Description of Work: A contractor hired by my builder, Drees, did warranty work on my fireplace. My roof developed a leak around where the work was done. Bone Dry diagnosed the problem and promptly did the repair to my roof while I was at work. I have had no further problems and found the charge to be reasonable.

I contacted five or six companies for an estimate on gutter repair or replacement. They all had similar opinions as to what needed to be done. The guy from Bone Dry Roofing was by far the most thorough, and discovered an additional problem with my flashing where the roof meets the chimney. None of the other companies bothered to get out a ladder and actually inspect the house. The cost was in the middle of the price range from all the estimates, but the system the salesman pitched was different and (to my mind) better and made more sense. He also set me up with the guy who would fix my flashing problem, and another guy to sort out a chimney issue. I contracted with Bone Dry, and one day I came home and I had new gutters and a sign in my yard. I noticed no other indication they had been there. The gutters have been on the house for a few months now and have performed as expected. The flashing fix has solved a water issue I was having with the chimney.

They did an excellent job. The job was done on time and they cleaned up after themselves to the point where you could not tell they were there. Also, they went above and beyond when the Home Inspector came back to reinspect and the fix done by Bone Dry was a much better solution than that of the Home Inspector.
Description of Work: Performed minor roof repairs associated with Home Inspection results. They also validated the results and provide opinion on the correct fix.

We didn't use them because we got an estimate that was lower. The price wasn’t what we wanted. They followed up on the bid. They showed up when they were supposed to and the bid was very professional. They came out and answered my questions. We would consider them for another estimate.

The "salesperson" who quoted the job was very thorough and pleasant. Down to earth. Got the sense he had done a lot of the physical work himself. Actually looked like he had just come from a job site -- which is fine -- we don't require a suit and tie for this type of sales call! But, a couple weeks later when we decided to hire Bone Dry, he was no longer with the company. That was a little disappointing. But, the company responded quickly, did the work and came back two weeks later to finish a 'seal' coat. The first day was tuck pointing of brick around the house and on the chimneys, as well as applying a seal coat cap to the chimneys and cleaning the brick. The second day was focused on the walkway, and got rained out a little. The work was finished on the third day. Prior to the second visit (two weeks later), we noticed some other areas that either had been missed in the initial inspection or needed more attention. One spot was a long crack over the garage that we completely overlooked on our first survey of the house. Bone Dry attended to all the issues and there was no additional charge. We think the walkway still needs more work, and feel the work was somewhat of a bandaid approach. But we could not spend the extra money some of the other companies wanted to completely re-do the entire walkway, brick by brick. While not perfect, we feel Bone Dry did a good job with what they had to work with.

Service was scheduled for the following week, but Bone Dry called me the next morning and said that they had an opening in their schedule and if they could come out that morning?so in less than 24 hours from the quote, I had my new roof vents installed. They look awesome, installation was excellent. I expect no issues, would recommend Bone ? Dry with no hesitation.
Description of Work: Original roof vents were installed by the builder in 2005...after a couple of years they were starting to pull up and leak (cheap builders grade materials, all my neighbors are dealing with the same issue). Had Bone-Dry come out, gave me a very competitive quote (I knew what some of my neighbors had paid for the exact same repair ). I signed up immediately. Bone Dry also inspected the entire roof and gave me an assessment of its overall condition, luckily, everything else looked fine .

Our entire roof was replaced in December of 2008. During a home inspection, it was identified that the flashing was incorrectly installed on the front face of the home. Bone Dry Roofing was called regarding another small repair to the soffit, at which time, the technician also identified the incorrectly installed flashing. The technician wrote up the repair order and the following week I was contacted by Bone Dry Roofing to schedule a repair appointment. The soffit was repaired and the flashing was replaced with no charge as this was under their warranty. We were very pleased with their responsiveness and willingness to correct their work. We were especially impressed with the technician who identifed the problem and ensured that it was brought to our attention and that of their management.
Description of Work: Installed flashing and made minor repair to soffit.

The reps from this firm were courteous and professional ... and accomplished what was needed.
Description of Work: A small but stable crack in a foundation left me searching for a masonry firm to patch it. Since it was a small job, I took the Big Deal from this firm. It turns out that their expertise in masonry is oriented more to chimney work. But their rep sized up the job and agreed to do it. Involved removing an amateur patch and refilling crack and smoothing the finish. It was nicely finished, and done as scheduled.

The service and repair went very well. I called Bone-Dry to take a look at my front steps that needed repair. They drove by within a day, and called me back to describe the work that was required. We agreed on the price, and they were out to my house within a week to make the repairs. The tried to match the color of the mortar as best they could, and overall the work they did looks great.
Description of Work: Bone-Dry did a masonry repair on my stone front porch steps that required tuck-pointing as the mortar was breaking off in several areas. He also applied a spray to keep the steps more weather proof and protect it from ice.

Bone Dry was very professional, both in giving us the estimate and doing the work. The work was completed in less than one day. Initially, about 6 workers were on their team. By the afternoon, there must have been about 8 or 10 workers. The workers were very skillful, worked very fast, and did a superb job. This is the second time we have used Bone Dry. Great work on both occasions. We would not hesitate to call them again.
Description of Work: Bone Dry replaced our entire roof. This necessitated removing two layers of old shingles first. Their estimate was nearly 8000 dollars lower than another estimate for the exact same work.

MY HOUSE HAD OLD BRICK WHEN IT WAS BUILT AND NOW IT'S 40 YEARS OLDER. PART OF THE BRICK HAVE CHIPPED DUE TO AGE AND WEATHER. I Was going to patch it myself but instead saw the Bone Dry Coupon. These folks were very business like, prompt and really knew what I wanted. I asked if they would fix as many bricks as the could til I got to the value of the coupon and then stop. They agreed to do that and actually fixed them all. They came and checked what I wanted done in a prompt manner and the employee who came was knowledgeable, courteous to my needs and obviously trustworthy. The work was completed in a timely manner and obviously professionally performed. I would/will not hesitate to call Bone Dry again as the work was TOP OF THE LINE and priced reasonably! It was like I had called a friend to come help me and the job was perfect! I will not hesitate to call Bone Dry again.

High points for promptness from first call and expertise. Supervisor Pat gave 2 estimates based on different style caps but was honest that he didn't see a benefit to the higher-cost one and recommended lower-cost option. He then accompanied the worker who did the work to check on the job. So far, the cap is keeping the squirrels out - we're satisfied.

Small house so I didn't think it would take long. Arrived 2 1/2 hours late and worked through dark, which didn't bode well. Supervisor came back next day to finish painting a few wood replacements and discovered several errors--no felt or water/ice sheet under a section of roof tiles. Came back third day and corrected errors!? Production supervisor was helpful and apologetic, but I won't know if everything is correct until I have NO problems.

I knew my 13-year-old porch roof did not have flashing, and I had seen several areas over the years that were leaking. The leaks were getting worse. John Hanson came out first and gave me an estimate for two jobs. One proposal was to do just the flashing. The other was to replace the entire porch roof. I decided to have the whole roof done and was able to schedule the work within two weeks' time. The shingles were delivered the day before, as I was told they would be. I was concerned about the weather, but the day the crew came to replace the roof it was unseasonably warm. Shane Rider was the production manager and he made sure I was aware of each step of the project. His men quickly tore off the old shingles and put them in their trailer. Shane took pictures of the rotting plywood sheets that he had to replace, as well as other pictures of the new roof as the shingles and flashing were being put down. My yard looked as clean as it did before the roof came off, and my porch was swept clean. I was pleasantly surprised to hear Shane offer to patch a section of roof on the second story, where the shingles were no longer laying flat---at no charge. He took pictures of that area, too, and gladly emailed me all the pictures (at my request). Prior to leaving, Shane spent at least 10 minutes going over the warranty and told me if I had questions of any kind to call him. He and his crew were polite and courteous the whole time they were on the job. I was impressed with the professional manner in which Shane explained why he thought the other section of roof needed to be fixed, without trying to "sell" me another job. I told him I had not yet asked anyone to inspect the rest of the roof on the house. He said it would have bothered him to leave something like that without fixing it, because rain would have eventually leaked into the house.

While I posted negatively in a prior review over a deal I signed on for, I did get a call from Bone Dry about a week after that apologizing and offering to do whatever they needed to do to make it right. It was their first experience offering that deal and I got the sense there were some mistakes made and confusion in the field. I felt I should come back here to report the effort to make sure the client is happy even when mistakes happen.

We got a quote from Bone Dry in July and told them we could not have the work done until late fall - no problem. When I contacted them to engage their services I was told I needed to fax back the signed quote and they would call me back to arrange an appointment for the repair. I faxed it back immediately. That was Monday. I had heard nothing by Thursday so I called them. A different person answered the phone and told me I needed another division of the company. He said he would contact them and they would either email me or call me back that day. Heard nothing. Finally got a call the next day to arrange an appointment. They came promptly and did the repair, honoring the special I had bought on Angies List. I have no way of knowing that the work was done well as I did not get up on the roof to look!
